If any turian that isn't Garrus is going to return for Mass Effect 3 I want it to be Li. I love that "joisey" accent he has.
Is *that* what the accent is? Not being entirely from the States, I never could place it at all.

Totally agree. I just can't see either Shep or Garrus feeling particularly frisky, now. Her crew's just been taken and he just found out his mother can't be treated. So... go shag? And frankly, comfort would take a bit more than 2 hours.
And if it's after... what, there was nothing more than inter-species' awkwardness and he wrote his sister to get it out of his head?
Did you read the 2nd dossier?

Mr. Vakarian,
On behalf of the Helos Medical Institute, I would like to thank you for your efforts. It has been understandably difficult to get Collector tissue, given the sensitive situation on the human colonies, so the samples you sent to us have been extremely helpful. Please also offer my sincere thanks to Dr. Solus--I understand he made some calls to the Special Tasks Group, and as a result, our corporate clearance was upgraded.
Your concern about the Corpalis Syndrome is well-founded. While rare, it's an ugly disease. The neurological degeneration is both difficult to witness and nearly impossible to halt. We are in fact working on some test trials for a new treatment, and I believe that with our new STG clearance, we can get all fees for the trial members waived as a governmental cooperation effort with the Turian Hierarchy.
Thank you again for your assistance. Donations like these help keep us running. Per your request, we will keep your donations strictly anonymous.
Sincerely,
Dr. Jelith Kieron

My opinion of Garrus just skyrocketed after reading that. Behind the scenes he made sure that his mother DID get treatment.
That's an experimental treatment, it sounds like, and nothing definite. It MAY help.
So yeah... she's still incurable.

Saren is a prettyboy? xD I don't see it... maybe without all the metal, the cracks in his faceplates, and the evil stare.

ME1 Garrus is probably the most "pretty" turian I've seen. He was the youngest with smooth faceplates, and a lot of cute expressions.

Saren looks more like a guy who's seen a lot of battles, someone people wouldn't want to mess with. Maybe in his younger days. I can't even imagine what young Saren would look like, except that I would think he's adorable.
No, don't talk like that. I refuse to believe that Garrus is going to become ill, I don't think I would be able to bare it.Liec wrote...

With Garrus' luck, I wouldn't be surprised if the condition is heritable.

2) I don't really see any validity in the theory that Garrus can't come into his own while still working for Shepard - I think this very idea is something dramatized for fiction; I work in a police department (which can be considered para-military, I suppose) and we have several married couples (officers, sergeants, and otherwise) who thrive in a shared setting. Two strong-willed, capable leaders can work in tandem with each other without smothering the potential of the other - just look at the suicide mission with Garrus as fire team leader.

Take that, Shadow Broker. Besides, where else is he going to get as much room for career growth in the near term? He can't always be just a henchman, but it shouldn't mean he has to necessarily go away.

Speaking of police, I'd be curious to hear what your take is on police work in real life vs. Mass Effect world. The only police I've talked to were ultimately just hitting on me
I would LOVE a shirt that had the Archangel symbol on the sleeve!Liec wrote...
Not loving the shirt. I think something simpler like a blue tee with the yellow Archangel logo would be more wearable.

I totally get that "black sheep" feeling - I've recently gone from being the model kid to the black sheep, except that unlike Garrus, I'm not saving the galaxyand I bet many others have felt the same.
Garrus is an inspiration!
