I read in another thread that Garrus "dislikes Jack." Is this true?

I don't think anything in the game supports this. But he does seem to dislike Miranda if his dialog before the Suicide Mission is any indication (Killing Jack by not upgrading the ship first of course)

I agree. I didn't see anything in the game that is like that. And as you said, he seems to distrust Miranda or at the very least doubt her leadership capabilities.

Well he does have a bit of dialog with Jack on Illium (if you "talk to Jack") but I forget what it is.

Garrus says that the people Jack calls "soft" are not soft but just not paying attention.

I think the reason people think Garrus might dislike Jack is because she's a criminal who, in the end, got away fine after all of her crimes. And Garrus hates people who get away with the most horrible crimes.

In-game, however, there's no sign of Garrus disliking Jack. And I don't think he really dislikes her either.

Mordin in a speedo will put an end to the Garrus thread silence.

I think after Pragia, especially since most of us bring him, he forgives her a lot of her transgressions. Probably still thinks she should pay for them, but acknowledges she may not have been able to be anything else than what she is after her childhood.

I have to admit, at first when my Shep made a move on him I thought he was going to react very awkwardly. He seemed to have some initial surprise, that was to be expected of course, but then he took it in his stride and acted all cool about it. YAY!

Haha, just wait....

Hehe, indeed.

Anybody else think that that conversation between Garrus and Tali on the

sure sounds smarmy there.

I don't think Garrus was trying to flirt with her, but I don't know what the heck BK was thinking when he said those lines because I don't think I've ever heard Garrus sound sexier.  Seriously, what was up with that? <3

I agree. Too bad he was too nervous to put on the smooth moves for Shepard.

True in a way, although I think his awkwardness with Shepard was part of the charm of the romance.

Has everyone seen the results of the latest poll? Garrus is the most loved squad mate (naturally)!

D'aww. It's why we love him. ^_^

(although the badass in public/awkward in private thing could very well be read as a symptom of his inability to deal with real emotions and his own feelings about stuff, so he covers it with bruvada and confidence and gets down to killing as a way of refusing to deal with stuff.... but I'm going to stick with my "D'awwwww." :P)

And cookies, icecream, cupcakes and song parodies.

And don't forget unicorns.

I'm baaaack. And I'm going to do something completely new this time; I'm not going to catch up from where I left. Is there anything big/new I missed? Apart from 200 pages? ;)

Hi Cerrydd :) I'm going to the beach for a week, starting Friday, and I'm planning to do that, too (not catch up when I return). I'm going to miss this place, but the above picture gives me hope of running into Garrus on the beach. ;)

That sounds glorious! If you run into Garrus on the beach, you must promise to *take pictures*- do you so solemnly swear in Garrus' name, for the love of Clan V, Cookies amd Cupcakes?

I was thinking back to Mr. BlazenGlazen saying that the thread was moving too slowly. It has certainly slowed down this weekend.

I also did the first panel of the ME meme and it took longer than I imagined it would. Yup, this is going to take a while.
