Gosh, i feel like i havent been here in ages x.x Stupid job....and life. I got loads of hours this week, got home - played uncharted 3 beta and SOME of my me2 insanity run, other times - friends "kidnap me". Too busy to do anything else nowadays T.T SADLY, i saw the tweet bou the loyalty missions - and gah! Theres like 2 LMs i always had doubts about. One being Kasumi's. I must destroying that damned greybox.....*always lets her keep it* Wth is wrong with me! Kasumi doesnt deserve to live even MORE off the grid. And she needs to honor keiji's final wish, and let him go. Plus - she doesnt need that dam box to remember the good times. She has that in her heart. Changing up some things - my insanity run is going to become my new femshep canon. *goes to romance Garrus all over again*

AND heh, some ppl on skype know 1 of my pals is streaming his 1st ever me2 playthru via webcam and i watched him get Garrus the other day. I squealed SO BADDDDD during the helmet removal part XDDDDD Good times.  
Just the way he sits - best sitting position conceived by man. EVEEEERRRR.

that, i will blame on Rei though. She gave me the idea.

i hear you on being too busy for anything though. i think i've worked 70 hours a week for these past three weeks... and since i work at 4 am, by the time i get home around 2 pm.. im so beat i can't do much. or i get kidnapped.

@Obsy: Dawwwww I actually worked on a quick sketchy of garrus with a kitten X3 not really done but still cute. Blah - i wish i had a dam scanner. And you playing insanity with me1?
Im in me2 - Heading to illium now. Left off after recruiting Tali & did some side stuff, along with a session of "mineral scavanger hunt". In all my playthrus, whenever i do this - I go for like 30-an hour with my ipod playing in my room scanning minerals. XD If a commander has to get minerals for the crew and ship, why not have some kind of entertainment?  ironically, im currently listening to songs that remind me of garrus. XDDDDDD
And last night, when i confronted Al-julani [spelling? I can never spell it XD] Garrus was STARING at me! And he did it again when i was talking to that salarian clerk on the citadel, doing that mission about the "stolen" credit chit. Geez Garrus, if you love FemShep so much, just freaking kiss her already XD

Speaking turians......SOMEONE has opened to gates of hell....

@Anima : Hmmmm. Ur system should still be fine. If its a YELLOW blinking light, then its dead. RIP.
Leave your system off for awhile. Unplug it and everything. An hour tops. Then try again. The system probably almost froze and turned itself off. Its happened to MANY ps3s. Its nothing to really worry about. Try playing a game afterwards.

i am, in fact, doing an insanity run of ME1. This is Obsydian. my canon Shepard... no Kaidan-mance... she's the one who loved Nihlus... (this is before she stoled him and locked him in her cabin)

oh GOD i dont miss mining in ME1. i been driving around random planets in my Mako. I missed my Mako.

Well there's good new and there's bad news. Bad news is the thing HAS died. 

Good new is I was:

A. Able to get my MEE2 disc out of it.
B. Able to write down the facecode for my best Shepard.


So how long do I have to re-do my playthroughs?

*sigh* Need some Garrus art to bring up my mood.

That's better....a bit anyway. I suppose this does mean I can devote more time to writing.

oh anima.... that sucks. i'm sorry for your loss. was it a Sony issue? or ...so like, can you get a new one from them?

Thanks, your feelings are deeply appreciated. If by a Sony issue you mean an issue with the console itself then yes. I have the option of either getting a like-for-like refurbished console from them for £134 or a brand new top of the range PS3 Slimline with 320GB of memory (as compared to my old one's 40GB) for £270 from GAME. Luckily my PSN account isn't affected so I can still download all my add-ons and stuff, the only real loss is that of my actual data.

...hm.. what i meant was, will they replace it for you? was it a software issue, like the xbox Red Ring of Death?

when my boyfriend comes home and i move my stuff from my roommates xbox to my xbox, i'll lose everything too. hell i'm not even sure if i can move my DLC. not sure how that works yet.

good luck with it though. and at least it means that you get to replay ME again? i dunno.. bright side of things? *hugs*

Yeh they'll replace it due to it being a technical fault rather than me throwing it through my window but at the cost of £134 due to the fact the warranty has expired.

Hopefully soon but then again, student income.

 Well at least it'll get replaced and u still have ur sheps face code and heck - u got the game out! Wouldve been horrible if u lost that too. More bright side news - you got something to do now to keep up busy til ME3, and its mass effect related! Replaying ur me2 playthrus. My heart goes out to ya for losing your system.

Opinions on Garrus' daddy!

Back on that thread there was a discussion on there being tension when Shep and Garrus meet up with his father. [Some called him "Papa Vakarian", and i know some of you here do too.] I know sure theres going to be tension. Theres no doubt about that. Its inevitable. I've seen people online think that Garrus' father is the kind of man that doesnt care for him whatsoever. I beg to differ. I truly believe that his father cares for Garrus. In the strict way sure, but he cares for his son. He kept him from becoming a spectre for fearing he would "lose his way". Always keeping Garrus' in line to make him succeed. He wants whats best for his son, even if it may seem harsh. I can see him being the kind of dad that pushes his son, even if his son is unhappy by his methods but still thinking the "Oh He'll thank me someday" kinda ideals about Garrus. Possibly.  Garrus went to the military, did service in C-Sec and all this couldve been an agreement on both parts. Garrus likes justice, so he possibly liked the idea serving in C-Sec at first. Until he found out first hand what its like and thus the tension between him and his dad couldve sparked there at some point. Sure they dont see eye to eye, and they each have their own concept on what "justice" really is and should be executed, but I still think "Papa Vakarian" loves his son. Who knows - hopefully in me3 they can get a chance to clear the air. Even if theres a chance theyre getting shot at while doing it. heh. Deep conversation during combat = Nice. Though Id like both scenarios, where they could be in combat and another chance where they can have a heart to heart without all the constant threat of death - and break the news about him being him Shepard.

Ya know its also a possibility that he hasnt told his father anything is because Garrus might feel like he's let his father down? His father could very have had some sort of high expectations for him and put more pressure on Garrus.

Trust me, if the disc had still been in there, I would've sawed that thing open to get at it, screw invalidating Sony's offer (which I'm not accepting anyway).

You make very good points, most of which I agree with. One downside of me reading so much fan-fiction is that it's s very hard job separating canon and fanon.

Well... I have this plant sitting beside my ps3. And I though gosh, that needs some water. All I had was a high school musical mug (which I had bought for my boyfriend as a joke). I filled it with water and when I returned to water the plant I looked at the ps3 and I though 'hmmm.. better not get any water on that...' and then I poured and well. DISNEY CAN'T MAKE A MUG TO SAVE THEIR LIVES.

Because all the water ran down the edge of the mug and all over the ps3, which I didn't really realize was happening until it was too late. Good thing it's got that curved top. I might just not turn it on for a few days and hope for the best.

Well it was inside the grates at the back... so I left it on its end on the bed.

Figures I was trying so hard not to spill water on it and I end up completely soaking it. I have a long history of causing idiotic crap like that.
