That pic reminds me of Final Fantasy NES walking sprites.

Aimo is such a talented artist. She even did a collaboration comic with David Gaider.

Yup, she's really awesome. I wonder if she'd ever consider doing any animation?

eta:  Thread about Garrus-between-ME1-and-ME2-time.  Seems relevant to this crowd. ;)

Huh, we sorta all moved into Clan V today. It's kinda funny how sometimes the thread is dead and sometimes Clan V is dead. We hop all around.

I think it's depends how off-topic we go.

Speaking of Garrus, I've been trying to do what Ray Joel Oh's instructions on making Garrus playable. And it came out like this:

Alexine, that is horrifying. As in, you should write a Lovecraftian story about it immediately.

Okay, I used flycam to watch the turian dancer in Thane's mission... And he is glorious.

It's like, there are those silly humans and asari doing their thing, and the turian's off to the side leaning on the bar all cool and then he's like. "Back up. This is how it's done." And then he totally pwns them.

I'm making a video of just him dancing, but it didn't pick up the audio so I have to put in some different music.

Behold, the Techno Turian.

I wish the quality was higher, but I was having some issues uploading. :(

Good night, kglaser.  And good to see you, Pedpickle.  And techno turian is awesome.   You can't loose with cargo pants, lol.

G'night, kglaser!

@Ragabul: Yeah, his outfit is pretty awesome. I'm surprised so many turians used the model for Garrus' ME1 armor, though. I didn't see nearly as many in civilian garb in ME2 as I did in ME1.

Retribution is mine! >:D This book was almost as illusive as TIM himself.

And the first thing I saw when I returned to the Garrus thread was a close-up video of the dancing turian. :D That is so awesome.

@Ragabul: Now that you mention metal under his bandages, I wonder if we will see Saren-stye cybernetics on his jaw/mandible. I've been wondering if Saren had them from an injury, since they're on the cover of Revelation before his Sovereign implants

Wow Kim, I can't believe I never thought about that before...he doesn't even find out about Sovereign until the end of the book, and he has that stuff on his face and body on the cover already.  I wonder what happened?
*cough* Sarenprequel *cough*

(By the way, so far the Saren poll is 36-22 in favor of a Saren prequel of some kind.)

Yeah, I really studied that picture on the Revelation cover for differences, and there are a few - the lack of geth arm, glowing lights in his head, and a small difference to the side fringe - but most of him was the same. A lot of the things that make him different, he was either born with or was a result of something that happened in his life pre-Sovereign.

I'm glad so many people want to know more. :) And I'm really glad they made Revelation too. I always want to know more about my favorite characters, what made them the way they are, but most of the time it remains unknown. It's just another thing that makes BioWare so great. (Please BioWare, more Saren... and DLC released on disc.)

Um...wow. That's mesmerising. I had to download it and watch it four or five times to stare at his hips for science.

There is only one logical conclusion:

ME3 must feature dancing Garrus.

...I'll be in my bunk.

They should bring back the dancing in ME3. Obviously, there's no problem with the animations getting a turian to dance. That turian dances better than anyone in both games. xD

Haha, the reactions to the Mordin/Garrus picture I posted on BK's FB page crack me up. They're either "WTF?", "This is so much win!", or "But I wanted to do it with Mordin! D:"

I love you guys.

For no one else would I sit through frustrating render/conversion/upload times.

At least I had Dancing Turian to keep me company!
