I wrote it, and finished it. It can be found in my Clan V OT thread. Or on FF.Net.

Oh, I dunno...anyone can be a *little* insane. It takes a salarian genius to elevate it to an art form. XD

This is SO cool. Seriously. They really need to put the dancing in ME3 again... WITH Garrus!

Awesome, dancing turian has been added to the OP. :D It was necessary. And now we can watch him dance on the forums too.

Dancing hanar? ...Is anyone else thinking about that episode of Spongebob where he dances with the jellyfish?

Questions for the serious role players on here. So far I only have two main Shepards, canon colonist/war hero shepard and ruthless earthborn Shepard. I made the second just to do all the “bad” choices I wouldn’t normally make, sometimes I wish the choices weren’t so “A and B” because if I want to make, say a spacer/survivor, she’ll still be picking only two available choices in each main mission, since I’ve made them already (if that makes sense) I have a tougher time with the third or fourth play through.

What sucks is that there are so many classes, romances (later in ME2) and speech choices that I want to make alternative shepards very badly, I just wish there was that diversity with main mission choices. So Ideally I want my canon shep to be with Garrus (doi) and be an infiltrator because I frickin love that class, my evil douchebag shepard was made a soldier and is the fling type. So I want two more shepards one to be a sentinel and another to be either an adept or a vanguard (sorry engineers). One of them will romance Thane and the other one will romance kaiden. I was thinking;

All out paragon sentinel: No renegade interrupts at all, by the book completely, complete pacifist, so automatically feels attached to Kaiden because he is nice and safe. I was thinking of making this one a spacer/war hero just so there were zero hardships for this character, she doesn’t understand vengeance like her other team mates and is very naive to the harsh realities that they have faced . She’s a goody two shoes and doesn’t like to kill people, she picked the sentinel class because she wanted to be a healer and back up rather than be the one to fire a bullet. She will blindly pick paragon choices all the time.

Neutral vanguard/adept: This one I want to be a spacer/sole survivor. The hardship happened late compared to others which means the affects are still very present , everything this Shepard understood about being in the military was a lie to what the reality was like.  She is aloof, quiet and lacks emotion. This makes her very blunt and to the point with all the crew, almost robotic, she makes sure to keep her distance because she does not want to make friends and get attached again. She will pick mostly neutral options, as she doesn’t feel passionate about her role enough to fall at either end of the spectrum.  But when she finds out who killed her team, BOY does she start to care again, now she wants vengeance. So everything that isn’t Cerberus related she doesn’t care about, even the reapers. She falls in love with Thane because he fits her profile most, solitary, had his loved ones taken away unexpectedly, he also has a neutral approach to his killing, very much like this Shepard. So as choices ago, she will hit the middle one unless it has ANYTHING to do with cerberus, then its renegade.

What do you think?

For me, the easiest way to create so many different Shepards is to give them each their own history, personality, and opinions. None of them choose only Paragon or Renegade choices because of this, and my current MaleShep will actually end up with about 50% Paragon and 50% Renegade by the end of ME1. You do spend a lot of time thinking about your Shepards this way though. I'm still not completely sure about some of MaleShep's decisions... but maybe in the case of the genophage and quarian/geth debate, that's a good thing because his character isn't sure about it either. I think it's more fun that way, but everyone should play Shepard they way they want to. :)

My canon isn't completely paragon for this very reason. In the first game, there were instances where you could use intimidate to get the same positive result, so that would be the time I would respond as a renegade, only if I’m talking to bad guys though. For example, when you talk to that exo-geni douche you can use charm or intimidate, frankly I found the charm option unacceptable because this guy was prepared to have people die just for a cover up. I didn’t want to make a deal with this as*hole so I used intimidate instead, I didn’t kill him and the scientists still got their funds anyway. Also when talking to criminals I will not always talk as a paragon either, my canon believes in doing the right thing but that doesn’t mean she can’t bad mouth her rivals when she can.  Harkin is a great example that you can’t always respond like a paragon Posted Image.

So the rule of thumb for my canon in ME1 was, act paragon towards team and to people who were not bad guys or as*holes.  always choose the paragon path when making the main choices, if I intimidate it has to have the same positive result for the good guys as if I had picked charm and no one gets killed. So I wouldn’t have used intimidate on Conrad for example, one choice makes him go home happy while the other choice makes him have a mental breakdown.

ME2 became a slightly different story though.I've read here that ME2 made it very difficult for strict  paragon players to ignore those renegade interrupts Posted Image.  My reasoning for my mostly paragon Shepard to use them was that she had to get a bit more ruthless and responsive to situations than she did before, a tougher environment like Omega didn't give you time to weigh your options. That said there are still some interrupts I wouldn’t do. Most I do for tactical reasons, I'm going to fight cafka, that talkative Krogan, and those mercs on Miranda's mission anyway so why not even those odds. Shepard knows where those situations are going so she's just cutting to the chase whereas beating up mouse, pushing that merc out a window, knocking out that salarian, nope my Shepard wouldn't do those things.  I felt I was acting more renegade in a way that didn’t compromise my canon’s character.

Sounds like your canon Shep is a Paragade. :) Nice to the good guys, but tough on criminals.

I can't think of a good reason for my Shepards to beat up Mouse. Even the ones who are too evil to care still wouldn't do it in a public place like that. Maybe if they're really short-tempered... I have Shepards who will shove that merc out the window though. I don't remember the salarian-punching interrupt.

I'm still not sure which order MaleShep will do the stuff on Noveria. I might have to replay from the start of Peak 15, try to separate what he knows at the time from what I know by playing through it already, and really analyze his thought process in that moment.

Gah, I keep dying on Feros. I finally had to dial down the difficulty to get past the final stage. :(

I just want to finish so I can go back to the Normandy and have my next Garrus conversation! Pfft, frustrating....I mean I've played this level at least 4 times already, LOL.

My Paragon Shep ignored almost all the Renegade interrupts. But then she's insanely optimistic. Took out Elnora, though.

Hola! I've been lurking, but I'd like to show a little Garrus and Turian love. ^_^

Cerberus Daily News today had an interesting story. The lead engineer in the rebuilding of some important building on Taetrus was a female turian by the name of Naxus Ursinus. Is someone dropping hints, or am I fooling myself in my blind optimism?

WHEE.

EDIT: Now back to my insanity vanguard playthrough. <_<

I don't even remember where I left off with the squadmate conversations, but I'll be relieved if Ashley's next conversation involves her sister saying that Kaidan is cute. That means romance avoided. I forgot which "Investigate" options MaleShep talked with Tali about too, but I know I finished up the Tali/Garrus/Wrex conversations too early last time. I'll probably play more DAO before going back to figuring out Noveria. The need to replay is frustrating, even if MaleShep's decisions will be better off for it. D:

I know just about every named salarian! :D

His name's Telon. He pulls a gun on you when you open the door to get him and some salarian workers out. He's absolutely traumatized and says that he doesn't want to hurt you, but he will if you provoke him. The Renegade interrupt causes Shepard to knock him unconscious with a punch to the gut, after which he/she says "Hurt me? I hardly felt a thing.". Waiting the interrupt out makes him lower the gun and tell you "...Please, don't make me hurt you.", after which Shep explains his/her reason to be at the Dantius Towers. He faints right after.

This reminded me that I still have to finish reading those Taetrus news updates. I never check the CDN. xD

There have been a few mentions of female turians in the news. Retribution also has female turians. It would be nice if we got to see them in ME3.

I've been debating on whether or not I want to read the books. Er, buy them. I would totally read them if I didn't have to buy them. Poor college student and all that. But I would LOVE to see some female Turians. But YAY TAETRUS UPDATES!

Okay, NOW back to insanity vanguard playthrough. /sigh

Wow, I really can't remember which option I chose there... Poor salarian. MaleShep won't use the interrupt. He has some sympathy for traumatized people. (This is why I want him to meet that traumatized volus on Noveria. xD Noveria - so many choices, so confusing.)

@Icanhazsparklies: I like all three books. Revelation and Retribution have the most turian-related stuff (Revelation is more Saren-related).

Hey, I just want to show support for Garrus here! GARRUS IS MY BRO! XDDDD

I just realize something when he says, "...to think Sidonis can get away with this."

I noticed he seems to crack up alittle there. Poor Garrus. :(

Dancing turian GIF? Awesome. Total awesome.

I think the best thing about him is that he dances to pretty much any dance song. I just picked 'What Is Love' because it's so obviously the stereotypical club music. xD

@Hyrule_Gal: I only ever do straight paragon usually (though I did do a paragon-leaning paragade), but that sounds like a good way to go about it.

My paragons are always white knights. I guess ever since starting with KoTOR, I've taken the jedi philosophy to heart. Never an intimidation, never a renegade interrupt, never a bridge burned.

For my paragade, she's the type that's impulsive, so she goes for the interrupts every time regardless of type. She has a temper, but she doesn't have fun being cruel (she almost always charmed or gave people straight-talk as opposed to intimidating). She's kind of Garrus-ey, in that she'll also lean renegade and be harder on people when there are innocents involved, however she's straight paragon with people like the salarians in Thane's mission.

I've started renegade games multiple times, but I rarely get past the first mission or two. It's just so hard to be mean. :(

@Icanhazsparklie: Female turian engineer? YES PLZ. <3

EDIT:

@TheSweetGirl: Yeah, that was one of the most beautifully heartbreaking lines in that scene (of many heartbreaking lines), it's like the armor he keeps up is crumbling. That whole conversation was probably the most emotionally taxing in the game, IMO. It's obvious how broken he is in that moment. :crying:

I was just listening to a song on youtube, and then I saw dancing turian. His dance moves fit the song so well. xD

Is that line you guys are talking about from Garrus' Paragon loyalty mission?
