Oh and I post there all the time and my stuff is true crap. Its really really crappy.

There's a lot of great art made by people on the forums. Garrus and Shepard both look so realistic. I doubt I would be able to draw even an anime-style turian. (Awesome turian biotic kid Calix will live on in my imagination. I'm the only one who knows what he looks like. xD)

I just read the last chapter of Grand Escapades. If Titanium Man is still around, tell the Garrus thread when you finish Chapter 6!

Thanks! I might upload a 'details' close-up of their faces, maybe also showing the spot where she ripped off her Cerberus patch. xD

On the topic of complexes, other artists make me seriously envious too. I remember seeing Ghostfire's Garrus/FemShep picture and just feeling crappy about mine. It's just so pretty, o_o

On another note, have you guys seen this Garrus costume on flickr? I don't know if it's finished yet, but it looks amazing so far! I want one.

I get very impressed with artwork that manages to get Garrus' face right. It's not an easy thing to do.

Oh wow that costume is amazing - the detail on the armour is spot on.

Getting turian faces right isn't easy at all, but they're way more fun than humans, IMO. I think the textures on turian skin are the most fun thing to do ever. I almost wish I'd flipped it so I could do more of his face that wasn't covered by bandage (or rocket marks). Oh well, maybe next time.

@Buggirl70: I know, right? And the sniper rifle! I must have a Garrus sniper rifle. ::foams:: I really want to see that costume fully finished. I wonder if they'll get special cosplay stilts to do the turian feet or just go natural since armored Garrus' legs are bulkier? I wish I could do that sort of thing. I have zero talents for building or sculpting, though.

I wish there had been a Garrus in that awesome ComiCon skit. When I saw it I kept hoping, but alas, he was not there.

That was awesome. That Grunt costume continues to amaze me. How many people actually go for full-functionality in those types of costumes?

I loved the Garrus references in that video (as well as the other videos that user uploaded). They had a couple Garrus + Shepard spraypaints on walls, too.
