Anyway I'm here for the first time in months because the lotsb rekindled my love of mass effect and it made me suddenly want to come back here. You know the Leliana's song DLC? Well it made me think that a character centric mass effect dlc is very possible. While there are a lot of characters with interesting backstory, it would be really great if they made a dlc focusing on Garrus's time as archangel. I think the Leliana thing made it a real possiblity. Although, I'm probably not the first with this idea, it might've been discussed weeks ago, I wouldn't know.

I would love a Garrus DLC, but I think an Ashley/Kaidan DLC should take priority, just to be fair to all the VS-mancers.  It's unfair that they didn't even get to talk to Liara about their LIs, and the Liara-centric DLC was done so well I'm sure they can reproduce something similar for Ashley/Kaidan.  Anyways, a friend of mind mentioned that it was announced that all DLC was now going to be focusing on "bridging the gap" between ME2 and ME3, so I think it's unlikely we'll get a flashback DLC...though I can't find the quote where he got that idea from.

she directs her venom at Shepard, the person who actually deserves it. 
Plus, she softens up later and wishes you happiness.

Oh I completely agree and I don't know why, but I'm sure that a VS DLC will be next because we had Liara already. We know, that the VS is out in the Terminus Systems, although I just don't buy the story the Alliance is trying to sell.....outreach program to improve Alliance-colony relations...yeah right! I'm sure there is more behind it. And I feel we will get info about it in the next DLC. So maybe around christmas Bioware will give us some more goodies to keep us busy over the holidays

how so? Garrus and Tali were in both games, does this mean they won't be in the third game at all? A character DLC doesn't mean they have a less important role in the third game.

For me it is not possible to do Garrus focused dlc because then others would demand to do dlc for each their favourite squad mate. How much squadmates we have atm... 13 right?+ they need to hire voice actors for each. Too much money for what? They even don't want add Me2 squad banters in these dlc. Stories about Me2 squaddies will expand in Me3 and properly not in some short dlc. Heck even Liara should be in one expansion. I think it is time for Vs now...and later...maybe if Bioware feels to... And Playing as Garrus would be meh to me. I disliked Leliana dlc, was boring to me aswell.

Btw what Liara says if you cheated her with Garrus? I also heard that you could continue relationship with her if you cheated just without touching her azure and when she does embrace eternity thing.
And now when I think of when she says "humans finds Asari attractive." It sounds to me now who didn't romance her like "Hey Shepard" *wave* here I am xD...screw turians

well it's not like we need a DLC for every single squaddie, but Garrus and Tali aren't just anyone...they are from the first game. Hence, it would make sense to use them to gap the bridge between both games. At least, more sense than using any of the squaddies, that were added in the second game. just my opinion though...

I don't want a Garrus DLC, but for very different reasons than you guys. I don't want one because I never download anything, so I'd never get to see it. Also, it's Shepard's story, so I think Shepard should be the focus. Liara DLC makes sense because she's a big part of the plot. Morrigan DLC made sense because she was a big part of the plot. Leliana DLC didn't make much sense to me because she's not a big part of the plot. Some of Shepards squadmates are more important than that (in the way that some of them have to be recruited, while Leliana does not), but I think the same argument could be made that it doesn't advance the plot, and it would be strange to play through parts of Mass Effect going back in time without Shepard. I think an Archangel comic would be awesome though. More information about characters is great - it doesn't have to be in-game.

@Xalena: That line annoys me too, and I won't even see it in my playthroughs. xD Did you replay and choose one of the other options that weren't Garrus-related?

I've been wondering about that.  Because unlike with the ME1 LIs, there's no grey area here; if you hooked up with Liara in LotSB, you were definitely cheating on your ME2 LI.  Hopefully, that gets addressed in ME3, but I'll have to read about it because I have no intention on kicking Garrus while he's down.

yup! that's what Brian did. Romanced Liara in ME1, Tali in ME2, then embraced eternity with Liara in LotSB.

Hmm... well that is not good. And they scared us about consequences about cheating. That I romanced Liara in Me1 then I could freely go break up with Garrus before playing lotsb and then what? xD Then i would lalla ble ble ble you faithfull suckers? but no, really this is hole in game I think... maybe even bug? Or what...

I did not tbh...just guessing that it would recognize it like I was faithfull?

oh btw Kim no I didn't replay... I could but...I am not replay type xD... Acually I even don't think that I could choose another option that is not Garrus related hehe xD

I play on the Xbox, and I don't connect it online. I've had a lot of problems with computers connected with the internet, so it's basically just paranoia, but I don't want my Xbox to have problems too, and I know that sort of thing is pretty common. It's expensive to buy new stuff when the internet "breaks" it. As far as I know, there's no definite proof that problems with the Xbox are related to an online connection... but coincidence or not, I've had my Xbox for years and never had any problems. If I had a gaming PC that would go online anyway, I'd download it, but those are way more expensive than a replacement Xbox.

...I went off-topic and have no Garrus pictures to post. xD In an attempt to make this Garrus-related, I came up with a question for you guys. A lot of us have said that Garrus becoming a Spectre would be awesome. Do you agree? Would you want it to happen before, during, at the end of ME3, or in the distant future? I think a Spectre promotion at the end of ME3 as a reward for everything he's done and is capable of would be great.

I interpreted that line as one last bit of Liara's innocent/naive side from ME1 still remaining. When you actually get Liara to stop trying to get together with you in ME1 and thus avoid her romance trap, she seems quite respectful of your choice.

I kinda liked the Garrus part of the Liara conversation (Am I the only one who did?). Shepard isn't really saying that she's fighting for Garrus, she's just responding to Liara's "To give Garrus some peace?" question.

If Garrus does, he'll be partnered with Shepard, no matter her morals.

@Xsauce: Avoid Liara's trap romance and still talk to her? I've never managed to accomplish this, following all the right steps of others who did. xD She hates my MaleShep, hates him! ...But apparently, still likes him.

@Jane: I would rather the stuff about the Virmire Survivor take place in ME3, but yeah, they're definitely important enough for "bridge the gap" DLC. I wonder how ME3 will handle my Shepards not recruiting Liara before the game starts, same with the Virmire Survivor if they choose to go that route with their recruitment. (I'd like an option to say "No, you can't come!" but that might just be wishful thinking. It's more in-character for some of my Shepards though, unless they have absolutely necessary information like Liara in ME1.)

@Sialater: Just my opinion, but I don't think another human Spectre is likely to happen. They sure gave Shepard a lot of trouble, and the other human squadmates aren't exactly on Shepard's level of skill. For Garrus, on the other hand, there are already many turian Spectres, so there wouldn't be as much politics against it.

@mrsph: Is that information on the Wiki? I don't remember it, but I didn't read everyone's dossiers in complete detail.

Hmmmm Garrus as a Spectre in ME3. I wouldn't mind that. I'm still don't know if I would like Garrus to be somewhere else or near Shepard during the whole ME3 game. I would like to see bth .. I can't choose XDD



(Had another Garrus dream last night. Died again. What is with that? Second dream with Garrus with me dying in the end. Are my dreams telling me that Garrus would get me killed? O.O)



Also, wanted to drop by and say that I wouldn't mind a comic of Archangel's adventures(I prefer DLC just to hear the voices. I love voice actors!)

Liara is evil... she KNOWS that you are in relation for example with Garrus and she does this? She does that to her best friend Garrus? Ok...I know..then we could talk now how Garrus never mention Liara if you romanced her in ME1 and you going to romance him and cheating Liara... but it is different mabe? Who says that he knew that you were in relationship with her and even if he knew, well two years passed all thought that you are dead etc etc...? I'll buy him and Tali being pals after she's recruited in ME2, but... I can only really see him being friendly with Kaidan in ME1. And that's mostly because of Kaidan's personality, not Garrus.



I adore Garrus, and I love his evolution. But he was a giant stick in the mud in ME1.

hmm...ok I am imaging things...will be a very long when I had Me1 last time in my hands... But friends or not they were still fighting together against reapers, geths etc etc...there should atleast some respect for each other?... like I know we are quite different and don't like each other too much but you were fighting with me in darkest hours and you were a really good fighter you saved my ass alot of times, I would never do any harm to you ever.
Ok  I am going to stop, taking some rest... tired... I hope I didn't embarass myself here xD
