We've locked the group to newcomers, thus requiring acceptance, because of trolling and whatnot.

Ah, good point. Ok, sorry, ignore my comment then, I wasn't aware that the group got locked.

A lot of Sten's conversations are triggered by things in environments.  He will comment on something you encounter and then you get a chance to ask him about it later.  In other words, if you don't bring Sten with you a lot than you miss out on lots of converstation.

Ah ok, I wasn't aware of this either. I simply didn't have room for Sten or Oghren in my party until now, since I played a dual-wielding warrior Warden on both my playthroughs so far (basically played the same character when I switched to PC). Ie. I needed a tank, a healer and a rogue as my other squaddies. When I play a mage Warden, I'll be able to bring him along more.

@ Arterial: As for the ME1 DLC, I'd recommend Bring Down the Sky, but feel free to pass on Pinnacle Station. It does reward you with an easy way to get some Colossus armour and Rage armour for Wrex, as well as some high-tier omnitools and bio amps, but Pinnacle Station itself is boring and kinda pointless.

Yea, we do that sometimes.  It's okay so long as it only lasts for a few posts and we bring it back around to Garrus ASAP.  But yes, major OT is a problem.

And to answer a question asked earlier and to keep this OT, an upgrade I would love for Garrus is for him to get the Widow.  I would also like armor that has the loyalty armor paintjob minus the giant hole and the weird comm thingie.

Hello Fans of Brokarian!

Now you guys know how many of the ME2 characters get upgrades for them alone except for a few squad members.(Weapons or ability upgrades)

I belive these Characters Include Garrus, Tali, Jacob, Miranda, and Samara.(can include Zaeed and Kasumi)

What should Upgrades be for these Characters whether it is a unique weapon for them alone or a Stat boost. Try to give a suggestion for each Character. Or not....*shrugs*

.....?

Garrus' loyalty armor is definitely my favorite. Too bad he just painted his armor instead of buying new.

I always thought that was wierd that he never changed out of his armor although it has a giant hole in it.

SenHai, to be perfectly honest, I am not entirely sure what you are asking. You want us to give ideas for unique upgrades for those characters you have listed? Is that it?

Well, as I said, I'd like Garrus to get the Widow or some other very powerful sniper rifle. Jacob needs a "not boring" biotic amp upgrade stat. Tali is techy so some kind of tech grenade or ability to set mines or something might be kinda cool for her. With Mordin, I have no idea. Anything I can think of he kinda already has.

Some of us may be on then.  Some different people will be on then for sure.  We have irregular shifts, but there is usually at least one or two people on at any given moment.

I want Chitika Vas Paus to have arms with gatling guns and legs and an AI and can use biotic powers.

I love this pic. It's the combination of the rose and the t-shirt Posted Image

Yeah.  Can't Shepard afford to buy him some new armor?  You know, without holes in it?
Playing through ME2 again and just picked up Garrus.  I'm making more of an effort this time around to pay more attention to Garrus's character.  He is rather cool.  And I didn't notice before that he has blue eyes, right?  They're just little.  It makes a difference in being able to relate to him that he's younger than I originally thought.

Oh and question.  What's the point in the Garrus romance dialogue where he's "locked in?"

Well, you can turn him down at any point in the romance, so "locked in" is probably not entirely correct. But his "final" romance dialogue (the one that loops) has "I want a few moments that are just for us before we throw ourselves into hell for the good of the galaxy". After that, all that's left is the pre-Omega 4 scene.

But since that dialogue loops, you can always come back and turn him down at any point before the Omega 4 Relay.

So, yeah... don't do that.  Sad Garrus is heartbreaking.  And never choose the top dialogue choice:  it dumps him.

This. Very much so. I've only seen screenshots, and even that made me feel terrible.

You think that's bad? I dumped him on accident once.  I thought I'd be telling him, "No matter what happens, you're still my best friend."  What actually came out of Shep's mouth was, "Maybe we're better off as just friends."

Keener sounded like I shot his dog.

That's probably just as bad as Zev calling you "my love" when you dump him...

Still, I don't think anything can be worse than dumping Jack during the O4 sequence...That's gotta be the worst breakup of ME2.

But yeah, putting the "just friends" option as a top-right choice is a sneaky, sneaky move. I'm sure lots of people have broken up with their LIs by accident like that.

Yeah.  That is an odd move.  I wonder if it was on purpose or by accident.
I want to learn more about the character and sticking to the friends only options doesn't give you much.  But I just can't stand having a femShep cheat on Kaidan either.  But Garrus is her best friend.  She wouldn't want to hurt him either.

The solution: making a single FemShep just for Garrus!

At least, that's what I did. That way, my KaidanShep can remain cheat-free, and my GarrusShep can have her own fun Posted Image
