Well thats not ENTIRELY true.....Thats like a yes and no statement. They did give us our romancable Garrus because we demanded it as an example 
Though I agree with ya that at this point, the game is generally on its way to being finished. At the same time - we have to keep a lookout for when they announce the games' gone gold. I could see them adding in some small details. Casey and silvermans twitters kept on telling people they are following on whats being said on the community, facebk, and twitter closely. It was also Casey that mentioned a couple weeks ago that they were watching youtube comments now as well. Hard to believe theyre following all that. Its just so much! - but then why would they keep saying it ;P

I love thinking of Garrus as an Officer.

I always go down to the main battery before I recruit him just to hear EDI when she says, "A Gunnery Officer is required to access the Gunnery Control Station."  I don't know why but just knowing that she's referring to Garrus, holy swoon-o-rama!

And I wouldve actually like to hear more about his training, though at this point - i doubt itll ever get revealed. Like its been mentioned here, Garrus mentioned he sparred with a recon scout, but never clarified HE was one too. All we know was he was enlisted in the military. Based on his skills and the fact he was an investigative officier, he could have been apart of a recon/infiltration team at some point during his military duty. He's sneaky enough  And lets not forget he's VERY observant to his surroundings, plus he's a tech savy. Would makes sense right?

About the whole hacking thing: *Face palm* Seriously this year is just one hack after another. PSN, Epic Games, Bethesda, and now Bioware....*sigh*

Oh I don't think so, it just depends how big the scale of the suggestion is, and how much of a drain on budget and production time it would take to implement it.

While this is most likely true, it doesn't hurt to try to voice our wants and concerns. I see the two threads as a spoiler and a non-spoiler thread more than "Devs might listen to us here" and "Devs probably don't listen here" threads.

The Thanix cannons on the SR-2 were also turian-designed weapons, which Garrus acquired through contacts in the turian military (IIRC. I don't currently have a save that's post-loyalty but pre-upgrade to check). It's possible that he needed to know how to work them before anyone would let him have the designs – if they were shady contacts, they wouldn't want anyone to know they'd sold them, and if it was through legit channels they probably wouldn't give them to someone who had no idea how to use them.

The Normandy is a frigate. Shepard may not have worked on a dreadnought before, either, depending on background.

On another note – BioWare has been hacked. While so far only the NWN forums have been compromised, the hackers may decide to try something bigger next – namely, the BSN. I strongly suggest that you all change your passwords and pass the message around to those who might not have heard.

If your password here is the same as any other place where you log in via e-mail or with the same username and hackers steal your info, they could gain access to those accounts and wreak havoc with them – and if they get into your e-mail account, they can grab your account info on any site just by clicking 'forgot password'.

Better to be safe than sorry, right?
