I don't think KOTOR is found in hardcopies new anymore. Do you have STEAM? I Almost got them when I got ME 1 was on sale (both KOTOR 1+2 for $5).
Probably not in stores, but the ones I got were brand new hardcopies.

I remember a forum where a lot of Star Wars novel writers started to participate, but one who... well, wasn't as highly regarded as others was completely lambasted. After that, the activity of all the writers dwindled considerably to the point of nonexistence after a couple years. Another forum for Babylon 5 had to go to moderation if the participants wanted to still interact with Straczynski. One writer for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine braved the waters of a particularly bitter forum, and bless him, he stuck with it until the end.Collider wrote...
I remember that. Good times indeed.mashavasilec wrote...
I heard there were good old times when devs also actively posted in ME forums. Guess there were much less hostility back then
No one wants to hang out in a forum where all they're going to get is criticism and demands. The couple times I've seen an ME2 developer join a discussion, he gets just as much vitriol as your average poster. I'm surprised Gaider presses on, but he might have been like that DS9 writer with a particularly thick skin and good spirit.
Anyway, once an atmosphere is tainted in your eyes, all the promises of cookies and bunnies to give it a second chance aren't going to be enough to draw some people in.

Gaider is awesome. A great writer, and willing to talk with fans. And if need be, defend himself. I found it nice that he defended his character Alistair from a few criticisms, as I witnessed.
Agreed.

Huh, he didn't have to defend Alistair from most of the female population out there. I'm inclined to think he got something right in that regard.
I should know this and it's probably in the OP, but who actually writes Garrus? I don't think I've ever heard that mentioned anywhere.

From what I understand of how ME 2 was made, there was a team of writers and each one got a "section" of levels to write dialog for. So the same person woudl write for al lthe characters dialog for a given area but another writer would take over in a different area. Thats why you get soem vastly different style responses in soem spots for characters and Shep.

Surely they had to have some general vision though? Some guy who says "no, that's out of character" and so on or they would have no consistency. I wonder who the guy who got final say on Garrus dialog was.
dunno the head writer? I'd imagine they all had a "guide" or somethign that detailed personality and other quiks.

...is that...is that an OBOE?!
If you're referring to what Garrus is holding, that's actually a bassoon.
Which is even more awesome. I love that instrument
Liara's one does look like it could be an oboe though.

Meg would get the following from Liara:
L: "You wouldn't touch me, but metal plating turns you on?"
M: "Sweetie, he's a MAN, you are not. Same reason I chose Kaidan."
BINGO.
