However, I still think even when Garrus goes renegade there with "I never would have though of that" that he is kinda implying he is impressed with what Shep did. I always got that vibe from paragon Garrus in ME1. He is genuinely impressed by Shep being a paragon. He's just never met a paragon that both gets the job done and has good reasons for doing what they do. I think it blows his mind a little.

IIRC he's also impressed if you choose the Renegade answer, because either one will let the workers leave.
Edit: Ha, my video was from the Renegade PT xD lol. I think, Paragon option was telling them to find a new job.

Yea, but sometimes you get some paragon points mixed in with renegade for doing a paragonish thing in a renegade way.  You can just shoot them there if you want.  The point is he was impressed you found a way to think outside the box without just bulldozing your way in.  Wrex grumbles that it would faster to just shoot them.  But Garrus always acts like not shooting them is a good thing.

As Raga said, I think Garrus expected people who leaned on the "paragon" way of things to be incompetent or too bogged down in regulations, to really get anything done.

Will Garrus's face heal enough to dispense with the bandage by ME3's time, or is that permanent?

General hope seems to be that the bandages will be ditched for ME3.  Most people seem to want the scars to remain however.

I noticed that this was more the case in ME2 than ME1......

My Shepard would have just spent the resources to fix Garrus' face - with that facial reconstruction thing Chakwas introduced. The scars do look badass though.

That device may have been meant for human faces... or at the very least not meant for dextros.

Paragon/renegade points aside, Garrus still never outright advocates shooting the workers there.  At least not in any instance I have ever seen.

I think lack of scars would mean his romance scene wouldn't be nearly as powerful.  I think it is very symbolic.  Like a permanent reminder of what happened on Omega.  I think it suits him.

Garrus looks at new bandage in his hand, then at mirror reflecting his face with the scars. Shep enters.
Garrus: Whether i wear this bandage or not, my face will always remind me of my own failure.

They should have had squad mates simply speak their mind. I can see why they did the paragon and renegade on Shepard's shoulder thing, but I don't think they should have done that. I wonder what Garrus would have genuinely done with the Rachni Queen, or the Council.

Yea, I agree completely. I imagine that Garrus would be frustrated that Sidonis had gotten the last laugh.

Sorry about the previous post guys, still getting used to posting from my new toy. But I just wanted to express my admiration for Dani's work, I remember it when all it was a sketch of Sheps face in the Kasumi dress.

I love the turian formal wear it's awesome!

To be honest, I'm glad we'll never know that. Personally, I think, that's the reason why Shepard is teamleader because s/he can deal with such decisions. Garrus was still blaming himself that his team died. A true leader never shows such emotions to anyone. My opinion though.

As much as I love nearly all characters in the game, I think, none of them would have been able to make certain decisions on their own.

On the Council, I think paragon Garrus would want to save them. I think renegade Garrus would not. I have absolutely no idea whatsoever on the Rachni queen though.

Well, I'd had at least liked commentary from the squad mates that didn't have to do with who Shepard had in the squad.

I thought there was. I didn't have Kaidan with me but when talking to him after Noveria, he said that he'd rather let the Council decide about the Rachni queen. But I agree, I wish, that all squaddies would have had comments about the missions.

I agree.  Fortunately, there are other areas where the squaddies do seem to have immutable opinions that let you gauge their personalities.  On their personal missions and dialog for instance.   It's just nobody can guess what the heck they thinking for the main missions.

Yes - for Kaidan etc you did get a bit of feedback. However during the mission themselves, they'd comment depending on who you have on the squad, which is the wrong idea IMO.

Even if you didn't take kaiden and ash with you, they had something to say about every main mission if you talk to them on the normandy. I liked that a lot and wished the alien members offered their opinion like that too.

I agree. I wished, they had included that option for ALL squadmembers, once back on the Normandy. I would of liked that.
