@LadyOlivia: I read ur post about your dream

Thats utterly horrible. Id be in shock, or depression for awhile if I dreamt that. Sure, ok, people will say - "its a fictional character!" - but its a fictional character we care alot for. *hug* Ive had ME related dreams....but i cant really remember any. Im one of those people who doesnt remember their dreams >_> Theres only RARE chances if i ever do. I do know ive had ME related dreams. I know Garrus was in one. He was driving one of those illuim cabs XP But idk any other details. Anyways - Dont let that dream get you down. Nihlus is alive! No matter what people say.

Hmmm on the topic of Shep influencing Garrus' personality to renegdae or paragon : Personally - I just want Garrus to generally come to his own decisions without having anymore doubt. He leans on Shepard alot with the whole "student mentor relationship", and we all KNOW he has the potential to be a great leader. I hope in ME3 we see his confidence take the huge leap that it needs. Take the experiences and "lessons" into consideration but dont let it utterly change him from renegade to paragon - let HIM decide. Though he's always been much more of a renegade kinda guy- but doing things with good intentions because he actually cares about the galaxy and other people. Garrus is the guy who beats up the bully picking on the little guy. Paragade? With a tad more renegade into the mix XP He has his own "style" of justice. Sure i dont exactly agree 100% with his decision to go to omega and just mindlessly take out mercs, but i respect it. And honestly - I wouldnt have expected Garrus to do anything else. Its so....."Garrus". ;P
So it other words - in me3 - Garrus is the full-fledged leader. An equal to Shepard. In past games, we've seen Garrus mature into a soldier, and at the same time trying to find himself. No more of that in ME3. I want Garrus to see and finally reach his full potential like Shepard has always believed he can, with his "style" intacted. Like he told Shep when she said she couldnt do it without him- "Sure you could. Not as stylishly of course.

And given Garrus' comments about fringe and waist.. I imagine those are the two major contrast points, with fringe being shorter and waist being larger than males.
And if we go with the bird analogy.. the men would be the ones "showing off" when it comes to choosing a mate, with bright colours and fancier feathers (er, fringe in this case) while the females would be more drab in comparison.
Agreed. This is my constant image of what a femturian would look like. BUT then again, it could just go either way. Im fine with long fringes too! I've seen male turians in me2 with short fringes so who knows. Its possibly just a complimenting aspect/habit for males to comment on a female that way.

And yes - Turians arent birds. BUT they were very much inspired by them;P So the similarites are there. Vague, but theyre there. I always pegged male turians would actually "show off" fringes, so to speak. Kinda keeping up with maintaining them. Eh...."Grooming" could be the word im looking for. Similar to what peacocks do. Making sure theyre clean, smooth and sharp perhaps.
