Hey guys and gals.. new forum section in the ME3 area for discussing characters and romances.. it might be a good idea to start another Garrus/Turian Love thread over there for the folks who are ok with ME3 spoilers (while keeping this thread free of ME3 spoilers). Who wants to volunteer to maintain a new OP?

I'll put my hand up as willing to do it if some folks want to help me get started. I'm fairly sure Chim wants to avoid spoilers.

i knwo this has been discussed here before... nd i'm honestly not sur i agree with it.  i dont want to have to keep up with two of the same thread... honestly. 
but... if the majority is up for it, then so be it.  oooooor we could have this one be the main thread and have that one be ONLY for spoilers?  this will still be the main turian discussion thread?

We'll need to reach some sort of consensus to make sure if we do want two threads that they are both maintained properly. Maybe one of you folks who frequent Clan V can pop in over there and see what they think?

Yes, but it was discussed in the past that if there was an opportunity for one spoiler forum and one non-spoiler forum that we could make two threads. A lot of people will consider any discussion relating to ME3 as being spoilery and we don't want to ruin anyone's ME3 experience. And it seems all the other character threads will be moving over there (at least their "romance" versions but the subforum is not limited to just romance threads). Just putting ideas out there for you all to consider, we don't have to do anything but if someone not familiar with this thread starts another Garrus thread it might get kind of weird (unless it is done right).

Oh gosh Danny, I've been on hiatus for 5 months almost now, been trying to work on some TOR-related RP with my guild and can't seem to focus on more than one franchise at a time. It's still in the exposition stage, I have a blog entry about it if you want to read that. No, leonia, you are right. ...... we don't want someone to make a forum and screw it up. i understand. i just worry that everyoen will move over there and this one will die. like i said, it seems like having two to concentrate on would be a bit sucky. but i do see your reasoning and would like to be involved if a new thread is made. yup.

Yeah I get the reservations, this is the one thread I read the most and having two has the potential to split us up. There's no rush really, I'm sure we can always ask a moderator to help us out if we want to do something specific in the future, I just got kind of excited when I saw the new subforum being populated with new threads. And it's also like 4 in the morning so excitement on the forums is like the only thing happening right now, lol.

I think we should move in to another thread soon, because this one is probably going to be closed (it's too long right now). The bad thing is that it means a lot of new work for the creators and a lot of new work for us!

Hm, how long are threads allowed to get? The FemShep thread still outpaces us by about 300 pages but you bring up a good point. This is going to take some collaboration which could get tricky with timezones and the like but we'll figure it out.

But back to Garrus- I probably would still love him regardless since I love me some of all turians. Maybe I wouldnt love him AS much as I do now. I tend to find rebels in any game so dam sexy. *has a rebel fetish*
And enough about this bad/good turians. I hate labeling Garrus a bad turian. He's an astonishing turian! He helped stopped Saren,Soverign, heretics, collectors and went into the omega 4 relay and back. I want to see another turian TRY to top Garrus' resume.

Im somewhat against Garrus being a father, though the idea IS utterly cute - it doesnt suit him. I dont see him settling down anytime soon. BUT that image of Daddy Garrus......I stared at it for a few minutes without blinking of how heartwarming it was.

Making a separate thread over at that board? Im on board with it. Theres some pros and cons do doing this.
1-We would probably get separated  And that mustnt happen! We stick together!
2-Only real reason BW posted that forum is because they're looking at ideas fans would like. I mean really - a ROMANCE FORUM!? Its like BW is begging for fan input. Putting in our 2cents credits into the forum would benefit in possibly making the GarrusxShep romance better.

And we have ALOT of great ideas in here. Maybe we can share them. But yes - maintaining 2 threads would be troubling, but we can do it. FOR GARRUS! HA-ZAA!

Actually, by stereotypical standards Nihlus was not a good turian at all, he constantly disobeyed direct orders, in fact, if you'll allow me to quote the wiki: (Yes, I visit the mass effect wiki regularly, I'm a nerd, sue me... -.-)
