Btw, are you still accepting lame Chuck Norris facts-esque jokes about Garrus? If so I have a bad one.
Garrus never runs out of luck. Luck runs out of Garrus.
HAHAHAHA
OK not funny...

The squadmate whose icon is on the right will be the one Shepard catches, so you can get any outcome there, and just reload until the squadmate you want is on the right. The squadmate who catches Shepard when they're jumping into the Normandy shuttle is determined by a specific order, so anyone who wants double-catching awesomeness needs to bring either Thane or Jack with Garrus, and make sure Garrus' squad icon is on the right. I managed to do this with Thane on the team (that was the playthrough Miranda died when I wasn't expecting it because my hold-the-line score was too low, but it really helped me plan out my MaleShep's suicide mission if he ever gets there).Alexine wrote...
Garrus gets pulled up by most of my Shepards, except for my 1st ManShep playthrough. He pulled up Miranda instead (who died a few seconds later... for science, of course)
@kglaser: Like I said, everyone probably has different definitions of "completely evil." I consider the batarian completely evil, and Saren "evil with standards." I think we can both agree that he's "awesome evil" though.

It's nice that we can all get the suicide mission results that we want now. That used to be a question that came up every now and then around here, and now we have an answer. It really adds a lot to those last few minutes to have our Shepards catch their best friends or romance interests, and then have them return the favor.

Well...except Thane.
Unless you're willing to kill someone off, of course. A life for a life, hmm?
...maybe that's the secret to keeping Thane alive in ME3?

@General Ashous: Only one squadmate catches Shepard. The other squadmate kind of look like they give Shepard a "glad you made it" pat on the arm though. I had to watch it on youtube because I remembered the second squadmate doing something too.
It is strange that Thane doesn't use pistols. I thought that would have made more sense for him than a submachine gun.

Garrus always uses his assault rifle and charges into battle on default. The last time I played, I tried out some squad commands, telling him to take cover next to Shepard and use his sniper rifle. I think I might switch his battle tactics a little depending on the Shepard. I just have this awesome image in my mind of Vanguard MaleShep charging into battle and Garrus covering his back with the sniper rifle, both of them competing for the highest number of kills. For other Shepards, it could be the opposite - Garrus in close combat and Shepard with the sniper. They could both be close combat fighters, or both behind cover together. Now that I think of it, Garrus' combat gives a lot of variety.

If Garrus is anything like my MaleShep, he would get up close to his enemies and use Concussive Shot or even Overload. MaleShep likes to be right next to the explosions. I can just see him headshotting a mech at close range and letting his shields take the hit (they'll just regenerate anyway the next time he uses Charge). Hopefully by the time my MaleShep makes it to ME2, I'll have enough videogame skill to actually make him do that. I managed to make him punch one of those jumping geth in ME1, and a geth soldier... it was the result of accidental button-mashing, but it was still awesome.

I know, thanks. Yes, Darksiders has a kill competition, it's a bit difficult to win but there are a few tricks. I think Garrus is the kind of guy (a bit like me) who picks off as many as possible with a sniper rifle and then finishes them off with his assault rifle. The only difference is I only pick off a few and then get rid of the rest with a pistol. I hit a hopper once, very funny. I once even meleed a armature, now that is Garrus like. Actually, it's a bit more Wrex like but I could see Garrus doing it.
Nah. Garrus is a sniper by nature. He likes his kills clean and surgical (he says so himself). I don't see him meleeing anything if he has a sniper rifle handy.
Wrex, on the other hand, would totally do it.

Garrus was one of the most talented close-combat fighters in his old team, so I could see him taking down a mech like that if he ever ran out of bullets (impossible, but still cool).

He was when he was in the turian army. I don't know about his Omega team though: he seemed to describe their techniques as sniper crossfire.

Does Garrus make a "running out of bullets" comment? I don't remember it. That's just something my Shepard would do, beat someone over the head with a gun when they can't shoot them with it. xD

That picture is adorable. That's a bit of a strange angle to pull someone up, but still adorable.

Garrus would be good in the role of the Sniper from Team Forthress 2. Grunt is Heavy, Mordin is medic, Tali is engineer etc... etc...Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...
Sorry, sorry. I can't just chill and have fun once I am in analysis mode.I'm weird like that. I said before that I think Garrus would totally be a shooter player and an RTS player. I can just see it now.

I actually saw that spy-shep as a spray in TF2. Did a double-take when I saw it.
Also Garrus sniper is badass.
