I've watched two reviews of Airbender movie from the Spoony Experiment and The Cinema Snob.

I was hardcore at the Spoony forum for a while, just like I am here now.  I gotta get back there...I especially enjoyed the "flame" thread--reading, not participating :P
I've got to see his review.  His playthrough of "E.T." for Atari 2600 while on cold medicine is one of my most treasured internet memories.

edit: sorry, not cold medicine, wisdom tooth removal pain meds. LOL

Well, I'm going to take your word for it, Raga.:innocent:

*Checks over buggirl's page*

Awww... thanks for adding my fic into your list. As for the pictures, glad it turn ok since... drawing turians is hard.

I do stumble across a few smut fics that are in character, once in a full blue moon and yes I agree they are beautiful when handle properly.

As for bad movies. I love talking about them. Don't know why but I've always enjoy nitpicking it with my friends. And Airbender is no exception. I've watched two reviews of Airbender movie from the Spoony Experiment and The Cinema Snob. The reaction from them were hysterical when they mention the infamous "banana" hair. Although they do admit it was so bad that it's not even remotely fun in a MST kind of a way like Battlefield Earth. The sad part is this movie is even worse than Eclipse and it's made by M. Night Shamylan. As Spoony sums up "That's Hemingway despressing man..."

Despite the awfulness, me and my friend are still planning to see it when it comes out in Australia two months later. I know, that's crazy but that's how I roll.

Let me guess you like mystery science threater 3000? didn't you?

"Garfield entered the room with a manly strut ready to take on supernovas."

Epic!

@Nerjuna
I agree reading reviews for really bad movies is a fun hobby of mine. One of my favorites for The Last Airbender said that it had "all the mystery and magic of a bologna sandwich." I also read a review for something....I think it was a Uwe Bol movie where all the critic had to say was "MY EYES! MY EYES! IT BURNS!" Seriously if anyone has not done this, they should try it at once. Reviews for epically bad movies are hilarious.

Nerjuna - you're Australian!!!??!!  I bow my head in admiration of your superior drawing skills - and that's not just because you're a fellow Aussie.
I love movies and went through a phase of trying to see as many bad movies as I could about 15 yrs ago, sadly, now that I'm a seasoned movie goer I generally avoid the bad ones, saving them for DVD (however I do see them occasionally - my partner has terrible taste in movies at timesPosted Image).
Some of the fanfics I've read, Garrus is a connoisseur of bad movies, I can totally see it.

He was in that Acceptable Losses fic. I think he got Shep to watch something that involved surfing elcor if I remember right.

For my money, elcor doing anything (or nothing) = win. But surfing?? THAT would be a great Garrus date, watching that movie. :D

Surfing elcor? Hmmm and I thought the Talimancer discussion on romeo and Juliet remake elcor style was funny! (another 14 hours unforgettable experience!)

@ Andaius: Oh yeah, I love MST3k. I was sad they don't make those anymore, at least there's rifftrax and Spoony.

Speaking of Spoony, he did a quick review of ME2 a while back. While he explain that the game was good, it's interesting to see him revealing that he doesn't usually play as the 'bad' guy in RPGs. The ME series is one of those things he enjoys playing as a Renegade due him having the choice to play as a well intention extremist, instead of the usual kick the puppy sort of thing, but that doesn't stop him from doing a 'spartan kick' at the merc during Thane's recruitment quest. He did admit that kicking him was 'unreasonable'.

I agree, Raga. Watching bad reviews is fun. My favourite bit in Eclipse review by Spoony, is when that girl kisses the werewolf guy, he literally screams at the screen in the middle of the cinema, yelling "But... but that b*tch is f*cking with him! She's f*cking with EVERYONE!"

And the Cinema Snob pointing and laughing at the "banana" hair in Airbender, like immature little boy who giggles at a single swear word when he first hear it, is quite amusing too.

I always feel rotten getting Garrus sick there. But he's such a trooper. I can't not bring him.

from Curse of the Eldar machines...
Inspector Vakarian summed up the general feeling for the others best, perhaps: “Shepard, you are a fine chap and a gentleman besides. But having seen what I’ve seen, I couldn’t say the same of myself if I showed the white feather now. I’m your man.”

Awwww... thanks. Guess it's worth while to practice my skills right when I was kid. ^_^

As for Garrus being a coccnoisseur in bad movies, I can totally see it as well. It would be even more awesome if he pulled a Spoony or Cinema Snob.

*Garrus and Shepard are watching "The Last Airbender" in the theatre. As they struggle to watch it through when the character steps into the screen, with a strange hairdo. His mandribbles opened slightly as he started to laugh in a childish way, nudging Shepard while pointing at the screen."

Shepard: What Garrus? I'm trying to watch...

*Shepard's eyes were widen, when she realised why he was laughing. Then they were both snickering while trying not to make any sort of noise that might get the audieance attention*

Shepard: Oh my god... is that...

Garrus: Definately. It's a banana hair.

That's the Lovecraft thing from Buddha? The Reapers really do fit Lovecraft well, don't they? In fact, seems I recall a dev pretty much flat out saying that's where they got the idea from.

yes, Lovecraft fits in with ME 1's story so good it's creepy. Buddha is going to take ME 2 story into the FF too  I think.

He's up to chapter XIX now so if yo uhaven't started readign it you have some catching up to do! :) The story line is ME 1's so it will be very familar. ^_^
