Yeah, I was just thinking that last night. It's almost cruel that Bioware showed us such an awesome character, It's not fair that such a character could exist yet at the same time not exist. D:

I have a pretty awesome IRL partner in crime, but Garrus is definitely my favorite pixelated man.  I haven't even played the DLC with Garrus yet and I'm still sitting here with a big stupid goofy grin on my face.

I did snap and watch the dance scene, even though I told myself I'd steer clear of spoilers.  OMG SO PERFECT.  Though I'm not sure my Shep could've held out while he's commenting on his sexy voice; she might've jumped him then and there in public

Also, does anyone else see this as "epilogue" DLC?  Other than a few dialogues about Anderson and the Reapers, the whole thing feels more like a last hurrah, maybe a few months after blowing the Reapers to hell.

Oh Gods that voice! I did giggle like a mad man at their attempt at roleplay. Shepard's panicky 'no no no' was cute too. Play this DLC, it is filled with awesome lines from all the characters and every time Garrus acknowledged the relationship I got all tingly. He's a lot more... openly affectionate than I thought he would be, not that I'm complaing, it was just surprising. They both use pet names with each other. o.o

I could see it as an eplilogue. I may just substitute this as my ending since I always pick destroy. I can headcanon that EDI lived quite easily. Still, I'm sad that this is the end. It truly was a great journey. If Bioware does make a ME4 I'm not sure I'll be able to play it knowing it doesn't hold all the characters I've come to love, Shepard included. Her and Garrus' relationship has sort of become a fundamental part of the series for me, all the relationships really.

Yes. Sort of the first real impression on the DLC after finishing it, when my brain returned from whatever endorphine-induced height or sphere.
The whole DLC feels like a happy snapshot of the "new life" after the complete defeat of the Reapers, written with a light heart, mood and hand, where there are still dangers, but the big and suffocating threat has vanished. They come to a near-defeat-situation, but the only thing they do is chatting, trading mock-insults and jokes - the air of desperation that was so often present during ME3 is just not there.
(Still, I like the "boss" enemy of the DLC. And the fact that finally class differences are sort of acknowledged in a cut scene, even if it's only the heavy melee that's shown.)

My personal half-headcanon ending therefore is game start --> ... --> London --> EC --> MEHEM --> Citadel-DLC seen as an "after the Reapers"-part. And if that order shows me that Anderson has somehow been revived, I take that as an extra bonus.

The main plot of the DLC is extremely silly, though. I'd think at the very least, Miranda would warn you if you befriended/romanced her that there's another Shep running around. Awkward loose ends and all.

Still, this piece of DLC kicks ass. And I haven't even gotten to the Garrus romance stuff yet.

Dat dance.

Holy crap that was awesome. Along with femShep's glare of death.

Bonus points for "lucky for you, Archangel is your boyfriend." Yes he is.

that death glare was great.

Ok small spoiler. *******

Did any of you do the relaxed party? And talk to Tali in the bathroom. Because at one point she gets thinking about fun with Garrus and Shepard. I nearly died with laughter.

Same here. Though I am somehow afraid to play through the party with any non-dextro-romancing Shepard.

I found it nice that Vega can finally refer to Shepard's romantic partner later on. Most, if not any, of the party banters were pure gold. And most of the mission banters, too.

And sure, the main plot was crazy, but I still liked the idea.

Oh, and female turian(s). Poor girl. So many great moments in that single DLC.

I'm doing the crazy party as we speak. It's not a party if my furniture is still intact.

I've done both, the party was my favorite but I do find it funny that during the relaxed Garrus and Zaeed hang out. Zaeed even calls Shepard the 'old ball and chain'. He says something like 'I can feel the old ball and chain starting to frown now' when Garrus was trying to put exploding glass in her apartment to keep her safe. Him calling Shepard 'sweetie' was unexpected. Still makes me wonder if every Turian household is set to detonate.

The plot was a little silly but you can defintely pretend this takes place after the Reapers since what person in their right mind would try and steal a ship during the middle of a genocidal war. Brooks was a bit obvious but I did not expect the plot twist as a whole.

With Anderson alive you can pretend he's staying down on Earth to help repairs. Or if a person prefers it was in his will, whichever.

 *just finished the DLC*

...

*inhale* Oh my...GOD

Image IPB

It was shakarian overload and I loved every single minute of it. The Dance guys, dat dance. I replayed it 4 times already, it was funny, sexy and just so them. I hit that renegade leg slide every damn time  RAWR. Who needs a sex scene ammiright?  As for the last interrupt I'm torn at which is my fav. On the one hand the vega flirt is paypack for the earlier turian female comment :D On the other, I like that when shep curls her finger at him his reaction is like "dayum" and then they look intensely at eachother . I love them both. I squee'd so loud when I saw it the first time.

Too many moments to list but because the experience is still fresh my top 5 are

1. The tango (no contest)
2.  Going undercover with Garrus ( what I always wanted to do in the kasumi DLC)
3. Garrus shows up to rescue shepard (so flirty I loved it:P)
4.The crazy party dialogue ...*fans self*
5.The last moment "That's my girl" <3<3<3

What a contrast to how I felt when I finished the game , I was euphoric all damn day because of this DLC. Excuse me guys

It was fantastic. Considering how they first met and how they were friends first before they were lovers. It makes sense that they (shepard :P) would want to act out a first meeting just to see what it was like.  The tone of the Garrus  romance pre-citadel has been mostly awkward and touching. So it made sense that their "last romance scene" and interactions were more playful and sexy than usual. Apart from femshep's come on in the beginning we've not really seen this side to them and frankly, I love it. I guess that's why I was expecting a proposal because I simply assumed the garrus romance wouldn't stray from it's usual tone. I'm glad it did ^_0

I also liked that vega and a female turian were in that scene to show that they really don't need something "closer to home" it was a nice touch. The scene fit because It was also a reach and flexibility reference and a nod to Garrus's earlier comments about her dancing ^_^. I friggin loved it.

Can I also say that I LOVE that friendshep can play wingman for Garrus? I prefer that a million times over the tali thing . I never had a problem with him being with another turian (I even wanted that to happen!) I just don't like talibrations. Its kind of funny now actually since Garrus has no issue  with hooking up with other women during his "romance" with tali haha. He would never do that with femshep  *fangirl cackle* This DLC has been rewarding in more ways than one.

I loved the wingman scene.  Personally I thought all of Garrus's non-FemShep romances were meant more as flirtations and hookups, even Tali's.

Finally did the party.. What I loved:

Shepard-Vakarian lovenest
Zaeed and Garrus fortifying the apartment.

Paraphrasing:
Garrus: You're the love of my life. Indulge your crazy boyfriend.
Shepard: Do what you want, honey
Zaeed: Get a room you two. There's plenty!

The code to disabling the alarms is I HEART GARRUS

Paraphrasing Garrus when Shep is dancing: Hey that's my girlfriend you're talking ab-. Almost played it straight. What are you doing with your arms?

Garrus and Shep gazing at each other in the picture.

For some reason I can't get the Team Dextro threesome convo to trigger with Tali. Any have the steps?

You need to do the "quiet" party, I believe.

I'd say so, too. Though the scene suggests quite a level of alcohol, which makes me wonder if it's really true.
Solution is simple: Just play every possibility, they are all worth it ;)

But about the "Friend-Shepard gives advice for Garrus"-thing: I have only played the DLC with my Garrus-romancing Shepard and did assume that "advice" was about Tali. According to the recent comments, I seem to have misunderstood something. Nice to hear.

Renegade leg-slip ftw!

I have just seen Tube vids of the calm party, and am glad I went the crazy party with my Renegade shep...the pet names wouldn't have suited her personality. Though for my Paragon shep tis a lovely =3

Yet to watch the Turian lady hook up, will have to get round to that. Cuz damn, can that lady turian dance!

I am really glad they came out with this DLC, I believe to soothes the pains from the endings. Although I wasn't so fond of the plotline, it was all about the squad interaction. For me, my head canon is now revised as:
Destroy/Injection of corrupted reaper virus
Geth & EDI live
Shep recovered, alive, from Citadel debris
A year or so of rebuilding Mass Effect Relays
Shep & Team reunite (Citadel DLC)

I was just thinking. Imagine they'd had the citadel dlc in with the main game instead of as dlc. With the original endings. That would have been even worse I think.

Back to Garrus. I found the first date bit a little strange, though I liked the joke about his voice (mmmm that voice) but the dancing was pure win. I imagine that shep was completely freaked out and embarrassed on one side/ completely turned on on the other!

I so wish that DLC came out for ME2 after SM... That would be epic!

(Garrus is a pure win in it. No competitors)

If you listen closely to the background talking, etc you can hear what sounds like an Asari say "Humans and Turians?" and also mention of them ballroom dancing. I get the feeling that turian/human pairing are something of a rarity.

I also think Garrus and James set Shep up.
