That headbutt was really awesome though. One of my Shepards will have to tell him to do that. (Actually, I can see how it plays out for MaleShep next time I go back to his playthrough. That's what he's up to now.)

But meanwhile, I am bringing Garrus with me everywhere I go...even Major Kyle's mission, when it would've made more sense to bring Wrex (the only guy I have left with biotics--maybe he could have sympathized?). Man this RP stuff takes actual brain cells. XD

I brought Kaidan on that biotic mission, but I assume he already died at Virmire in your playthrough? Yeah, the roleplaying takes a lot of thought. I made a really long post in Clan V about the way I played MaleShep, and that's not even half of it. Every move he makes is carefully planned.
...just edited for typing errors. xD

And Kaidan did die on this playthrough, and I sorely miss his Lift ability...plus, I like Kaidan. But I had to choose, and I never picked Ash to die before.
At least Garrus is always by my side.

I thought I took a lot of notes before I tried RPing. Ha. As far as bringing party members to missions, I was glad I brought Kaidan to Chairman Burns' mission. He helped out with the peaceful resolution (as I like to see it, when crew dialogue is relevant). He didn't say anything to Major Kyle though, when I took him there.

My thoughts exactly. D: I'm not even going back to MaleShep's playthrough for a while. When your replay of a replay doesn't work out and you need another replay... it seems like the poor guy will never make it to ME2.kglaser wrote...
Hmm, too bad if that only opens after Therum, since I am NOT replaying this again. If it's the case...I have had it up to *here* with restarting this game because of !@#$% annoying asari!! XD
It looks like Garrus will only be coming along on one main mission too (Therum), which is unfortunate. I wanted to bring him to Noveria too, but somehow he spoke up about the rachni queen instead of Tali, so now I have to bring Wrex. Wrex will come along on three main missions now, but I guess it fits his character. He is MaleShep's best friend in both games. Garrus and Kaidan were both his friends in ME1, so they get to go on one mission each. Tali gets to go everywhere because she's the future romance interest. Ashley and Liara don't get to go anywhere with him because they do not get along at all.

Turian chicken?
Sounds like cannibalism
edit: Also romancing Garrus on my canon Earthborn/Ruthless Femshep was "interesting"

The only reason why Garrus wanted to do it with Shepard in the end was because she tastes like chocolate.

Nihlus was so cool it was a shame he was killed so early.
He shares the same voice-actor and facepaint with the Turian Councilor so it all evens out, I guess.

"You look beautiful...my Siha...*dies*"
I love Thane (my RenegadeShep is paired with him) but Garrus needs something like this, too...not that I would ever kill him off just to hear it...

Apparently Thane has a cut line of dialogue if he dies on the suicide mission (I'm assuming it's the scene where the second leader takes a bullet?) that is romance-specific.

Because if you romance him, logic dictates you trust him to be team leader or by your side. And you can't romance him if he's not loyal. The other times he can die he's either not near you, or screaming in terror/pain. No need for the dialogue.
But that just brings us back to wanting more for AFTER the SM.

Which makes me think he wasn't always going to be a fire-leader.
edit: Also seems Mordin was a biotic at some point.

Seems to make sense given that there's little evidence before the suicide mission itself that Jacob would be an effective combat team leader. Same goes for Miranda.mrsph wrote...

Pretty weird that the only fire-team leader actually shown having the experiance is Garrus. Though Miranda has 'Cerberus Leader" if you evolve her class which whacks you over the head on how she is a leader
I think they originally planned for Zaeed to be the third fire-team leader (makes sense, Kasumi was the third techie) but replaced him with Jacob when they decided Zaeed is a sucky leader. Would explain why Jacob only has the "failure dialog" if he is the first while Zaeed has the dialog a good choice would have.
But I always make Garrus the fire-team leader because he is probably the only person everyone semi-trusts

A lot of fics have him being standoffish with the crew. I don't get that. He says he gets cred from the Cerberus crew for being part of the team that took down Saren. Seems to me he's socialized to find that out.
