Hey, who knew who Archangel was before the game came out? I think I was spoiled on that one the week before the game came out, though I somehow knew Garrus was going to be in the game in some form.

I spoiled it because I wanted to know how Wrex would return in ME2. I happened to read something about Archangel too. :(

I hope to start ME3 without any spoilers. It's the last part. It's my only chance to play a part of this game unspoiled. :P

Yeah, I hope that they don't spoil ME3. I like the occasional spoiler or something, but having too much would ruin the experience of the game.

I bet on first lifeboat that there would be a Sheploo sex scene in the marketing campaign for ME3.

I managed to avoid Mass Effect 1's story somehow. The only real thing I knew about the game was the dialog options. Though, it's a different case because there's naturally going to be more hype for a sequel like ME2.

Oh, here's a question. Did you any of you know about the Garrus romance before you started it or before you played ME2?

I found myself wishing I could keep them both. Or at least Virmire someone for whom that's not an option. ;)

Yeah... but who?  No Liara... no resurrection... And Wrex is unthinkable.  And Tali's too cute.

I'm not even going to mention Garrus.

Nope.  Though.... I swear to God he was flirty in the first convo.

Yes, I think so. For F!Shepard, if you say "hell, you were always ugly Garrus" Garrus says something about some women finding scars attractive. I don't know if he says that for the middle/neutral option during that conversation.

I had it spoiled for me >.<  I was lurking here, and people were mentioning things - nothing outright, but once you know spoiler-y information, your view on what is or isn't a spoiler changes...
Although nothing was said outright (apart from the fact that Garrus would be there and romanceable), enough was said that I knew that Garrus would be a sniper on Omega, that "something really bad would happen but he'd be completely fine (just scarred)" i.e. gunship scene, and that the romance would be sweet but there wouldn't be much shown.

Avoiding spoilers was hard for me since my brother was playing it every weekend. I actually started to play ME1 because I saw him play it.

Fortunately, I didn't spoil that part. So I still had a Garrus-related surprise :D

I'm also talking about the "dropping your shields" convo.

And I don't think he does.

I'm weird in that I love spoilers. I do not like surprises in the media I consume for amusement, even pleasant ones, usually. So I'd watched all the YouTube spoilers I could before I even started the game.

Hahaha same as Sia.  He was really flirty with that intro, if a bit tired.  But my shoulder was sore from him SCARING THE CRAP OUT OF ME TAKING MY SHIELDS DOWN OMG.

And I'm speaking like my Shepard. I, have offically lost it.  Ah well.  INDUGLE IN THE MARY SUE! XD

Also, I wiki'd if he was a LI SO FAST... my fingers cramped.

His recruitment mission:

Shep: "You nailed me good a couple times, by the way."

Garrus: "Concussive rounds only, no harm done. Didn't want the mercs getting suspicious."

Shep: "Uh-huhn."

Garrus: "If I'd wanted to do more than take your shields down, I'd have done it.  Besides, you were taking your sweet time, I needed to get you moving."

And yea, Collider needs mega props for finding those lines.  I think just a tiny bit more of Garrus relationship validation makes my day. :3

I'm afraid I've downgraded myself to a bit of a lurker.

I was disappointed that Bioware released NOTHING in regards to ME3 at E3.  I figured then we'd at least have something new to discuss, analyze, over-analyze, re-discuss, etc.  But as always, you ladies still keep the conversations going.  I'm still working midnights, and you guys are one of the few sources of entertainment that keeps me awake.  Posted Image

...and this is the usual part where I interject "Garrus penis!" but I am a sophisticated and classy lady, so I shall refrain.  Posted Image

Let's see... middle/neutral convo... been months since I did that route... I don't think he says "Some women find facial scars attractive" either. But I can't remember for the life of me what he does say, only that it *does* eventually segue into the "Don't make me laugh, my face is barely holding together as it is" line.

I'm working on a one-shot about Shepard visiting a dentist. I've been wondering if turians ever need them, or if their teeth are part of their jawbones (like bearded dragon lizards', well kinda).

Holy cow, my typing skills have gone to crap in the last few minutes. Maybe I should try sleeping. (Hah, like that ever works.)

I sincerely hope that M!Shepard doesn't get the same dialog, otherwise I'm going to involuntarily view that scene in a different light XD

He does.  But for some insane reason it doesn't sound the same.  (My husband plays.  I always play fShep, he always plays mShep.)

Just say Banana!  We'll get it. <3
And yea, I was a bit put out that there wasn't even a mention of the DLC BW was working on to bridge ME2 and ME3 (like they've been talking about RIGHT?)
Something to ease my mid trilogy jitters.

Collider, the way he says "I needed to get you moooving."
Good lord, if I were in to the idea that turians purr, THAT would be the line that converts me.
Seriously.

Thanks to this thread, when I started drinking Mountain Dew at work I thought of Garrus.

I almost spewed the drink everywhere.

Thanks guys (and gals) XD.

(I'm also a lurker too, have been ever since the beginning of v.2, don't come out too often)

Btw Coll, I'd Virmire Morinth.

I like her least of all.

And not because of her oh so sob story, woe as me, I was born bad therefore I must be bad.

No. She was born different, and chose to use that different to kill.

So she dies. :P

Jacob... I can empathize with. I may be wicked jealous over the details in his romance that the others missed out on... but he's a much better team mate than Morinth.

Do not. Ask me where. The hell that came from. O.o
