Wait...who had banana hair in The Last Airbender?

A woman with the white hair. I can't remember what her name was, but when she was first introduce at the beginning, the lighting seem to change in a slightly fleshy colour, with that shape... well you get the idea. It's pretty easy to miss since that silly unintentional moment only last like a few seconds.

Edit: Oh dear I don't have much Garrus pictures on this laptop, Looks like I have to rush into my PC. I'll be right back.:bandit:

Speaking of Thane, I had posted this snippet a while ago in the Thane thread, I know it's not Garrus related, yet still funny lol.

Uwe, the Moon Spirit?  Oh dear, I don't remember the Banana Spirit sacrificing his life so she could live...:P

And I ain't a-seein' it again.  NO way.  I'll take your word for it!

I figure I'll be out at my dad's place in the boonies at 3 AM on some godforsaken night with no computer and no phone and it will come on HBO. At that point I'll watch it, maybe.

I was thinking about Garrus's loyalty mission earlier, and I have to say it's extremely well done. It's probably my favorite loyalty mission in ME2, infact one of my favorite missions in the whole game. The dialog in the car before facing Sidonis and after dealing with him (I save him every time) is brilliant. Garrus is probably the best friend Shepard has.

Oh my gosh. I'm reading a spectacularly bad fanfic right now. Not even gonna say what the subject is. It's just THAT bad. I can't look away!! o_o (and no I'm sure it's none of you)

On a Garrus-related note, I'm glad I won't have to be without my Garrus fix for my vacation. You all will just have to put up with me. ;)

I really love that conversation in the car.  Very real, very heartfelt and interesting.  And the whole mission is just great.  I truly think it's one of the best in ME2, along with Tali's.

I agree with this completely.  Returning squaddies stole the show.  When everybody had their LM crisis I felt intrigued.  When Tali and Garrus had theirs I felt engaged.

"Run all you want Harkin, we'll find you!" Yeah, its probably my favorite as well.  I let Garrus kill Sidonis every time.  It's funny one of the news vids say there aren't any suspects for Sidonis' murder and Garrus gruffly says "what a shame".

Curse of the Eldar machines...

Wresting Miss Williams from where she had been pinioned, I had opportunity to look back to the good lieutenant. I saw his carbine torn from his grasp and he grappled with several Cossacks, getting the worse of the struggle with his more robust and hysterical opponents. I would have attempted to hurry to his aid, but he turned his eyes to meet mine, and produced a hand-grenade from his threadbare uniform coat. Over the din I heard his piteous cry:

“Shepard! For the love of God, run! It’s your only chance, there’s nothing you or anyone can do now!”

Playing Galaxy of Fantasy too much eh?

I've haven't looked at the front page of the ff.net in the ME sub-section but now I feel tempted to take a look at it. Same goes to the masskink site. No need to tell me what it is... I'll go and take a look.

The ending to Garrus' loyalty mission when playing as a paragon seem to be fine by me. Some people might find it rushed but to me after going through more wild mass guessing and trying to read through the subtext, I think it's well made, especially Garrus gave that quiet but unsettling stare at the camera while doing a retrospect reflection.

I know this is OT so I apologize in advance. Tell me honestly guys, did you guys dislike Jacob on your first playthrough? Do you remember what your opinion of him was the first time? Cause I don't really remember much. I remember being put out by femshep's tone and I remember getting a little panicky over the word "fraternization." I also remember really admiring the guy on his LM because he is the only squaddie who doesn't shoot of his own volition. All the others: Garrus, Mordin, Miranda, Jack, you have to talk down. Jacob makes the paragon choice all on his lonesome. I remember pre-release I actually thought the guy looked mildly interesting. I was more interested in Thane however. I'm just wondering how much the Jacob hate groupthink has infected people. Even if you found him somewhat distasteful, did that distaste increase once you got on the forums? How many of you have gone through a Jacob romance? Was your first knowledge of what the romance contained from forum posts and youtube vids? I remember thinking he was boring and not someone I wanted to romance, but I don't think I started actively disliking him until I got on the forums.

Nah, I actually liked Jacob on my first playthrough (except for the godawful dialog on Femshep but I can ignore that) and I actually really liked his loyalty mission because of how he reacted and didn't try to make excuses for his father's actions. I was pretty surprised when I logged on here the first time and saw all of the hate thrown at the poor guy. Sure he isn't the most interesting squaddie you recruit, but he isn't that bad.

Also the dialog during his romance was very amusing.

edit: But he does have the "cuttle-bone" comment does a pretty good job of pissing off two other LIs, and the reccomendation of spacing Legion. So that is like four characters with a huge fanbase.

I always read the spoilers. I read the Retribution spoiler thread in Clan V, and looked it up on the Wiki several hours ago. The Wiki info wasn't complete when I last checked though. I'll definitely buy it and read it myself, but I have to wait until the stores have it. I had to check the stores a few times to find Revelation too.

I don't know, but I'm sure I will hear plenty of "Tali-isms", since I'm going for Quarian Sympathizer this time around. ;)
Question: If I don't have Liara yet, does Garrus (or whoever) still recommend I bring her to Noveria? :?

Our current playthroughs are very similar then. xD Get Quarian Sympathizer, leave Liara until last because she made us restart, and try to remain romance-less until ME2. (And did you do Feros first too?

Yes!
Omigosh!  It IS like looking into a mirror!!

It's because our avatars are doppelgangers. xD That's awesome. (Well, except the part about Liara.)

@Ragabul: Actually, I don't hate Jacob at all. My first opinion of him was that he seemed like a nice guy, and someone Shepard could get along with. Then when I talked to him on the Normandy with MainShep, it worried me that the conversations had so many responses that sounded flirty. I just couldn't find any good options to talk to the guy, so I stopped talking to him.

And one of the few things my Shepards agree on is taking the Renegade/Neutral/any option that will kill Jacob's father on his loyalty mission, so his Paragon approach would only annoy them. I really didn't like the option to let him shoot himself though. It's just not in character for my Shepards to let him have a gun, but sometimes it's more in character than leaving him there. Shepard #7 needs a Renegade interrupt when Jacob goes to hand his father the gun, to stop him and then shoot the guy himself. That would be perfect for him.

I don't read those kind of fanfics though. xD Or look at that kind of art. Actually, I've never even looked in that thread.
