also awesome to meet someone else from the East Coast. I'm in Western Massachusetts. (and no, i feel zero qualms about saying that. really, if someone gave enough of a crap to find me then they could do it without being on the bioboards. lol)

lastly, Welcome to the boards. we're generally a nice bunch of fangirls/boys. if a bit odd.

and ok, lastly for realz this time... I would totally prefer CG Garrus. unless they got this guy to make his armor and .. well, him... i just feel that it would be disappointing. and CG has come so damned far. Bloody hell, sometimes CG looks better than real life.

 Hello, fellow Garrus fans. I'm new to the BSN, but I thought I'd pop in to show my support. Garrus is tied with Samara for my favorite character, and I look forward to fighting with him in ME3. Every game needs a stone cold sniper, and every God needs an Archangel.
Also, I thought I'd make a fan-fic recommendation. I was browsing through Fanfiction.net when I saw this. www.fanfiction.net/s/5775707/1/Mass_Effect_Interregnum.  It deals with Garrus in between ME1 and ME2, and how he recruited his team and became Archangel.  One of my personal favorite fics of all time.

Then I can certainly understand your mindset a lot better. I hail from northeast Florida and it took only one visit and drive through New Jersey and New York to teach me the northeast is a totally different world. I mean, everyone honks at everybody the millisecond the traffic light turns green. Really? REALLY? No way I could mentally and emotionally remain stable if I had to live up there (no offense to you and fellow northeasterners, but damn). I'd lose my cookies.

Thank ya! Been hanging 'round the Dragon Age forums, mostly. Those games are what actually brought me into ME as well, since I wanted to try something else Bioware had done. The Garrus thread actually reminds me a lot of the current Anders thread in DA2... composed almost entirely of a fun, goofy bunch of welcoming souls.

Definitely. I still don't like CG humans... even as well done as "Heavy Rain" and "LA Noire" are, there's still something... off, for me, visually. But CG aliens, dinosaurs, dragons, etc look frickin' fantastic.

Im just about to start working part time in a supermarket and your story about angry customers has me now dreading it

Im joking of course, but I think it depends on where you live- eg I live in a rural area so I think everyone I meet or interact with in London is a JACKASS because they are so busy and insist on running everywhere at the speed of light. At home, everyone does everything at snails pace and then goes and has a pint in the pub, meaning we all have more time to be nicer to everyone.

Yay, I'm so happy to see more people liking this, it's one of my favorite fanfics. I think I too recommended it, but it was a hundred pages back, so yeah, good to see it come up again.

Oh don't worry, neither of us were really at fault in that situation, and i'd like to think that it's behind us, and yes, I was new,  I've only been here for six weeks an 3 days, and yes I did refer to windows calender for that one.

And it says on your profile that you've been here since november 2009, so no, were not new.

You know what I mean... new in Garrus thread. In 2009 I didn't even know what ME was. Got ME2 for free with DA2 this april, started posting here in may, I think. Lol, and look at me now. My days begin and end thinking of this turian or another.
