Good morning everyone. I should get the cuttlebone line from Jacob tonight...HOPEFULLY! Romance with him is fully locked. It was funny and disgusting to watch all him hit on Shepard. That guy is so YIKES! Telling Shepard she's something special but still treating her like some random woman who's just hitting on him. Also, getting super angry when she tries to get him to open up. She even had an "ungrateful jerk" option then which I knew would totally screw up the romance but I had to try it just for the laugh. woot for saves. Didn't video capture it. But pissing that guy off is just too funny.
gotta correct myself.....i DID capture it! LOL! now I can make myself laugh everytime I want to *rofls* that guy is such a jerk!

He can ignore all rules of gravity
ALTHOUGH Garrus lacked the style of this guy whom I had used throw on during O'Keer's mission.

I've been thinking about who to bring along as the third squadmate for certain missions in MaleShep's replay. I planned to bring Garrus on Noveria (since he was there in my first playthrough before he suggested we bring Liara), but now that I've thought about it, bringing an ex-cop for a smuggling sidequest might be a little strange, even for MaleShep. It would be great to have him around for other scenes though...
Does anyone remember the order of ME1 squadmates for their Paragon/Renegade opinions? Tali convincing MaleShep not to kill the rachni queen would be nice. I can't remember if Tali or Garrus is more Paragon by game standards. I know she's more Paragon than Wrex, who would be my second choice.

Something similar happened for me, but it was a varren on Grunt's loyalty mission. I used a biotic attack as it was jumping/landing, and it just got stuck there. Garrus and Grunt and MainShep were all attacking it, but it just couldn't be killed. xD I actually had to reload.
I love to use the Arc projector, especially on those LOKI mechs since whenever I shoot one, it overloads all mechs that are aroun it. On Miranda's loyalty mission, I did this and then all mechs were gone, or at least so I thought. I still could hear one though. I actually had the red aiming help thingy frame one that was invisible. I had to shoot it until it was dead which really took me to reload my gun 3 times <_<
oh and GARRUS ! :innocent:

Garrus actually got in the way a few times. I almost hit him with a biotic attack once. Luckily, he moved before it hit him.

MainShep's favorite weapon is the Collector Particle Beam. For some reason, squadmates like to run right in front of it. I have no idea why. And then they yell at Shepard for shooting them. (When Jack got in between Shepard and the Human Reaper, Shepard just kept on shooting until she moved.)

I love the heavy Predator hand pistol. It's my most favorite weapon to use during the entire game. I usually take out shields and barriers with biotic powers and then it only takes one or two shots from the Predator and the enemy is down. Love that. Used the Collector particle beam only against the reaper on Horizon, the Collector's of course, that were taking over and during the final fight when I ran out of ammo against the human reaper lol.
Also love the Incisor Sniper Rifle - i usually pick up Sniper weapon training. Love it!

That flying merc picture is awesome
@ Kim Shepard: Garrus is more Renegade than Tali, so Tali should defend the Rachni Queen if you bring them both.
@ Xsause: About the elevator comment on Thane's RM, I think Shepard will respond to Garrus if any squaddie BUT Miranda is present, and if Garrus in the left-hand slot (if memory serves). I've had him speak up with Jack as the other squaddie, and I don't think it's because she was along, but because Miranda wasn't.
Also, I just couldn't resist....
Mordin: "Sheeeeeepard, I'm hot just like an oveeeeeeen, I want some loviiiiiin'..."
Shepard: ...
Mordin: "Sheeeeeepard, the Normandy's capsiziiiiiiing, eezo is rising and rising"
Shepard: ...I should go.
And the Guy Love rendition was brilliant. But you already know you're a regular source of brilliance

Garrus has probably done a bit of violent interrogations but I don't think it's something he enjoys or think is a efficent method.
Actually, I just triggered the Dr. Saleon quest in ME1 last night, and that issue crops up in that convo. When Garrus mentions bringing in Saleon's workers for interrogation, Shep can reply "You mean threatening. Was that really necessary?" And Garrus' response is "Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, it paid off." So he views it as an acceptable method. Of course, "threatening" can mean verbal threatening, but when Shep later answers "I hope he [Saleon] got what he deserved", the choice on the wheel reads "Did you interrogate him?", which, to me, suggests that it was physical. And I don't think Shep would get so defensive if it was just verbal threatening.
Of course, I might just be overinterpreting, and Paragon Shep in ME1 is one huge hypocrite, because she/he does threaten people verbally quite a bit.

you know what really concerns me? I LOVED playing Paragon in both games, but NOW playing Renegade is way more fun. I'm scared! I'm a good person! Yet, I love being bad!

I haven't used the Arc Projector yet. Actually, I haven't used the Cain either. (I was going to bring it to the Human Reaper, but forgot.) I mostly use the heavy weapons for boss battles, or some other strong enemy that refuses to go down easy. MaleShep will use the Grenade Lancher a lot - it'll replace the regular grenades he had in ME1. I'm still learning all this combat stuff though. The Mass Effect combat system is the first one I actually bothered to learn more than "point and shoot." xD I still don't have squad commands figured out, so maybe that's why everyone keeps running into my line of fire, because I'm not controlling them personally.
@Nilfalasiel: Thanks. My plan should work then. Garrus for Noveria, Wrex for Virmire, Garrus for Therum, and Wrex for Ilos/Citadel - in that order. (I brought Kaidan along on Feros. Liara and Ashley will not get used at all this playthrough, except for the short time Ashley had to be there before I got a third squadmate.)
I never use Jacob lol....he uses his "pull" power too much. Usually, when I am firing at someone or using my own biotic powers and bam, he pulls the enemy away. Jerk! Hate this guy! Also, I never really waste any talent points on the Pull talent for me or any of my squadmates. it's basically useless if you ask me.
I use the Grenade launcher on Omega quite a lot against the Vorcha on the balcony and stuff during Mordin's recruitment mission. Other than that, I don't think I've ever used it much. Still prefer the Arc Projector and the Collector Beam. Never used the Cain either. Don't know why that is.

Maybe this time I should try to get the squad commands right too. I like the idea of Garrus shooting stuff with the sniper rifle from afar while MaleShep gets up close with his shotgun, and the two of them making it into a competition.

I try to give my Shepards their own unique fighting style. Sometimes that's hard to do when powers change between games though. My Vanguard (MaleShep) will no longer have Lift, but I think Pull is supposed to have a similar effect? Playing through Feros after I finally figured out weapon customization was so much fun. Lift + shotgun with high explosive rounds = levitating, flaming geth. It was awesome.Grenades will be more limited in ME2, but he gets new powers to make up for it. Can't wait to try out Charge.

I don't like Charge. Vanguard is not my thing, tried, didn't work for me. I'm not the Melee type I think, especially not in ME2. When I tried Vanguard I was like "oooh, shiney new button for shiney new power, let's try....oh ****" charged my Shep right into a group of Vorcha and died! not funny!
Went back Adept or Sentinel this time. Like that, it's fun and I like that I don't have to rely on other's biotic powers.

Manual control helps ease the pain. Seriously though, I always go full manual control for my squad in ME2. Probably because it's a lot more essential to prioritize enemies that in ME1. In ME1, I just leave everyone to do their own thing. Not in ME2.
Also, melee makes me panicky, so Vanguard is DEFINITELY not for me. I always feel like I'm doing something wrong if enemies are up in my face.
