I am totally just pulling this out of my butt.  I have no evidence for this other than vague intuition and some things I think I have observed over the years, but I don't think Bioware pays any attention at all to what goes on on other gaming forums.

They do. There are devs who actively post on other forums.

Which ones?  Which forums I mean?

The DA devs are more active.

Meaning the DA guys are posting on other forums? ME devs were really active on the forums just prior to ME2 release as well.

I heard there were good old times when devs also actively posted in ME forums. Guess there were much less hostility back then

Actually the general atmosphere of the ME2 forums before release was pretty much the same as what's going on in DA2 forums right now. Lot's of "WWWAAHHHH! The RPG elements are gone!" and "I don't want a squad full of psychopaths!" and "It's Gears of War with interactive dialog!" I think the DA2 reaction is pretty standard.

No, I mean general BioWare/ME2 devs posting on completely different forums. ;) I know of at least five or six who are active elsewhere. I don't want to out them or anything (cause that feels inappropriate?) but the PA boards and other sites have a lot of traffic.

I know.  I mean which other forums are they active on because I think that is relevant to what I was referencing earlier as, well, different forums are going to attract different styles of gamers.  Which forums they are on probably has a lot to do with which opinions they hear the most frequently and so on.

What if Tali interrupted Garrus/Shepard?  Embarrassed Tali would be quite adorable I think.

Also, IccaRa, is that Thane carrying Samara on his shoulders in your sig? Very random, but very cute, lol.

Actually I think that is Thane's son

To somewhat change the topic:

Someone (I think it was Collider) was suggesting that the next appearance pack should include shades for Jacob.

Take your pick:

Oh, and to keep this on topic, some awesome Garrus art:

The author of this said this was a superposition of Garrus on Omega and Shep on the Normandy waiting for news of Garrus after he ate that rocket.

Ah, lol, that makes more sense. I thought it might have been Raiden...err, I mean Kolyat, but then I thought he looked a little bit too blue.

I read a few things on the DA2 forum every now and then, but I've never posted there. My opinion is the exact opposite of what I've seen there - I like everything I've read about DA2 so far, but I was the same way with ME2. And I like the "squad full of psychopaths." xD I've always liked those types of characters best. (Everyone knows Saren's my favorite, so that must be pretty obvious.)

I admit I freaked out a quite a bit in the early stages of ME2, but I mellowed later on and once I got the product in my hand (along with DAO) I learned my lesson.  In 10+ years I have loved every last Bioware game I have ever played.  They know what they are doing.  I don't think it's blind trust on my part.  Their track record speaks for itself IMO.

Anybody got a link to that masskink thing on livejournal? I've never been there and I can't find it for some reason via search engine or search on livejournal.

I've only played Mass Effect and Dragon Age, but I'd like to find used copies of KOTOR and Jade Empire. I think the other ones I've heard of are on PC... which wouldn't be a problem with the system requirements now (they usually are for me, so I doubt I'll be able to play TOR when it comes out), but I'm not used to playing PC games. xD I would fail at the combat for a long time before getting any better.

Out of the BioWare games I've played though, they're my favorites. I don't think I've played any other games in months.

I can link to it. Just PM me if you want it. (I stopped looking at it a long time ago, though. Got kind of redundant after a while.)

@ Collider - well duhr. ;)

I've recently bought both KOTORs and Jade Empire for cheap off Amazon. PC games go for pennies on there, so you could go take a look. And don't worry about PC combat. I was afraid that I'd fail at it when I bought DA:O for PC, but it's surprisingly easy to pick up. Dunno about KOTOR or JE, but DA:O is actually better on PC in terms of gameplay. You have more ability slots and they're easier to use.

And of course, mods ^^

I don't think KOTOR is found in hardcopies new anymore. Do you have STEAM? I Almost got them when I got ME 1 was on sale (both KOTOR 1+2 for $5).
