Why does Garrus wear the scanner on the left side when I think he is right handed? Wouldn't the right eye be his main aiming eye?

Yeah, that makes sense. At least for me, my first impressions are usually the right ones though... I didn't like Ashley during my first through playthroughs of ME1, and I made MaleShep talk to her more on my third playthrough. He went through all the conversations, and I still don't like her. But I still think she should have an important part in ME3 if she's alive.kglaser wrote...

I hope all of them either come back as squadmates, or have another important role in ME3. (I'd like to see Wrex get a krogan army to help us.) Even the characters I don't like. Everyone's favorites should be back for ME3.
I support this...I actually want to give some of my less-favorite characters (from both games) another chance, both through repeated playings of the existing games and, if possible, the third. I mean, I have definite opinions about who I like more and less, but I'm willing to give some characters another shot to see that side of them that their fans see.
Does that make sense at all?

Most like it's because his scanner gives him added info. So he looks down the scope with one eye, and the other see's the info from his scanner.

Maybe turians operate way differently than humans but that would totally fritz my brain out.

Hah, did the Tali thread just hit 10,000 about when we hit 200? Dang, it's like our fates are tied together or something...

Personally, I think Shepard should have the option to not let the Virmire survivor join though. I know some of my Shepards don't trust them anymore.

I tend to have a very slow reaction to characters. They are just "meh" for quite a while and then all at once I will suddenly realize I either really like or dislike them. Some characters I dislike form the start but that is usually due to sloppy marketing (Jack.) Once I get over my initial emotional reaction and start thinking about the character more objectively I usually end up at least appreciating them if not liking them. Say Samara. I don't really "like" her, but I think she is a good character and I appreciate her. Same with Jack. Heck, even kinda Zaeed. The only characters I dislike are boring ones (Jacob.) Some people I hate or get annoyed with (Udina, turian councilor, annoying reporter) but that's because you are supposed to dislike those characters. In other words they are good characters who are doing their job. Their job is to be annoying. I appreciate that.
