Ive been staring at that artwork for well over 5mins now Its- ...its just so.......
i dont even know what words can really do it justice.....
Im devastated...but in a good way i guess because of the art being so powerful. Ironic - we're all so touched by an image of garrus - and yet it only shows his hands. dam straight thats a masterpiece right there. I totally commented on it something powerful.

My next playthroughs taught me to understand Kaidan's reasons better, though I know my Shepard could never dump Garrus for him. In short, at first I wanted to kick Kaidan's ass because I saw him as a disloyal ex-friend, but I finally understood him and I think we can be friends again. Lovers? Not anymore.
Also, I'm pretty sure Kaidan will be cool with Shep and Garrus' relationship. He's a mature man and I can't see Garrus teasing him, because he grew up too
Tho thats sounds true to the character nature, i believe Bioware will find some way to get some friction between pretty much any of the LIs because ... well it appears more interesting to many players then starcasing how mature characters can be. Hopefully it wont be big and violent. Im sure Kaidan and Garrus are more likely to push each other's buttons in a verbal way then lets say Ash/Jack.
I try to console myself by thinking that if everyone was acting as their more mature in the ME universe, we wouldnt have such gems as ''ah yes Reapers"

I had a disturbing dream this morning.
Late home from work, it's dark already and as I come in, the only light is the bluish hue from the tv. I peek into the living room and see a large lump of strange shape on my couch. It's a turian! I walk in all the way, pressing my hands over my mouth or else I'd scream, because it's not just any turian. It's Nihlus! Sleeping on my couch!
OMG, I'm thinking, OMG, Nihlus is real. He's real and he came here to watch tv in my house and fell asleep, how adorable! I'm thinking, wait till I post this on BSN, the guys in the Garrus thread will go nuts. I'm so happy to see him, real, and alive, I'm euphoric, crazy, it's better than sex!
Then I decide to wake him up, can't wait to hear his voice. He's huge. I sort of tap his shoulder first, a bit scared, but nothing happens. I start to shake him and still, nothing happens. I start to panic. I drag his arms and shake him wildly and slap his face and there's nothing, nothing! At last it hits me. He's not sleeping. He's dead.

Sorry if I offended you, I just laughed at the idea the your dream was toying with you, I was not by any means laughing at the fact that one of my favourite minor characters in the mass effect universe was lying dead on your couch.

Nevertheless, it's like everything else: I always love the things that touch my feelings, like sad songs or dramatic scenes. It's not that I like suffering, but sadness well performed makes me feel alive. I love happy endings, though.

I know it's a touching picture, but I keep thinking, "Garrus' hands aren't that fat." I'd always pictured them as more bony with scales. Those hands just look a bit too...fleshy. That's the word I'm looking for.
That said, I love the sentiment of the picture and it's very skillfully done. My view of Garrus' hands is just different form the artist's. Don't hate me!
EDIT: I hadn't read the picture description at first. XD Derp. I see he's supposed to be old there.
