You speak blasphemy! Nobody can resist the Mordinator!
Especially when he's in his radiant speedo of absolute heroism.

Hahaha! It's a good thing you spared him THE picture...
...Maybe I shouldn't have said that.
Concerning asari manipulating people's minds, I dunno, it doesn't strike me as all that problematic. I mean, there's nothing in ME1 to suggest that other species see them the same way as humans do. I'm not sure why it would seem more implausible in ME2.

Dang it, Nil, you just had to bait her about the speedo didn't you?
And actually, I wish that thing with the asari WAS an official explanation as I like it way better than the real asari. If that was true I would find the asari 475% more believable and interesting. The main reason I think it isn't the case is because most of the other stuff right there is pretty obviously for lulz. Pretty much everything in that whole bar is for lulz actually.

Naw, I'm pretty sure there is a giant legion of salivating Liara fans out there who like asari just fine. But me, I like my sci-fi hard.:pinched:

am I really the only one here who has no problems with Asari whatsoever? *looks around and then sits in corner to play with crayons*
I don't hate asari, but they're definitely not my favourites. The krogan hold that title in my case. /me loves those giant... things.
So, let's talk about turians.

Samara and the Bartender made me actually like the asari. But they are still my least favorite race in the setting so far.Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...

Yes, I did, and I swear I didn't really mean it that way and didn't notice it until after I typed it. But once I noticed I couldn't bring myself to take it back.

Liara: "Oooooo, Shepard, you're so strong and mysterious and sexy. My species is totally not promiscuous, but did I mention that I'm a virgin and that I don't mind threesomes?"
*swoons*
Samara:
*zips her suit open just a liiiiitle lower and runs her hand seductively and obliviously down her chest*
"I am justice personified. Your curiosity is appreciated, Shepard, and I never imagined I could be touched by someone so young...
...But it cannot be, you horny bastard/b****, now go away."
And they even have a genetic condition that basically amounts to sex addiction + murder. Now TRY to tell me that they're not promiscuous.
I mean, really?
It's a good thing turians aren't like that!
(see what I did there?)

I see you are making up for our lack of understanding in other areas. Here, I assure you, I get it. Is it not funny that I DIDN'T get it in the NSFW thread and here I do?

I would take a guess and say its very Samurai like about service to house/family over yourself. Since the culture is very civil service based. I can see the schools being about honor above all else, honor your family, your name and your people.

Save editing allows you to do the Citadel security check after meeting the Council, which gives you some extra dialogue with the turian C-Sec officer at the check-in gate. As it turns out, Pallin was killed in the Battle of the Citadel, which is the reason why Chellick is now Executor. Garrus notes that Chellick being Executor is "safe, but not the choice I'd have made."
