That may have been a huge "wtf?" moment, but the man speaks the truth. 

But he's disrespecting Garrus. It's like he's saying "I don't got time for you asking me if I'm ok, or about my personal feelings. Why don't you go see birdman instead, since he's train wreck. Not me."

Oh, I know.  Jacob's break-up lines are what really ruined his character for me.  He was correct in regards to the "who", just not the "why".

so for the record, if you want the cuttlebone comment from jacob, you have to romance jacob first, then garrus. frak frak frak....*headdesks*

no he doesn't say the cuttlebone line when I tell him that he is lying to himself. he says that i should hang on to garrus. i get the cuttlebone line when i dump him for garrus after romancing both of them.

Hey, I never wanted to romance Jacob in the first place so don't lecture me on saves just saying...
I have more saves on my hard disc than you can imagine. Yet, I rather go back and start over again, I love this game so much anyway, I don't mind playing it all over again after finishing one playthrough I noticed that I get a lot of glitches, when I play the game from old saves on actually. I twice encountered a glitch during Tali's loyalty mission for example when playing it from old saves with different careers. Right at the start when talking to her aunt (can't remember the name) before the trial even starts, I don't get the first conversation with her but hit a glitch and land right after the trial when Tali yells at her for not telling her about her father. Yet, I can't talk to the admirals and stuff and have to reload. Then it works. Happened twice from old saves, never from a newly started career. Or when coming back from Pragia and the cat fight is supposed to happen, I always end up right in the middle of the galaxy map instead of where Shepard usually stands and can't move from there. Always have to do a quick load there to get that right - but only when I play from an old save to see how different dialogue options affect the game, never when I play a Shepard that I just started. It's really weird. Don't know if that's just me. Also I have sometimes Shepard talking to thin air when playing from old saves. My dialogue partner just isn't there, like Captain Bailey when doing Thane's loyalty missions. So you see, I rather go and start all over again instead of dealing with stuff like that. Rather have a new Shepard that develops than that.

Really? Jesus, getting to know Jacob is a mistake. Because inside he's not a real nice guy, he's a real ****. Something tells me in ME3 he's going to cheat on you, and claim the romance was just casual.

If you don't romance Jacob, I don't see any reason why he'd turn into a bad guy. He's obviously the jealous boyfriend type, though, so that's a recipe for future disaster.

Now that I think about it, you're right.

When I did my "for science!" playthrough, I romanced Thane then Jacob and all he said was basically, "come back if you're not serious about the drell".  Then I reloaded a previous save, romanced Jacob first and got the snarky "sad eyes" comment.

It makes sense that he'd be butthurt about getting dumped for someone else, rather than when he's implying you dump someone for him.

hmm funky, also yeah I find myself doing that too. Starting new games.....However it recently manifest itself in DA:O since I just got back into it a while back.

Yes that is a truth that needs repeating. It even cost me a romance with Garrus due to no saves before a wrong dialouge choice.

Anyway, the one I got that didn't mention Thane sounded a lot more acerbic. And thank for you uploading these videos

yeah, I have no idea where he gets the idea about Thane from. I'll try to get that one without Thane in the next PT. Maybe I can try to romance both before I even recruit Thane. We'll see. Now it's bed time. 3am.....bed is calling....

IMO, Garrus looks best in his ME2 armor before his face gets torn to crap. The ME1 turian armor just wasn't as cool/armorish looking as the ME2 stuff.

Had to move to here after hearing the Thane lovers trashing fan fiction- just waiting for the day that my name gets mentioned and my writing cops a bollocking....not what I need right now.

Looks like I'll be Xbox shopping today, I'm hoping I can save my three Sheps from the old hard drive though, have to wait and see.  The only good thing about that is getting to romance Garrus all over again.....
And I have to say when Garrus tilts his head and says things like "I had to get you moooooving" just sends shivers down my spine.
