Garrus looks like some type of predatory bird.

No offense btw.

I think that's partly what they were going for. In the first ME book, Anderson compares Turians to birds.

I don't see the difference between Skittles and BK's voice.

You don't think the Garrus fandom is crazy?

Boy, you ain't been lookin' hard enough.

Oh, they're ****ing crazy.

But they're so damn cool about it.

I know! They're a lot of fun.

Everyone loves the Garrus fans.

The Tali thread does. I have seen Garrus fans getting a bad rap, though. They just cannot comprehend their magnificience, I suppose.

We love you crazy cool folks.

Don't you think they should be a little bendy, otherwise how could they sleep in any kind of normal bed?
If not, what do you think their beds resemble? We don't see any normal bed for Garrus, so we must speculate....

They look moderately flexible to me. But probably not enough to sleep on. I always thought turians may be prone to using headrests rather than pillows. Either that, or sleep on their side. That would bypass the fringe problem.

Not for Saren though. Posted Image

On a topic that was broached earlier, I just came across something interesting. When you talk to Aria about her history with Patriarch, she says that she bested him because his men got used to certain "advantages" of working with asari and abandoned him in droves. She mentions that it was because of "skills that my people try to downplay". What if she's referring to the "mind control" abilities they talk about at the bachelor party? Because I don't see anything else that asari would downplay that could be advantageous to them in a situation like that. Everyone knows about their mating habits. But the fact that they could be able to manipulate minds doesn't seem like common knowledge.

Yes, I know that the bachelor party is largely tongue-in-cheek. But it would actually be interesting if they did think about integrating that detail into the storyline.

I think she did mean asari promiscuity and sexual prowess.  Lot's of asari do try to downplay it.  Remember how Liara went on about how her people really weren't promiscuous even though they are?  Somebody was talking about this just earlier.  I think it may even have been you.  About how the asari really are hyper-sexualized even though they try to pretend they aren't.

As for fringes, I think they are kinda bendy.  I've said before I think a turian's plates aren't completely rigid.  More like hard stiff leather.  I expect they might be able to shift the fringe a bit too, maybe spread it out a bit or something.  Dunno.

As for turian beds, don't some of those dead turians in apartments on Omega have standard beds in their places.  Not much evidence I admit as it is just game mechanics, but it's better than nothing.

Turian plates definitely move. I'm fairly certain I saw Garrus' 'lips' curling when he said certain words in ME1. But I don't think fringe is as bendy as leather. I'd say more like a reinforced plastic, where it has just the tiniest bit of give.

Yeah, we're like a snail compared to your thread :P. Thanks for dropping by, come back anytime you want ;)

Regarding turian beds, wasn't it confirmed by someone that they sleep in normal beds? It was either in one of the books or on CDN... but it could be that my memory is fuzzy.

I liked the "eyebrow" movement that I saw in Garrus' recruitment mission. It fascinates me.
