Turians "going postal." xD That's true, Saren's the only turian I've ever seen roar like that. I think it's understanable for him to act like that since Shepard could ruin a plan that took... what, 22 years? But now that you mention it, I've realized a lot of my favorite characters who are usually calm villains lose their temper when a plan gets messed up.

His implants seem to be holding his face together, and he had them before Sovereign (on the cover of Revelation), same with the cybernetic eyes. Poor guy. I wonder if he was in some kind of epic battle accident, maybe the second turian we know who tried to stop a rocket with his face. And Saren's body type does look more (I know he would be angry with me for saying this) human than most turians. My theory is that he eats a lot more, probably the equivalent of a biotic before he became a biotic, so it doesn't bother him to go on missions where he can't eat or sleep for days, like in Revelation. It's just a theory though - there really is no explanation for it.

I've seen the inside of Garrus' face on the Xbox too, except I meant to do it. The same thing works to see inside the helmets of dead turians, and to see through the collar of live turians. (All character models appear to end after the neck, then there's nothing else under their clothes.) The Garrus hug banners are awesome, by the way.

@zhongda: Thanks for the link. About Saren - his appearance is exactly the same before Sovereign based on the Revelation cover, with the exception of the tubes, geth arm, and glowing.

Totally agree.  I just can't see either Shep or Garrus feeling particularly frisky, now.  Her crew's just been taken and he just found out his mother can't be treated.  So... go shag?    And frankly, comfort would take a bit more than 2 hours.


And if it's after... what, there was nothing more than inter-species' awkwardness and he wrote his sister to get it out of his head?

It is pure awesomeness....although I suggested a t-shirt that has garrus on it, pointing his sniper and the tee should read Calibrate this!

Yeah.  Too loud.  It feels all Badass Garrus to the exclusion of everything else.

Urf...Kind of hurts my eyes a little, personally.  The Tali shirt they made recently was more my speed, subtle, even classy.  This one looks like something one would pick up at an Iron Maiden concert or something...As much of a tee shirt nerd as I am, I wouldn't buy or wear that design.

Using the sort of design like the proposed one would work for, say, Grunt...But not Garrus (or any other turian I can think of at the moment.)

@Kim Shepard- Just checked my cover again and yup, time to throw that theory away.  If "supportive" is seen as a compliment to a turian female's waist, maybe Saren's just a turian prettyboy

Well put - it just feels so.. un-turian!  (Except for the reds and blues)

I prefered the Tali design. I'd say something almost identical to that with Garrus and his sniper rifle.



Key word is Sniper Rifle. Garrus looks lost and confused without a gun to hold. Seriously. He clutches onto it that for dear life even when he's lying half dead on the floor in an effort to as awesome as possible.

Saren is a prettyboy? xD I don't see it... maybe without all the metal, the cracks in his faceplates, and the evil stare. ME1 Garrus is probably the most "pretty" turian I've seen. He was the youngest with smooth faceplates, and a lot of cute expressions. Saren looks more like a guy who's seen a lot of battles, someone people wouldn't want to mess with. Maybe in his younger days. I can't even imagine what young Saren would look like, except that I would think he's adorable.

Are there pictures of the t-shirts on the BioWare store yet? ...Where is the BioWare store page? o_o; I haven't seen either of them, but I don't order online anyway, so buying is not an option even if they look awesome.

No pictures in the store, because they haven't settled on a design yet.  That's why they're asking fans for comment on FB.

Your concern about the Corpalis Syndrome is well-founded. While rare, it's an ugly disease. The neurological degeneration is both difficult to witness and nearly impossible to halt. We are in fact working on some test trials for a new treatment, and I believe that with our new STG clearance, we can get all fees for the trial members waived as a governmental cooperation effort with the Turian Hierarchy.

My opinion of Garrus just skyrocketed after reading that. Behind the scenes he made sure that his mother DID get treatment.

I feel like the t-shirt was too black and you couldn't see much of his face, which is what I want in a Garrus shirt. a clear Garrus. xD
It looks a bit busy color-wise. The red really is too much.

This may be picky, but I also don't like how it looks like... fanart-y(?) opposed to a more official design.
