Is there ever anything else going on around here?  If so, it must stop at once.  We have a reputation to uphold.

I don't know, but I'm sure I will hear plenty of "Tali-isms", since I'm going for Quarian Sympathizer this time around. ;)
Question: If I don't have Liara yet, does Garrus (or whoever) still recommend I bring her to Noveria? :?

Our current playthroughs are very similar then. xD Get Quarian Sympathizer, leave Liara until last because she made us restart, and try to remain romance-less until ME2. (And did you do Feros first too?

Yes!
Omigosh!  It IS like looking into a mirror!!

Yes awesome is definitely a reward! I've started playing games that I bought ages ago - Bioshock 2, just so that me and my new Xbox can get to know each other 'better' (R.I.P arcade Xbox360 untimely RROD).

But I'm also toying with the idea of a new character and class for ME2 - I've never played engineer or sentinel - what's better?

Not sure about you guys, but I just don't get it how they managed to write smut without any hang ups? I admit that my mind goes go into the gutter sometimes when reading and imagining... stuff, but writing is a different story for me. One time I was try to write a racy section in one of my fics I'm working on and then I've gave up and left it on hiatus.

That's probably why my fan fic writings are mostly rated T so far.

Also I don't blame you for avoiding fan fic smuts, it's not the racy parts, it's the OOC element that got into me. It's just that it feels funny imagining the characters going OOC while reading it. Hence if I need to read smut, I've prefer to read it as original fiction, at least you don't have to worry about OOC. Instead, I'll be critiquing on the writing instead.

Yes, I hate OOC as much as everyone else, but here's the thing:  when the author manages to get Garrus and Shepard (and, for bonus points, everyone else) in-character, along with the smut, it's a very beautiful thing. :D

And I can't write that stuff, either.  I'm kinda in awe of people who can.  I don't know how I could show my face after that.  I DO have a sort of suggestive picture of an artwork in my head that I'd love to do if I were talented at art at all, and I think I'd be less shy about doing that...I've had this picture in my head since ME1 and I toy with the idea of actually painting it someday...but it would probably look like my cat drew it. LOL

Can't say as I have never tried either in ME2.  I don't like repurposing characters in ME2 form what they are in ME1 and I found both Sentinel and Engineer rather useless in ME1.  But from what I have heard, I would hazard Sentinel.  Apparently if done right, they are brutal.

There's a spoiler thread in Clan V Pacifen.  Personally If people want to discuss here I wouldn't mind I would just skip over the posts (yes I do have that much discipline!) but I know others may not want the spoilers.

I'll take it to Clan V once I finish the book then. I don't think I've recovered yet from shouting "What about that Qui-Gon dying?" after I left the movie theater during The Phantom Menace premiere.

That's OK.  I don't think I've yet recovered from yelling "Nihlus is dead?  Already?!?" way back in 2008. <_<

Hah, I did something similar to my sister by accident as she was reading
LotR. I mentioned the Battle of the Shire and Frodo being alive.
Consequently she totally didn't believe the part in the Two Towers where
he really looks like he is dead and Sam is going to carry the ring.
She about broke my neck.

Hehee!  When I read "The Two Towers" years ago, my husband got punched in the arm:  When I started reading the trilogy, I asked him if anyone of the main characters died in the books, and he said, "Only the bad ones."  Well, I got to the end of the book with Frodo, and I was sure he was dead.  It was like 3 am but I couldn't put the book down to go to sleep.  He was fast asleep in bed beside me and when I read that, I exploded with indignation.  I punched him on the arm (hard) and he woke up with a start.  I was yelling, "YOU SAID ONLY THE BAD PEOPLE DIED!  YOU LIED, YOU LIED TO ME!!"  He was all, "huh? whaa? what time izzit??"   Haha, did I feel guilty later

Depending on what you want to do more. Support or Lure.  Sent's is good at soaking up damage (Tech armor puts you back at 100% shields plus stuns pointy blank enemies when upgraded.

Engineer is good at disruption and takign down defenses.

Believe the woman.  She writes good smut.  I can say it from experience.

Yup. kglaser approves +1000.
And she even got better as she went along.

For instance, I avoided the Last Airbender after seeing its epically bad Rotten Tomatoes score.

You are wise indeed.  I saw it anyway.  There are no words.  It was Uwe Boll-bad, Alone In the Dark bad, Battlefield Earth was more entertaining, I had a pelvic exam that was more fun, etc.etc.
Anyway, bad.  Very, very bad. :pinched:

I got paid back for it though.  About a year ago my brother-in-law was reading the Dark Tower books and loved them and kept bugging me to read them.  (We are the only nerds in either of our families so we are all the time pushing each other to read this or play that so we have someone to talk about it with.)  Anyway, he couldn't contain his glee and mentioned how many characters died in the last book.  Consequently when I read the last book I was able to predict with unfailing accuracy who died and when they would die and people die like flies in that book.  The ending still punched me in the gut at least.

I also completely spoiled myself on the Garrus romance pre-release but that was all my own fault.  In the words of Alistair with corrections for gender "Well, I"ll say it.  I am a weak, weak woman."

I love the cartoon and am very suspicious of Shymalan.  (spelling?)  Anyway, so I resolved to read reviews before I went in case he butchered it.  I'll just pretend it doesn't exist and go on liking the cartoon.

I've been trying to pretend I never saw the movie.  Since most of the "acting" just washed over me like a car insurance commercial, with all the emotion it conveys, it's been relatively easy.  I have about half the episodes on DVD and next I will buy season 3 in box set.  Awesome, awesome show.

Too bad no one ever tried to animate Garrus.  There is that one chibi Garrus, which is completely adorable, though.  And there's always the krogan cartoon show on the tv in ME2. :P

Well, I'm going to take your word for it, Raga.:innocent:

*Checks over buggirl's page*

Awww... thanks for adding my fic into your list. As for the pictures, glad it turn ok since... drawing turians is hard.

I do stumble across a few smut fics that are in character, once in a full blue moon and yes I agree they are beautiful when handle properly.

As for bad movies. I love talking about them. Don't know why but I've always enjoy nitpicking it with my friends. And Airbender is no exception. I've watched two reviews of Airbender movie from the Spoony Experiment and The Cinema Snob. The reaction from them were hysterical when they mention the infamous "banana" hair. Although they do admit it was so bad that it's not even remotely fun in a MST kind of a way like Battlefield Earth. The sad part is this movie is even worse than Eclipse and it's made by M. Night Shamylan. As Spoony sums up "That's Hemingway despressing man..."

Despite the awfulness, me and my friend are still planning to see it when it comes out in Australia two months later. I know, that's crazy but that's how I roll.
