I knew Pallin had died. Someone probably mentioned that bit of dialogue before somewhere. But I don't think it was him in that turian ship that Sovereign ploughed through.

I found something on the forum you people might find interesting.

Save editing allows you to do the Citadel security check after meeting the Council, which gives you some extra dialogue with the turian C-Sec officer at the check-in gate. As it turns out, Pallin was killed in the Battle of the Citadel, which is the reason why Chellick is now Executor. Garrus notes that Chellick being Executor is "safe, but not the choice I'd have made."

Hey, this is really interesting. Some peeps speculated about this in the old thread, because one of the news reports spoke of 'Executor Chellick', which made us wonder about Pallin. And there is the confirmation that Pallin is indeed dead.

Since boot camp begins at age 15, I'm gonna guess that turian schooling is highly focused on "practical" stuff. I don't think you're gonna see many turian marching bands. I think there would be an emphasis on getting the basics of practical reading, writing, math, technology application, language, and the like down. I bet there would probably be some kind of focus on trying to find a niche for people as well. Aptitude testing and so on to try and figure out what each kid is best at. I don't think kids would have certain paths forced on them, but I think they would certainly be encouraged to find a path in which their particular skills were put to most use for society. I think they would have some emphasis on sports though. As turians value the military so much I think there would be an emphasis on physical fitness and conditioning. So no marching bands, but clawball and track and field? Definitely.

I wonder why Bioware took it out? I mean it obviously still executes properly.

They may have decided to keep Pallin alive for something else in the future, or just took it out because it didn't mesh well with whatever.

I smell a blooper. If he's alive, how come Chellick took over as Executor of C-Sec?

Doesn't Retribution also say that asari bleed red, when they bleed purple in ME2?

I R le confused.

As for turian schools, I can definitely see a big focus on physical activities as well as a separation into different specializations early on. So the children can capitalize on whatever it is they're proficient at.

Also, considering the importance of personal freedoms, I can imagine campus life getting pretty wild outside of classes.

Pssh Retribution.

Am I the only one who'd love to see some alien kids in the next ME? Not because I'm the motherly type, I just want to see baby/toddler/child aliens. All they ever do is talk about that baby "HE'S ALL I HAVE LEFT OF JACOOB" yadda yadda.

It might be pretty funny if there was a mission with lots of kids in it and then have some funny conversations with your LI.

"So Garrus which one do you want?"

"What?"

"Come on let's take one with us, no one'll notice."

"Shepard are you.."

"I'm just pulling your leg."

"Thank god."

Tali foot rubs is a rather common theme, isn't it? (correct me if I'm wrong, just going on observation)
= wonder if Garrus would like a foot rub? I know he's got at least 2 volunteers already...! ;)

Count me in as one more volunteer XD

I'll try one with Garrus too, but I heard it messes up his jaw.

If a working-jaw Garrus were made available to players, I think the entire thread here and all PC-Garrus fans would burst into a chorus of rejoicing :3

That said, thank you for sharing your current work!  I hope you do find the time to work on Garrus - it'd be wonderful, that's for sure, and I know we'd all appreciate your efforts.

Dead Pallin = do not want. :(

Having said that, is he alive or not? I don't remember what Retribution said about him.

I think Ray Joel Oh got it to work at some point, but she hasn't been around for a long time. She was the creator of Zombie!Garrus.

@ danitiwa: Modding the game to play with Garrus as Shepard tends to screw up Garrus' face.

IIRC, Ray Joel Oh got it to work by sticking Garrus!Shepard in his Alternate Appearance Pack outfit. That seemed to screw up his face a lot less than his other two outfits.
