As for the topic of not liking asari, I think they would've been fine if they were not made for the purpose of being hot blue chicks and ****s. They looks far too human with squid legs for hair. But I do like some asari such as Aria, Samara and Atheyta (sp?) Just that the majority of them have nothing special or hook to them (Liara's character either creepy or boring).

As for the topic of either shirtless or turian females... I'm conflicted

EDIT:// YAY, First post!

It's the last game in the trilogy...can't we have both? Actually, I'd much rather have shirtless Garrus than a female turian in ME3...for the sole reason that ME3 is the last of the trilogy and BW plans on having other ME-related games. Since ME3 is the last in the trilogy, that likely means the last of Garrus ( T-T ), so I'd rather see more of Garrus. Let's find out what female turians are like in a different ME game.

The return of Fabulous Garrus. xD

Unfortunately, ME3 might be the last we see of the squadmates. I would like more games about Shepard, but I doubt it'll happen. That's part of the reason why I want a female turian romance option for MaleShep - because if there isn't, my poor Shepard #4 will never hook up with anyone in-game. (Of course, that's what imagination is for, pairing Shepard with characters who aren't an option like Saren.)

I wonder what future ME games will be like. It's probably safe to guess that they'll be awesome.

I personally hope for Mass Effect Origins. Then we can play as female turians. How awesome would that be?

Playing as the aliens of Mass Effect would be awesome. I would make many, many different characters, but more turians than anything else. I could make Calix the badass turian biotic kid! :D ...Just grown up, and without the awesome fringe and backstory, but he could have different awesome fringe and backstory in-game. I already expand on that sort of thing with my Shepards anyway.

I think there is a decent chance they might make an MMO of it as well.

Yeah, probably. They are making one for Star Wars, but I'm not even sure if my PC can play it. D: At least a Mass Effect MMO would be several years away. It looks like they're really going in the right direction with TOR.

I wouldn't mind a Mass Effect origins, but the MMO bit might be a bit too much. But I guess it's a personal thing.

And with future ME games, do you think they'll continue to import saves or start again?

Import saves from the Shepard trilogy? I'm not sure. Maybe if it's set afterwards, the big things that effect different species would matter, like the Council, quarians and the geth, the genophage - that would be cool.

I'm thinking like that too, the basic stuff (whom Shepard romanced, Council, Collector Base, etc) if they were doing a sequel. Or they could do a KOTOR II did and made you chose what had happened.

You just got me staring at Garrus's ass Alexine, I am having serious ME withdrawal now... I've yet to start up a new game.

I've only ever played online once, and that was a mistake, I totally sucked. having my butt kicked constantly was ego deflating and I've never wanted to play anything online since. However a ME universe I might be interested in.

Well, on the DA2 boards the devs have said they intend to have choices in DAO matter in future installations of DA and they made it sound like that extended beyond just DA2. I think expecting some kind of import tie in would not be unreasonable. Of course, they could also skip forward in time a hundred years or something or go back before Shepard was around yet just to have less direct tie-ins to Shepard to have to deal with.

Well, Collider told me that TOR has a single player campaign so an ME MMO likely would too. And for the record, I wouldn't vote for ME MMO either because I don't like multiplayer. I just think it has a decent chance of being made into one given how rich the setting is and that Bioware now has MMO experience.

I'm not sure if Shepard's choice of romance would matter, but I'm assuming it'll be a game long after Shepard is gone, because it would be strange to have another big thing happen and then not get Shepard involved if he/she is still alive. It would be nice to see the squadmates again, but then it would lead to, "Where's Shepard?"

I like what they're doing with Dragon Age, basically building a timeline along several games. If they did the same thing with Mass Effect, that would be awesome.

I don't really like MMOs, so I prefer something like Raga mentioned where we get to pick what ME race we play as and it's a single player game.

I hadn't touched it for months, but I'm now working on a new ME2 playthrough. I'm playing a Renegade soldier who will romance Garrus, which means, ::gulp:: Renegading him. I've never done that before. Even on my Paragade, she went straight Paragon with him because I didn't have the heart... Plus, I wanted the extra dialogue in his LM.

I'm not into MMO's either, but I'd seriously consider it if ME were implicated. :o

I'm well into my 4th complete playthrough of ME1, and I love role-playing my Shepard.  There's just so much thought involved in it.  The other times I just did whatever.  This time I might spend 20-30 minutes looking at how a scene evolves and ends, playing it over and over to get it just right, LOL.  (I can understand why people wouldn't find that fun at all...but I'm enjoying it!  It gives me the illusion of power over the situation.  Muahaha.)

WARNING: the following somehow turned into a Wall of Text, so if you don't want to bore yourself with exactly how I played the Dr. Heart quest (and RPd Meche Shepard's and Garrus's developing friendship), you can skip it. :P  I just felt like sharing, haha.

2 nights ago I did the Saleon quest with Garrus.  I played it over and over until I got what I wanted.  My problem was, I didn't have a well-defined vision for what I wanted from my Shepard (like Kim does with hers).  I realized I was injecting quite a bit of myself into my character, which I decided was all right--after all, aren't we all trying to live vicariously through some of these characters to some extent? ;)

I was initially going to Renegade the whole encounter, and let Garrus kill him, but I couldn't stomach Shepard's response--"remember how that feels", ugh.  So I decided to prevent him from killing Saleon.  I liked that much better--I didn't want Garrus to just agree with me all the time and make the whole relationship too vanilla.  So when I stopped him and he actually started sputtering:  "Wh--B--But he's right there!", I thought it was a believable response, and I also loved the way he said "You're a very lucky salarian" (and Saleon's utterly sarcastic response, 'Oh, Thank you *so much* made it more fun to watch him die, LOL).  Then I let Garrus kill Saleon by himself after all.  Then when he got upset again and said "what was the point, he died anyway", and the dialogue choice was "you're not responsible for what other people do...you can only control how you'll respond", or whatever, I stopped dead in my tracks.  I can't tell you how many times I've said that to my kids ("but Joe's mom lets him do this or that!" "well, you're not Joe, you're responsible for yourself" etc.etc.).  I'm a big fan of personal responsibility.  Then it hit me that in the future Garrus was going to admit to not being a very good turian and this was a lesson in being a better one. LOL

But I have to tell you, the thing that clinched that dialogue tree for me was the way Garrus answered Shepard, something like, "Yeah...I don't think I've ever met anyone like you before, Commander..."  BINGO!  There you are, our first flirtation <3:wub:
I like where this relationship is going...hmm Garrus, I'm going to have to start bringing you with me more often from now on... B)  Oh, and it didn't hurt that he sounded totally sexy saying that line.  Darn that BK, he can't help it I suppose. :kissing:

You know, I never killed Saleon. I've played ME1... more times than I care to admit, but in every single playthrough, the thought that I could have killed Saleon or even let Garrus kill him never crossed my mind. Not once. Then I come to the forums, she that other people did kill Saleon, and my reaction was sudden realization "oh yeah, that was an option..."

Couple other parts of ME1 that were like that as well. Like Shiala, again, it wasn't until I came to these forums where it suddenly clicked that there was an option to kill her, too.

Sometimes I wonder how I manage to get the renegade points that I do. I seem to make them count for the big stuff.

There are some renegade points that I will never be able to resist getting--like where I tell Garrus "nice shot" in Michel's office. However, I don't think I could ever stomach killing Shiala or the rachni queen, not even For Science.

I did it once....
Then I played with my Retriver for a couple of hours to get the evil off me.

I got a question for you guys. If Shepard had reasoned with Saren in ME1 and Saren commits suicide, how do you think Garrus thought of that?

That Shepard was really good at laying on the guilt..

Or had developed Jedi Powers.
