Vorcha in the turian military? I just imagined one of them getting matched up to spar with young Saren... and Saren giving the little guy a kick so he could watch him roll. xD

I think we should have a female turian biotic romance interest in ME3. And Kai Leng. (And Saren.) If there was a batarian option... that would be cool for the Colonist Shepards who are trying to get over their batarian hate, but I hope it would only be an option. It would be unrealistic for batarian-haters to let one on the ship, but it totally goes along with the "choose your team" idea that I hope will happen in ME3. Some squadmates work great for certain Shepards, and some work great for others - like the idea of having Anderson for Shepards who quit Cerberus and Kai Leng for Shepards who stayed. It would be awesome for Shepard to be able to choose who comes along, and have the others help without being on the Normandy (like Wrex with the krogan, etc.). So much variety. And my Shepards not being forced to share a ship with people they don't like is an added bonus.

1. Hi Sand King.  I'm not sure we have a theme just now. :P
2. Kim, here's a present for you--Chibi Saren!

I've been a bit busy too. So yeah....Tali thread was locked down for good. And now the trolls are targeting garrus, or were attempting to. Quite honestly, we don't give damn.

Chibi Saren is adorable. :D And I didn't think Kai Leng would be too popular here. Nice to know someone else likes him too.

*crosses fingers for dialogue between Tali/Garrus with Liara if you bring the two along*

I am pretty hopeful for squaddie dialog. I mean the devs said you could continue the romance with Liara. If you have a new LI, I can hardly see them having nothing to say about that! And if they don't, that's just silly. It would also be weird if the only people who get to continue the romance are the one's who stayed completely loyal and have no LI in ME2. Of course, I guess Liara could just say "we'll deal with this later" and then it gets shoved into ME3. But if she has time to continue the romance with Shepard, you would think she would also have time to deal with challenges to that romance. It almost makes me want to do a Liara run-through on the off chance Garrus has something to say. I actually have an ME1 save I saved for that very purpose, just in case.

I have a Liara romance ME1 playthrough too. Considering I'm on my 6th time through ME1 and I've only finished the whole thing of ME2 once, it's not unreasonable to expect I could play ME2 several more times, that being one of them. :P

My Tali dudeshep was with Liara in ME1, but I botched his playthrough and need to do it again. I really need to do a "just for Tali" dudeshep as well, but I have yet to get round to that. I actually deleted a lot of my Sheps and am now doing replays to get everything just so. I have rebuilt Thaneshep and cheater paragade mainshep, but I still need to finish "Shep that's only with Garrus" and "paragon Garrus Shep" and a couple of versions of dudeshep. Yea, I know. It's confusing. I like to have all the variables covered. "Paragon Garrus Shep" would probably be the one that went for Liara and then switches.

i can't wait for the liara dlc either. I am really stoked. I hope we get to find out if Feron survived and if so, that we can rescue him. OMG drell uberawesomeness....then I can't wait to learn every dirty little detail about the Shadow Broker. And of course the Liara romance. My Brian Shepard is still torn about staying faithful to her or not. When he just met her again on Ilium two days ago, he wanted to smooch her down all the way and then he helped her of course, hoping she would come with him after that but nah, of course she wouldn't. I'm gonna play the DLC with him on the first run. soooo stoked! Can't wait to see the Paragon outcome for Brian is the absolute super hero. No Renegade decisions whatsoever....pretty hard I must say. I will definetly make a save so I can push him into a romance with Tali and then Miranda, if there are dialogues later on, hm, maybe I should do that on the first run. Way more interesting, don't you think? I kinda regret, that I never finished my Liara-femshep ME1 PT. Maybe it's time for that. Should be interesting to see what Liara has to say once she finds out, FemShep has romanced Garrus or Thane. xD Also, I wonder, if they make some special dialogue if DudeShep has romanced Miranda. Liara and Miranda know each other from the Rescue-Shepard-mission. So......wahhh, so many different options. Interesting, interesting.

Oh, and I finally managed to capture Aethyta after the Mystery drink....aside from Aria, she is by far the coolest Asari EVER hands down! I wonder, if a mystery drink for Turians would have the same effect on Garrus? xD

Hm, I also wonder, do you think, Garrus is grateful to Liara for giving Shepard to Cerberus so they could bring her back?

ME1 three times I think, ME2 I lost count....*sits down and stars counting her Sheps* I think I am on my 8th "first" PT, second "first" time with an import I think. I really don't know how many times I started the game with the same Shep right after finishing the "first" PT.

I have to admit, Me2 spoiled me! Playing ME1 is a pain in the ass for me now every time I sit down and play it, since I am soooooooo used to the ME2 combat system and NOT having that god damn mako! It took me long to finish Brian's PT and it was even harder to make him 100% Paragon! No Renegade points at all in ME1! Plus I played like ALL side quests!

Just read an interesting question in the Kaidan thread that I thought I would parallel here. Can you guys think of any Garrus lines that get on your nerves? That can either be a line you think was delivered poorly or else just something he says that irks you for some reason. I can't really think of any VA fail. Keener's awesome, but I can think of a few things Garrus says that make me uncomfortable. Some of his ME1 elevator conversations are certainly bothersome. Actually, the main thing that bothers me about Garrus is that he won't say anything sometimes even when he should. (Like the fact his head is on backwards because of Sidonis, or that he really doesn't trust Cerberus, and a bunch of other stuff I can think of.) I know it's not in character for him to say that stuff. Still doesn't mean it doesn't bug me, but as they say, you can't love people in slices.

Yesterday I went to Haelstrom to recruit Tali and for some reason it felt like there were three times as many Geth as on my other PTs and for some other reason, Garrus' only line was "one less to worry about"

I have to admit: after hearing it for the 50th time, it got on my nerves!

Another random non-sequitur post here - don't have much time to follow the thread, but I do find time to post a bit.  Oh, BTW, Chibi-Saren is adorable!

So, I just started a second ME2 playthrough a few days ago.  Today Shepard was on the Citadel with Garrus and Mordin and I heard an ad I didn't remember.

The ad column next to the Game Salesman was trying to pitch the "Sophist" biotic amp to "Miss Shepard"  on the grounds that it would somehow enhance "beauty" and "femininity,"  and it literally said something about being the perfect accessory for  "the next time you're out on the town with Officer Vakarian..."  in a rather suggestive and knowing voice. ;)

"Umm... he's standing right here?"  Even if your crush is so obvious that all the computers in the galaxy know about it, how do you think it feels when someone points it out right in front of them?  Awkward...

Besides, I'm not sure "girly-girl" is the primary impression my particular type of Shepard would want to make on Vakarian.

Anyway, does anyone remember this banter?  Does it say that no matter who you have with you?  (It would make some sense, I suppose, to assume that most players have been "on the town" with ol' Garrus)  Even if it wasn't a "smart" response, it embarrassed me for a moment.

There are a number of things I miss from ME1, but I love how much thought went in to the little "human" details in ME2.  The random banters and convos make me smile, and in Mordin's clinic, the sick, falling-over turian sitting on the floor and the distraught / ill looking turian with his head in his hands next to some apparent loved one on a gurney were quite touching.

Brian is on his way back to the Citadel tonight so he will check if this "ad" also comes up for DudeShep. If it doesn't I will reload a save of my Garrus-Shep and bring different squaddies, then check. If it does, then I'll reload a save of my faithful Kaidan-Shep and bring Garrus. Should be interesting.

That add responds to any LI that is in your party whether they are romanced or not and it refers to Samara also.
