RE: Allergies
Is it weird that I'm WAY more put off by the certain mild discomfort presented in romancing Thane than the possible death resulting from romancing Garrus?
I guess it's all rationalization; they're not going to kill Shepard from anaphylactic shock. And if that was going to happen, it'd happen, fine. But the reasons presented as to why Garrus and Shepard would be more ammune to such allergies in regards to their career choices make a lot of sense. So to me when it's 'may happen' I can assume it won't, but when it's 'will happen', that's what turns me off. And having hallucinations every single time you kiss your boyfriend, even if it's a peck on the cheek and you lick your lips afterwards... That doesn't strike me as fun at all. Plus, the rash. Everywhere. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/uncertain.png[/smilie];;;
I'm still of the opinion (after some research) that, although it is possible, it would be rare for any sort of reaction, much less a severe one, to occur due to the nature of dextro and levo-amino acids interactions with the opposite
chirality biology...in short, that it doesn't. Heck, we consume stuff that has both chiralities present to no ill effect. I
recall someone mentioning that if it were a complex enough protein, it could theoretically cause a reaction, but those tend to not exist in nature...and the body will otherwise ignore an opposite chirality molecule. Once again, of course, the "possibility" always exists...

Then again, this is ME and I guess if they want to scrub rl, then they
will...but that tends to make for bad sci-fi. D;
But I do agree with you about Thane. ^^ Frankly, I don't find hallucinations and rashes very appealing, but that's just me and my preferences. I'll take body-oil massages/chafing and liquid-sugar/not-likely-allergic-reactions to guaranteed hallucinations and rashes. XD
But Garrus and Tali have maintained a dead heat percentage-wise for the majority of the contest. She's had at most 15 votes more than him but then he always catches up. I've only seen her at a full percent higher than him maybe three times, and only for a short while before it goes back to a tie. I think regardless of the handful of extra votes she might have, you could still say they're tied for the lead. :3
Haha, that's my hope that bw will just call it a draw. XD Perhaps we'll get two shirts out of this, then? :3

Do you think all these polls, the calibration memes and the fact that a huge amount of femshep players romance him will give Garrus more content than he previously had when they make ME3? I really hope so, it’s apparent that short changing Garrus like that upsets both types of Shepard players, both the ones that romance him and the ones that don’t . Compare his content with Tali’s (who got TONS of dialogue and attention for being popular in the previous game) and there really is no way to excuse it. My worry is that they are going to focus a lot on Liara as a romance only because of the some-what skewed feedback.
I don't count Liara as one of the highest romances for females only because the guys who make femsheps romance her because its "gay" and “weird” to romance a dude
That leads me to believe the majority of women don't like her the best even though the polls sometimes imply that, it’s mostly male influence.
I really, really hope BW gives Garrus more content in ME3, especially as it is the last game in the trilogy. Granted, I'm sure most fans of other characters would ask for the same for their own preferences. I'm of the opinion that they should just go all out with content. BG2 and most of BW's old games had awesome amounts of character content, and ME (and DA to a lesser degree) all seem almost shallow in comparison.
Perhaps it's because so many other parts of game design require more resources, but it's a damn shame having DEEP and MEANINGFUL character development and interaction get shunted in the process. When BW says they're going all out for ME3, I hope they mean it and won't pull another move like they did with ME2, what with a brand new squad and a few half-assed cameos. Granted, don't get me wrong, I am eternally GRATEFUL for Garrus...but I fear ME3 and what they might do to him. =/

Who do you think would win in a fight? ME1 Garrus or ME2 Garrus?
Both are at the max level. Their builds are up to you.
ME2 Garrus: Older and more experienced. ;p
