Still here? Okay, good, 'cause I'm going to gush about Garrus. XD
FIrst off...I didn't think there was a way for me to love Garrus' character any more than I already did...but now I do. Seriously, this guy thinks he's a bad turian? I think he exemplifies the best of turian traits. Loyalty, selflessness, dedication.

Hear, hear!
You have my wholehearted agreement. Haven't played the DLC yet, but this is an excellent summary of so much that I feel about Garrus. I'm glad to hear that LotSB took the opportunity to elaborate on the nobility of spirit that his fans have always detected.
He may not always be "turian" the orthodox way, but he's definitely turian at heart. The fact that he worries about not being a good one just goes to show how seriously he takes his sense of duty.
His humility is really beautiful. As you pointed out, Eradyn, he chooses to apologize to his sister. That shows some generosity and discipline. Lovely little touch on the part of the writers.
Indeed, it's hard not to have the PC romance a character who shows such a capacity for loving with steadfastness, even at great personal cost.
I can't wait to see all this in-game for myself. Good job Bioware for being true to the character.
Garrus is worthy, and someday, after many long battles, he'll know it to be true.

Wait, what DLC? : o I've been gone from internet for ever (was on a loooong trip away from civilization and thus *gasp* from my bioware games)! I've been an observant of the Garrus &Kaidan fan boards in particular - can someone give me a slight update if there are any DLC or anything related to those characters? (or any DLC at all, seeing as I am completely lost... :') )
New Liara DLC. You finally go after the Shadow Broker. The Shadow Broker has secrets on your squadmates. This includes Garrus.

Lair of the Shadow Broker. The new Liara-centered one that came out a day or two ago.

Someone once told me, "Watch the feet, not the mouth." As in, watch what someone does, not what they say (or don't say). With Garrus, that's fairly good advice.mrsph wrote...
You know, the more and more I think of it the more I think Garrus doesn't really have to say "I love you" to Shepard. I think him and Tali have shown Shepard that they care a great deal about the squishy human without actually having to say it.
Well, he had that stick up his *** for a while, he's probably just getting used to being less rigid.

I was thrilled with ME2 though, whereas
some were not. For me, it exceeded all my expectations - I was glued to
it the moment I turned my console on. Every time I go back to the first
game, all I want to do is play the second, and I loved the first game when it came out.
THIS! IS! SO! ME! sorry for the caps! I loved the first game but whenever I play it, I just cannot wait, to get through to play the second one. I don't even know why that is! The first one has so much more RPG elements in it which I prefer!

The power of Garrus compels you! Look into his eyes, you cannot deny the embodiment of badassery.
Those lines of epicness should go straight into Clan V, one way or ....the other. Wait, that line just went somewhere horrible

Dancing turian is awesome. I'm surprised the Shadow Broker doesn't have evidence that it's the Presidium Groundskeeper.
I also agree with the ME2 squad returning. I'd like to see some new squadmates in ME3 too, but that doesn't mean the old ones should suddenly find something better to do than saving the galaxy.

I think dwarves of both genders are very good looking. Yes seriously.UnDutchable wrote...
@lovgreno: Yeah, the dwarves are the best race in DA:O. I was hesitant to play them at first because I've never been a big fan of dwarves and I thought they were kind of ugly, but I was completely hooked after I got my first Dwarf Noble out of Orzammar. And things just got more awesome when I came back to Orzammar with that character. Good times.
Awesome ME2 moment of the day: On his loyalty mission, Garrus and my Infiltrator Shep sniped one of the YMIR mechs in the head at the same time and it went nuclear and the explosion completely obliterated the other mech and it was glorious. "Scoped and dropped", indeed.
If that glorious ownage doesn't make Shepard and Garrus fall totaly in love with eachother I don't know what will.

I was thinking about ME3 and how I think I heard from somewhere that if you have a romance with say, Kaidan in the first game and Garrus in the second, they might have some kind of fight over you in the third game?
I know I would love to hear Garrus smirk at Kaidan and say something along the lines of: "Shepard can be very ...flexible... with assignments"

Garrus is not a bad turian he's a badass turian with a heart of gold. Honestly, the self-effacing way he conducts himself around his family makes my heart melt.

It also makes me kind of angry at his family as well. Although it's not like they have the inside information about his current whereabouts, so I can partially understand why Sol is acting the way she is. Still doesn't seem right though...Buggirl70 wrote...

True, true. I don't have experience when it comes to that kind of stuff, I'm an only child. It just seems Garrus' family is quick to pull the whole "You were fired/quit your job at C-Sec" card and at the same time tell him he's a terrible job hunter. It's like kicking him when he's down, or that's what I garnered from it.Buggirl70 wrote...
I find it difficult to be angry at his family. I think because they don't have any info on him and he is being deliberately evasive to shield them from the **** that he thinks his life has become their reactions to him are part of normal family behaviour. Being a little sister myself, when I was younger I've certainly acted that way towards my brother at times.

Yeah, I suppose it was out of frustration. Having a family member that is sick is a rough go to be sure. It's good to see that Garrus has someone on the outside he can talk to, family that seems to care about him.Kim Shepard wrote...
In the end, his sister just seems frustrated because they're going through a hard time. She does apologize to him after saying those things about losing his job and having fun being a merc.
