Through the power of brogasm they changed clothes and location, they had to, they brogasmed after all.


And nevermind the Fez, that monocle.... that monocle. I wonder if it plays music as well...
But now I am picturing one of those Space Monkies wearing a fez, the ones you see on Zaeed's loyalty mission. It fits so perfectly.

EDIT: @Chewy:  You just summed up everyone's feelings about Garrus in one post.

I think I might rejoin this thread again! I finally got my own Turian character drawn (mostly). I need a good last name to go along with Nova... and well, any ideas? Also... if you are interested in seeing it... let me know I could easily post it (I am too lazy >v<) Will also be getting some more art with him and such... Thinking about making a fan fic with him as well. So... any good Turian last name ideas to go along with Nova?

I often find there to be a lot of turian names ending in "us," (Nihlus, Garrus ect.) and seeing as your character's first name is nova, you don't seem to be adverse to using terran words for the name, So some Greek and Latin names would fit pretty well.

For instance: Augustus, Tiberius, Titus, Vitellius, Lucius, Septimus, Octavius, Arceus.

You get the picture.

There is a reason why he would have the name Nova (its an alias and such) which would be explained in the fan fic.... if I ever did write it XD but What do you think would be a good last name, the last names are pretty... different and in ME1 they didn't have all Turian names end 'us' for instance Lorik Qui'in and Detective Chellik.

Well I don't know! If you don't have anything to work off then just make up a word, I didn't say it had to end in "us" I'm just giving you something to work with.

Kinda makes me wonder if its influenced by the planet Invictus. I think it has the most Turians besides Palaven.

My Turian's name is Thazik so I'm not following the trend. Making Turian ocs is so much fun!

Yes my first response was a rather loud sqealing giggle (glad no one was around to here that) and sudden want to make my Fem!Shep jump hug him. Since that wasn't an option i just went with the being really happy to see him one lol.

Thie turians are based of off roman society, so it's possible that both the names of their worlds, and their individual names are words in latin and acient Greek. Invictus is latin for "unvanquished" or "unconquered." There is also a turian colony called "exodus" it's a greek word meaning to "break free" or "get out of" the origanal greek is ἔξοδος, as in ἐξ (ex) meaning "out of" plus ὁδός (hodus) meaning "way."

You know the book of Exodus in the bible? As in moses freeing the slaves? It's possibly a metaphor for the turians breaking free from their homeworld and expanding out in to new worlds.

This is what you learn growing up in a catholic school kids! Hurray for dead terran languages!

actually, Ursula... there's a couple of playlists for this. we have one for Garrus badassery, and one for Garrus and femShep. i'll try to find it somewhere on the thread.

and yeah, i also started classes and that with work means i'm lurking.

Edit: having looked it up, looks like we started around 850 or so. jellobell made a list of them on 852 ...  and leonia made a playlist of them which i cannot find. if it still exists.  but yeah.
