I haven't romanced Garrus nor watched any of the dialogue clips, but I think my 1st Femshep playthrough is already figured out. Not spoiling it will make it rather exciting to say the least :innocent:

Sheploo: "Well now I figured out why Garrus never has time to talk to me."
Tali: "You mean how he's always calibrating his weapons?"
Sheploo: "More like he's CALIBRATING MY SISTER!" *storms off to yell at Grunt*
Tali: O.o

I'm so happy new garrus dialogue was posted!!! I never cheat with my shepards so I never got to hear all this! Eeeeeeeeeeeee! Can anyone record that special conversation with Jacob when he randomly tells you to go to Garrus? Someone mentioned it on this thread before, basically Jacob gets moody with you and says Garrus would be better suited to deal with you (even if you are not romancing Garrus I believe) it was very interesting so I would love to see it for myself.
Jane already recorded it, you can find it here

there's two versions
the one only about Garrus
and
the one about Garrus & Thane
edit: ah CerryD beat me to it. But yes it's true. Jacob says that, even if you haven't romanced either of the other guys.

I can't believe how people can be active on this site and not spoil romances. Really. Teach me how to do it. It might help me staying active on BSN without spoiling ME3 when they start leaking spoilers
Anyway, have fun with your femShep!

I wonder if he is surprised by her interest because he is a turian or because of the scars? My hunch is both what with "I know you can find something closer to home" and "I never knew you had a weakness for men with scars."
I was complaining rather forcefully the other day about how I thought Garrus' romance was rather vague as to how much he wants from the relationship, but come to think FEMSHEP is actually the one being vague. She's the one who brings up "blowing off steam" and "easing tension" in a really casual way. She never really gives too many hints that she wants something more serious so on that level, why would Garrus do so either? It would be extremely ironic if he is holding his tongue because he doesn't want to scare her off and is still really unbelieving that she is expressing interest. I think he is surprised because he's never thought about being with a human before and he has to wrap his head around it, but I think he is just as surprised that Shepard picked him. I don't think he really knows how serious she is and must be thinking in the back of his head "Is she just desperate because I'm the only one here she knows?" "Is she just into kinky flings because she likes to experiment?" "Is she paying me back for being a smartass and messing with me?" I think we got one pretty confused turian on our hands here. Makes me feel sorry for the guy (and a little ticked at femshep.)
Heck maybe oblivious Garrus isn't so oblivious. Maybe oblivious femshep is oblivious.

I have never used the Cain, its never been charged properly so I've never bothered to bring it with me. I love the Arc projector, my weapon of choice for those pesky husks. I also like the collector particle beam.
Currently playing with the DLC new sniper rifle, quite liking that too.
I like the Collector Beam and the Arc Projector both, but actually I tend to use the Widow as a heavy weapon. Only time I break out the Widow is if we are on the ropes or something really big and scary is coming. Using it on little stuff gets redundant and too easy to me.

I mean, hell, you get to point a gun at a batarian for calling you stripper!
I'd like Harkin to be in ME3 just so Garrus can kick him some more yelling "Next time --" (kick) "-- look up at her face --" (kick) "-- when you're talking to her!" (headbutt)
This.
Now I really am going. Rest in peace, Garrus thread. (Of course, it's my own darn fault for always showing up at 2:25 in the morning when all the normal people are asleep. Oh well.)

As for Garrus being surprised: actually, that scene where Shep chooses Garrus and also the dialogue how she wants someone she can trust and also the one about how she doesn't want to pressure him or make him feel uncomfortable....it actually showed me that there is way more to the romance with Garrus than just blowing off steam. I think, both of them voice the blowing off steam subject to cover their true feelings because they both don't know at that point how the other one would react to a confession about deeper feelings. The "trust" line alone just goes to show that it needs more than just being horny to actually blow off steam. my two cents on that.

Yes, I just wish one of the idjits would suck it up and say it aloud! I get the feeling everybody is nudging each in the ribs behind femshep/Garrus back because they clearly see what is going on while Shep and Garrus spend weeks nervously dancing around the topic. It's funny and endearing...and frustrating.

Only soldiers get the widow, right? (or infiltrators also) I as adept or sentinel have never gotten it so far)

Goat if you ever get the chance make a bolt for garrus and start up his romance. It may be kinda weird in the beginning but it builds up to something nice at the end, and i think that the relationship would only get better from here.
It's just this thing...I'm a guy. So it's like that dude that commented on Brandon Keener's facebook about being a male romancing a male as a female
Anyways, I'm half-joking. I'm gunna have no problem doing the romance, but I admit I'm probably gunna be a bit nervous lol

Gah! I keep hitting "quote" instead of "edit"
Frustrating. Ignore yet another double post.
I notice that happens a lot. Whenever I see a wasted post I think "perfect spot for a picture".

Shepard: "I see, so you point your gun out like this?"
Garrus: "Look how I'm holding it."
Shepard: "Like this?"
Morinth: *facepalm*
