Wait, how is that possible?  You're only supposed to be able to play Citadel after you complete the coup, ideally after you lock in Garrus's romance.  Garrus's romance lock-in happens AFTER the coup.

Wait, how is that possible?  You're only supposed to be able to play Citadel after you complete the coup, ideally after you lock in Garrus's romance.  Garrus's romance lock-in happens AFTER the coup.

I dunno, but it happened. yea finished coup thingy. I'll just play one of my older saves and 'save' Citadel DLC for much later... also with the random "Origin is no longer running, Mass Effect 3 will now close" messages popping up during combat didn't help any, can't save during combat!!

apparently now and then my games like to Glitch enough to mess these things up? I think Harbinger's toying with my game then.

I have to say, I love Zaeed and Garrus hanging out together. They just have so many awesome lines, Zaeed especially "Goddamn ****ing clones!" or something to that effect. I love Javik's "Why is this human always damning his god?". Poor Shepard was almost like a school teacher trying to keep the kiddies from nuking her apartment.

I thought Javik was brilliant in this DLC, he is such a troll. I brought him along with Garrus for the archive mission and his line about having spent long enough in time capsules made me smile. Anyone else find it funny that while Shepard and whoever else (so far) is talking about her voice that only Garrus seemed more concerned about being trapped?

(Paraphrasing)
Shepard: "I don't sound that way! Do I?"
Javik/Wrex/whoever: "Yes, you do."
Garrus: *looking around* "Probably not a lot of air in here."

(Also on  completely random note I was finally able to create a decent looking Asian Shepard.)

So ... yes. yes everything about this DLC. the dance. the voice. Garrus 'knowing' about that voice. oh GODS. i've already played through it so many times. i agree with everything you all have said.

also.... i'm now seriously shipping Samara and Zaeed. seriously.

and honestly? i didn't mind the clone!Shepard thing. i thought it was clever and pretty well done. Also, plausable... who's to say Miri knew about it? i wouldn't have put it past TIM to have done that.

also... did anyone else notice the serious amount of people dancing like Techno Turian?

and YES i need a soundclip of Garrus saying the bit about "lucky for you Archangel is your boyfriend" and at the party in one of the groups he mentions (with a sigh, i believe) ..."falling in love with the ships captain..."

I love Garrus in this DLC.

Random thoughts:
-When did Garrus get the time to do dancing lessons?
-Liked Shep's look at the female turian.
-When would Shep and Garrus talk about what their first date would be like? After missions or during missions?

I do have minor quibbles about not being able to invite Garrus up to the apartment or getting another love scene, but since Shep and Garrus rather specialty talk about being in bed sorta makes up for it.

We're totally lucky for falling for our turian. I feel for the Thane and Jacob fans a lot.

Just wanted to say, Brandon Keener probably had a blast with this DLC. Garrus had so many funny comments throughout the entire thing. His non-romanced comment about Shepard's dancing causing the reapers to meltdown had me giggling for a solid ten minutes.
To top it of, romanced Garrus now knows that his voice is sexy.

In the Shepard-wingman scene we confirmed that Garrus isn't awkward in ME2 because Shepard is human. It's just the way he is with women in general. It makes me wonder if the hook-up with the Turian scout that he mentioned in ME2 went differently than he described.

I was wondering that too. It's a cute thought that he was both watching vids on human romances and taking dance lessons to woo Shepard. He really wanted to make it work, which is why I can't even imagine breaking up with him once the relationship starts.

Garrus did put a lot of work into the relationship. I would still like to know how the Turians (with it's different levels and all) would react to the pairing, but since it's Shep he's with that might carry a lot of weight.

I wanted Shep to at least know a Turian tradition. I know Garrus is rebal but at least it would show Shep trying to learn as much about Turians as Garrus is learning about humans.

One of his comments after the casino infiltration made me go aww:
(Paraphrasing) "The looks I was getting were more like 'How did a turian like that get a woman like her?'. Hell if I know.

Anyone want to take a guess on where they discussed no having a first date? Knowing Garrus it's probably after he sniped someone where the thought pops into his head and he starts worrying a little.

I like to think it happened during the infiltration mission myself. They were both dressed up and going to a party as a couple so maybe the subject came up there. 

As for the dancing lessons ...my guess is that he got the idea from one of the vids Joker gave him in ME3. The dip kiss was already a sign that he was watching old-school human romance vids. I imagine he took lessons on the citadel because I doubt they would teach the Tango on palaven

Yeah I thought we'd get cabin cuddles again ah well. And I'm ok with the no love scene thing since some of the things garrus said and did in this DLC were just 




it makes up for it.  Granted I was bit annoyed that he woke up with shep in his armour (take it off vakerian!) but I was also happy that they actually woke up together this time.

It really is worthwhile, not just for the romance but for the character interactions at large.  Wrex in particular just knocks it out of the park.

Finally caught the team dextro threesome comment too.

Anyone got all the combinations? I want to get the Jack/Tali/Sam 69 convo but I'm not sure if that's dependant on who's your li.

I don't think that's dependent on LI, just on the state of your party.  It has to be the wild drunken party.

Do a loud party that ends with dancing. Don't have grunt or Javik. Have Wrex. Instead of shooting bottles they'll be by the bar. I'll need to double check who else I invited.

wow. is it sad that i didn't realize that there were different combinations of conversations? i'm still a big fan of the Zaeed/Samara artwork convo.

also, does it change things if you do the loud party first or second? is it the same either way? cause i definitely started with a quiet party and everyone complained, so i upped it when glyph gave me the option.
