I like the style of 5, but I miss the red hair.
Back on topic - I'm currently working on a Garrus pic. My question here is, do people prefer to wait til the pic's done before seeing it, or do people like to see work in progress shots?
I think it'd be fun to see the WIP, I generally tend to appreciate art more if I can see the design process behind it.

Yea I mean - really. Everyone would say one option or the other in the spur of the moment. But honestly - What do we really know about the situation? Nothing. I brought up both sides to the dilemma because thats just how I see it. And agreed, I really am interested to see how Garrus would react to such things. Im still curious as heck to see his reaction to Shepards actions in Arrival. Not just about the whole "killing a star cluster of batarians" part, but she was gone without any word from her for 2 DAYS. If my lover went on a SOLO mission into batarian space, and didnt return or send any form of communication in 2 days - I'd be freaking out. I half expected Garrus to come kicking down doors to save me in that facility XD [unfortunately....none of that happened.] And lol Ive been getting alot of love this pass week
Love ya too! Helps me smile over my lame doctor appointments.
Well it's fairly safe to say that the moral implecations are all over the spectrum, if the race is a massive clump of husk like creatures, then there is absolutely no chance in hell that I'm sacrificing garrus, jack or whoever my gay love interest is in mass effect 3, just to save a race whom are technically already dead. As for indoctrination, well, I don't believe that the reapers are deus ex machinas, I beleive that something organic did create them, maybe it's like a battlestar galactica where the machine race revolted against their creaters, we just don't know, but I definitely do not think that a machine race could just come into existence by the course of natural occurence like organic beings do, ok, now I'm literally babbling, my point is that if we look at the reapers as anything other than gods, that means that their power of indoctrination, is a technology, and that means, that we can discover exactly how it works, and if we can do that, I believe it's possible to reverse it. So morally, indoctrination is kind of a slippery slope, I don't think it's entirely safe to say that we would pick either for certain when faced with that decision in terms of an indoctrinated race. (Although how the reapers would manage to indoctrinate an entire space faring race is beyond me, that's why I refuse to accept indoctrination as a reason for why cerberus is after shepard) Then finally we just have the choice, race or LI, and I'm sorry but in this instance, how could you pick the LI? Doesn't anyone else think that's eternally selfish, and I know shepard deserves to have someone who cares for her/him, but for the love of god, is it really worth it? This is one life over the lives of billions, who would honestly say that they would not die to save the lives of that many people?

again: so ... did anyone else see this picture that Louvette did? btw. she's amazing and has some HOT Bioware stuff. (Thane, Fenris OMGTHEFENRIS)
.... and now, Garrus. her take is different then most. and i rather like it.
*snip*
Hm, I don't know, the first picture kind of makes garrus look a little feminine, the WIP is good, however the plates on the face should be a little bit more defined if you ask me, they look awfully smooth in that picture.
I flicked through some of Louvette's other work and I'm a big fan of her alistair if you know what I mean

HAVE YOU PEOPLE SEEN THIS!?

Does anyone else think that they all look a little bit young? Oh well, maybe it's just me, I thought femshep looked awfully short when I first played as her though, maybe it's just the fact that she was standing next to Nihlus in the first scene though.

But yeah, I agree with the general consensus, the blond one is the best imo.

Oh man THIS. I so want to know the reactions of Garrus AND the rest of the crew to the whole Arrival thing - both the exploding the relay/killing all those batarians and the whole "missing for 2-3 DAYS with no contact" thing.
I dunno if Garrus would go so far as freaking out - he's been with Shepard for two trips into hell and back again, he knows she can take care of herself. But he would most definitely be worried, very worried. I could see him spending a lot of time with Tali, pacing around on the engineering deck as he and Tali try to keep each other reassured.
I wouldn't say garrus would freak out no, I think reaction toward the death of the batarians would ultimately depend on shepard's, all of my shepards are paragon, so I like to think that they all had their own little break down afterwards on the normandy, I quite like the idea of garrus comforting my femshep when she's crying, sick to the stomach at what she had to do. My straight male shep would try to cover it up of course, jack has been through a lot already, she really doesn't need to see the one reliable person she has in her life break down in front of her and my bisexual male shep would probably have a better time hiding it than my others would, he's pretty used to bottling feelings up and hiding them away if you know what I mean.

I think garrus has a very strong moral compass though, he would have to recognise that this did effect shepard a lot before he could form an opinion himself, but he's always been the renegade that really wants to help people, I think he would understand more than anyone on the crew, garrus is a very close friend to all of my shepards, and a lover to one. (and hopfully a soon-to-be lover to another, but we'll have to see if bioware goes with that one)

Phew, that's me finished, that's what I get for missing a day's worth of posting huh?
Damn, this is gonna be a b*tch and a half to proof read...
