Awww thanks kg for the kitty hug, getting lots of hugs all round, thanks I need 'em, you can never have too many in certain situations.

As for the RROD I think I'll be shopping for a new XBox tommorrow.

As far as interspecies breeding is concerned - yes it does happen, probably more frequently than you think but there are so many biological reasons why it doesn't I could create a huge lengthy list (but won't cos your eyes will begin to glaze over) I think in this case Shep and Garrus - there is also the social stigma that could be the greater worry (even if they adopted).

I used to be really firmly in the "Garrus would absolutely never ever settle down/I doubt he would even say 'I love you'" camp, but I have way softened up on this. It might be all the fanfic...both crappy and otherwise. Have any of you guys read a fic called The Hundred Year Distance? That fic has a totally plausible adoption scenario in it. I thought the idea was horrid, but that fic handled it really well. Mind you I don't really want anything like that in the game. The most of this kind of thing I would want in the game is some kind of possible text acknowledgment in an epilogue or something.

And Buggirl I put this in a new post so you'd see without the crazed dog overshadowing...I'm on my 2nd 360. I saw where you can get a new 360 for 199.99 (American dollars) now that the new one is coming out. This is at Toys R Us in America, mind. I don't know about online or elsewhere. But it stands to reason that the price is dropping.

(BTW, Garrus is, like, the coolest guy ever. <3)

Speaking of new hardware/systems are any of the you gonna pick up Kinect or Connect or whatever they call it? I think it's gonna go kaput personally.

Oh yea, and Garrus.

That dog really looks like he knows what's about to happen too.

Maybe if they are fabulous it's easier to accept? But I must say that you can't make me draw mutant babies even if they are fabulous turians.

That's what's funny, the look in his eyes
(and for the record, NO, I do not believe the picture was real and not a composite!!)

I don't know what Connect or whatever is.

Even if they are fabulous, they are no-nos. Mutants are not cool when realistically portrayed.

Really? Kinect is some kind of hardware for the 360 that allows motion capture like on a Wii. They are coming up with something like it for the PS3 too. I doubt I'll get either. If I was interested in motion capture I'd already have a Wii which has way more games that already incorporate the tech. I wander if Bioware will ever try to get on into the motion capture scene. I doubt it.

Hehe, I just got a goofy image of myself playing Mass Effect while standing up holding an imaginary sniper rifle in my hands....please don't go there Bioware.

Oh, that thing for the new 360...where you don't need a controller to make the magic happen. I didn't know that's what it was called.

Oh no that poor dog!! He's my favourite breed too, allright everyone we have to stop!!

@kg Apparently Mr BG was eyeing off the sleek 360's last week, so maybe he willed its death. There is no way we can hold off for the new ones (I have no idea when they'll be released here in OZ) so I'm hoping I can get a good price.

But as far as birth control is concerned, I'm pretty sure they have super-effective stuff by 2185.

...oh no, why did I use "super effective" in that context...?

super effective, hu? :D
I wonder if that also counts for Viagra or so lol

I'm sure Mordin can make a special brew in his lab if Shepard asks him. He seems to have quite a detailed knowledge about those things. Dirty old salarian.

I know lol.  Isn't it hilarious that A) an advice booklet for turian/human relationships already existed and B)Mordin happened to have it on hand or knew right where to find it?

Well, Mordin was on Omega, one of the most diverse asteroids in the galaxy. So he must be prepared for everything that can walk through his clinic door.

I had a bowl of soup and I got up to get a soda and now...I don't know where I put the bowl of soup. How does one do that? Lose a bowl of soup.

Dear god, I never thought of that.  I don't even want to imagine some of the things walking through the doors of a charity clinic on Omega!  lol

A DLC on Mordins adventures as part of the Special Tasks Group would be very interesting!!

I just want DLC for various squaddies in general. There is some awesome fleshing out that could be done with any number of them. Garrus and his extremely vague past. Mordin's time with the STG. Who the heck IS Miranda's father anyway? And I can just keep going. Hopefully all this vagueness means Bioware was leaving loose ends they could work with in ME3...
