I refuse to believe female turians exist.

Female turians get their talons painted ble so in case they get in a fight with other females the blood won't show. ;)

Over what are they fighting? Who gets a date with Garrus, of course! XD

Female Turians in ME1 and ME2 were absent because they were all getting their friinges done.

The third book suggests that we'll be seeing them soon.

Hell, it's about time. There was a lot of turian stuff on CDN too. I hope that's some kind of foreshadowing for ME3.

Ah yes "females" the supposed second gender of about half a dozen races, that have supportive waists. Ah we have dismissed such claims.

Sten: Where are the female turians? You said there would be female turians! The female turians are a lie!

While all the female turians all getting a pedicure on Palaven, Garrus got stuck with a blue paint overwash.

@ Xsause: Posted Image I love that Zaeed is the only one reading a book. He's about the last person I can imagine reading.

...No, wait, that would be Grunt.

Mordin tweeting his old STG teammates FTW. I wish we'd gotten a message from Kirrahe if he lived in ME1. Especially after his "We'll work together again, I'm sure of it" conversation back on the Normandy.

I didn't even know Kirrahe could die in ME1. It always irritated me that they lived, but we couldn't save Ashley.

Anyway... Garrus.

Kirrahe I would love to have on my team.

"HOLD THE LINE!" I can imagine him shouting this while fighting reapers for some reason.

Kirrahe dies if you fail to complete all of the tasks you're given on Virmire to "lighten the load" for the salarian team. Ashley/Kaidan will yell that he's down and take command of the squad. If Kirrahe dies, Mordin won't mention that he's a bit of a cloaca when he talks about him in ME2, instead saying that he was a great captain and that he's sad he died in the attempt to destroy Saren's facility on Virmire.

Kirrahe survived in all of my playthroughs as well. His epic "hold the line" speech made me want to save him no matter what.

So yeah, Garrus.

That looks like old Garrus. I think he's got a cane in his right hand there.

I posted this thought a while back but never got any nibbles. I read in a fic I like Shep was looking at the bandages on Garrus' face and she idly wondered if he really needed them. As in, are they there because the wound won't heal if he doesn't keep it on or are they still there because he basically looks like turian Terminator and he doesn't want to take them off. Now I freely admit that is really angsty and probably not the case. But the possibly made me sad. What do you guys think of that idea?

I agree... I don't resent that I saved him, just that I lost Ashley.  If that makes sense?

I didn't answer because I don't know.   I can't answer your question since I haven't thought that far ahead for both of my Shep's fics, yet.  Though I should for Paragon, since it takes place after ME2.

Yeah, it makes total sense. Sorry, didn't mean to be "KIRRAHE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ASHLEY", because that's not true.

And yeah, DAT turian.

Every time I replay ME2, or watch videos of it, and get to the point where Shephard catches up with Garrus on Omega, I tear up a little seeing him worn but given some new hope and uninjured.  He has all these scars on the inside that are now going to be etched onto his face within the next half hour.  I'm not sure what the extent of Garrus' implants would be.  Maybe it would be something like with Saren, where they're largely internal but some of them can be seen externally?

That really is an excellent pic. I have no idea who I stole it from. My Kaidan pics all come from the same person, but I don't know where that one came from. If anyone knows, please tell me.

I think his scars are probably pretty bad. I think there is definitely some visible metal. To me, them pointing out that he will still have "full functionality" means that was actually in question for a while. I think there's a good chance his jaw on that side and his ear were blown out. Wouldn't surprise if they had to replace part of the joint and add some kind of aural implant. Now the aural thing is probably internal. If you look at those models from earlier, the bandages actually go down along his neck as well. I can't recall if that is the case in the actual game. Anyway, my point is I think the damage is extensive and I think it does bother him if for no other reason than it is a constant reminder of Omega. I don't think he is hung up on his looks, but I highly doubt he is neutral or pleased about it either.

Agreed, I think it would just be another painful reminder to him about things he probably wishes went over better.  I'm wondering if the bandages will be removed in ME3...I hope so, I want to see what's there. Poor guy's got a heart of gold and he'll look like a terminator or something.  Granted, this is supposed to be the 22nd century; if they can rebuild Shepard to not look like a zombie, they can damn well have Garrus look as he did before that stupid damned gunship.  (Shoulda torn the engine apart or something while you were there, Shep. D; ).  Maybe that'll be an option, unless Garrus is the type who would end up saying 'nah, I'll keep them.'  For whatever reason.

I think they could fix him up. But you also have to figure that Cerberus dropped multiple billion credits into Shep and her implants still aren't spot on as renegade Shep needs extra equipment to fully heal. Really expensive equipment. And even if tech exists to fix Garrus up, which I'm sure it does, the guy is such a trooper that he would never ask for it. I don't think it'll be so bad that he looks like a cyborg or something, but I do imagine some visible metal. I wonder his father might have to say about that given how he got the scars and that he was worried that he might "become just like Saren."
