I'm watching the History 2 channel and they are talking about what type of life forms could live on different types of planets and they just mentioned a planet with strong uv rays due to a large sun and they mentioned how the the species on that planet would developed hard plates like a turtle or crab and I was think Omg! OMG TURIANS indeed. Also, the History channel does science now? I thought it was all Hitler all the time by this point. Hitler and UFOs

I've done a decent amount of science post-college (though I'm transitioning to veterinary medicine). Usually I'm willing to cut sci-fi quite a lot of slack, but some of the more egregious moments of science fail in ME3 did make me go WTF at my screen. Synthesis was the worst of it.

After MEHEM fixed my game I did slip into the Synthesis: A New Ascension thread and read the massive OP. Here's the thing: I like that version of Synthesis. It's still science fail, but at least philosophically interesting science fail. The problem is that all that thought and extrapolation was put into it by the fans. If there'd been even half that degree of thought put into in-game Synthesis by BioWare, I would've liked it a lot better.
Synthesis is a pretty common sci-fi theme. It was just implemented in an astonishingly inept way for ME3.

Also, did anyone buy that Garrus screen-print from the Bioware shop?
I thought about it. Then ME3 happened.
I'm starting to consider it again

You know, given how big Garrus's armor gets from ME1 to ME3, I wouldn't be surprised if this eventually happened.
His armor isn't the only thing that gets bigger
OK, I'll stop now.

My Earthborn Shepard was not amused, either. And being a vanguard with little tolerance, "not amused" usually translates to "ugly smearing on walls, floor and ceiling"... I suppose she behaved for Anderson's sake. Starting a major riot directly after becoming a Spectre would probably have upset him.
MEHEM doesn't change Synthesis, it basically forces a "super high EMS" new destroy ending onto the game. Regarding the game mechanic, the memorial sequence is Synthesis, without that creepy green shader effect. What's changed are the names on the wall and, of course, the actors. Why, was there a rumor or a new version that this was changed?

Hey I just finished ME1 last night and was wondering if there are anymore conversations with Garrus after he thanks Shepard? I'm pretty sure a few conversations were skipped over like the talk with the Council after Feros.

I don't remember any, aside from a comment when Shepard takes control of the Normandy perhaps. But it has been quite some time since I played ME - no guarantee that it's correct.

Hm, is there anyway to be paragon with him but get him to try and join the spectres?
Also so far I'm loving the extra dialogue and stuff from importing ME1 to 2. Oh how much I have missed.

None that I am aware of. My canon Shepard is an idealistic paragon, so she didn't try to stir Garrus into that direction, and even my other Shepards usually had their own reasons to give him the "be responsible, do the right thing, not the fast" speeches.
Regarding ME imports: Yeah, I can imagine thatMy personal opinion on the default imports is that they are screwed up on purpose to make all players buy the whole triology. Especially if you tend to play light-side jedi-knight type (or simply naive) paragons, the decisions you 'made' in ME are downright insulting. Wasn't it basically "Wrex dead, Rachni extinct, Council left to die"?
Given all three games and a mix of paragon and high-morality options, you can basically turn your whole gaming experience in a giant ball of cotton candy - and the ME universe has no way of stopping you. Peace everywhere, everybody loves Shepard... And then London comes and the universe finally kicks you where it hurts.

Merry Christmas to all around here.
And, to get back to topic: Who knows, perhaps the next year will bring some more ME3 DLC with a certain Turian, more female Turians or generally whatever we might still wish for Mass Effect in general.
