Delurk, you lurkers. I always like to see new people. It's great to get fresh insight and opinions into discussions.

I'd like to delurk some more but always find it hard to jump myself into a conversation, and when I have seen one its way back there in pages, come and gone. I'm not the best at this whole forum discussion thing but I'm trying

I have been playign ME1, with my first Sheploo character. Been strage for me after playing so many fensheps. Hey at least it the first time I can have a bromance with Garrus. ^_^

edit: Hmm top of the page, I think we could use some Garrus

Been posted before, but its one of my favorites

I'm playing through ME1 with a MaleShep too, but he's not Sheploo. He is Garrus' friend though. :)

Yes. I have a male shepard thats best friends with garrus. They used to hang out and drink beer and listen to flux music and rave music all day. And then when shepard got garrus drunk he got him to dance in a cowboy costume.

......

What?

Speaking of deaths in ME2, has anyone tried to kill off Garrus in the Suicide Mission for science? I haven't, but I want to start my only two squaddies playthroughs to see what would happen in ME3 because of it.

Science should only be used for the good of mankind....which is why Garrus must be shirtless at some point *puffs pipe*

Hmm, seeing how my renegade femshep, Sylvia, is not a fan of humans but loves aliens. Maybe I should go through her playthrough again and kill off all my human squad members in the suicide mission "for science"

For some reason my first thought was 'that must be painful"

My MaleShep is going to take his sweet time going through the Omega-4 Relay on purpose to let the Cerberus crew die, and get Miranda killed off in the suicide mission. My in-game justification for how this works is that he asks Jack to push her in front of the Collectors during the hold-the-line section... a little strange, but I needed to come up with a reason of how he was behind it, and not just a case of luck. Everything has to work out somewhat logically in my playthroughs, unless it's just "for science" and doesn't actually get saved (only one of my suicide mission for science playthroughs was saved, because Shepard caught Garrus and Garrus caught Shepard).

MaleShep wouldn't call it "bromance," but he would say that they're bros in ME2. In ME1, he would still call Garrus a comrade though, and most people don't get that much.

I've still got 2 pages of catch-up, but just got to the post of what would we think if Garrus died heroically in ME3 how would we feel? I can see the appeal, but I couldn't bear it. I projbablycould never stand to play ME1 or 2 again after that and if I did his romance knowing he was going to die, I'd start sobbing dcuring it. No thanks. :(

Yeah... no heroic deaths of the LIs, please. ANY of them.

This. It would just be completely unfair and unsatisfying, especially if only certain LIs died, and others got a happy ever after.

I can't watch Garrus being blown up or hurt. It's not a Garrus-specific thing; I have to get up and walk around even just watching someone do something embarrassing on TV. There's a reason I saved everyone in my ME2 playthrough.

I have a tough time watching movies and tv shows for that reason. ^^ If someone does something stupid or painfully embarrassing, I feel it too. XD Very weird.

EDIT: Also, to help brighten the mood... Garrus kicking ass.  Now, if only this happened more in ME2. :3

You guys probably discuss this or something.

I like Garrus' A.I when he is in my squad in both Me1 and 2. He always seems to be covering my back or in front of me. (Until I sprint. XDDD) I just like that.

I like the AI for all the snipers actually. They save my butt quite a lot. I never leave home without one.

Until they wander in front of your line of fire, that is, and then yell at you for shooting them.

That doesn't happen to me very much in ME2. It does in ME1. To me the shotgun/pistol people run in front of me more often. Mordin is especially bad about that.

Do the ME1 squaddies yell at you, though? Wrex kept running in front of me last night while I was trying to shoot pirates on his family armor mission, and he didn't say anything when I kept accidentally hitting him. XD
