Hi Garrus thread,
Had to move to here after hearing the Thane lovers trashing fan fiction- just waiting for the day that my name gets mentioned and my writing cops a bollocking....not what I need right now.
Looks like I'll be Xbox shopping today, I'm hoping I can save my three Sheps from the old hard drive though, have to wait and see. The only good thing about that is getting to romance Garrus all over again.....
And I have to say when Garrus tilts his head and says things like "I had to get you moooooving" just sends shivers down my spine.
I love that whole conversation from ... "Garrus!" to "If I wanted to take down more than your shields, I would have done it." (or something similar to that lol)

Thanks to this thread, it may be strange for me to hear that line as M!Shepard. D: =p
To me, it doesn't actually sound the same to a male Shep. At least it didn't when my husband recruited him.

Uh, why are they trashing it?
Meh, there's a reason I hang out here and on the Kaidan thread, and occasionally the Ashley one. Y'all LIKE writers and support my addiction.

THe many faces of Garrus Vakarian it seems. In fanfics Garrus is either a dimwit, a predoturian, or has MPD it seems.
Dont really care because him and my engineer have been romping through mercs like a fat kid in a buffet pretty much.

I wished I had kept the link to a fic I just read, because seriously Garrus comes off as a total playa in one part, like 1000XRambo in his recruitment mission, a complete nut case in another, a pschyo with Sidionis, a predator during the Love scene, and a Shakespearen level lover after the Suicide mission.

*blushes* Hope I'm not the only one who does really enjoy Garrus as a predoturian.. <3

I think you would like it less if Garrus hadent used his talons on your clothes and then threw you onto the bed, pinned you down and had is way with you. HARDCORE. ... oh wait girls on this thread do like that kinda stuff NVM.

Well Shep got into it pretty well it seems, Garrus must have watched the vids. Although Mordin giving him the talk was awsome. However after the mission there was a very tender holding, and looking into eyes in the shower later. Trying to find it but its hard since it wasent on fanfiction.com.

Hey Sia, I tend to lurk on the NSAS thread occasionally rather than be a regular poster, the one time I did post one of the regulars got snarky that it was just rehashing something already discussed elsewhere (about something that was on CDN that could possibly lead to a cure for Thane), I didn't take it personally but one of the other regulars (who's also a clan V member) apologised to me for the response I got. Frankly I've been a bit frightened to post anything on their since or to even try join the convo.
They were trashing some fan fiction and saying stuff like I ONLY read M fan fiction written by such and such and such and such because no one else can write mature fiction stuff like them, I'm just waiting for them to trash something I've written or trash something that I have really liked. Not that I mind constructive criticism - its just when I hear people trashing things I want to remind them that many who write FF are NOT published authors and its a hobby for many not a profession.

You can always content yourself that the bashers 100% of the time can't write at all.
I have a degree in Creative Writing. Bashers can't hold a candle to a really determined college class that doesn't like genre ficiton.

Good friend of mine is doing a degree in Creative writing - She said if you want your stuff torn to shreads thats the place to get it done, works wonders in helping you improve! I've decided to do a creative writing course (just a short one), I have good technical writing skills and have a few published papers (dry sciencey stuff!) but the more artsy fartsy side of me wants to extend myself, I've got no intention of making it my profession (I already have one of those!!) but I am serious about it as a hobby and know enough to realise that I need professional help!! Mind you I want to learn to draw as well......to little time too many hobbies to distract me...

Jacob's love triangle dialogue telling Shepard to talk to Garrus about it. As if she would dump Garrus for Jacob *snorts*
and Joker giving his opinion about Garrus the dialogue where he sais that Garrus seems to have worked to get that stick out of his ass....
Ugh...and I thought I couldn't dislike Jacob anymore. I tried to like him and Miranda as decent people once you cracked through to them, but their dialogue is so condescending and offensive it's hard to. They really could have been great characters, but have dialogue lines that really screw them up.

Is it just me is is almost every human in the game besides shepard really mean, arrogant, or naive?Buggirl70 wrote...
I had no idea you get a nasty comment from Jacob if you're romancing him and Garrus - I thought Kaidan wasn't very nice ME1 if you have the Liara/Kaidan love triangle. Is it just the human males jealousy? You don't seem to get that from anyone else or have I missed something? Does Garrus get jealous and say mean things - I suspect not.
