Prefer the Zombie-Garrus and Jacob one. It's not just romantic, it's necromantic!

But I must say that I like how this scene looks with Garrus...eh that modder just replaced Jack with Femshep would be insta win. That angry face at 00:32 and when he pulls her close to himself is so damn sexy xD...and then throwing things from tables at 00:45 looks soo funny : )))... then at 00:52-00:58 kissing actually looks very nice :o...just wow, I wish that we get something like this xD... in me3. Would fit perfectly jealous Garrus maybe : )))) mmm passionate Garrus...

And now this pic which you put... Can't figure if it is screenshot from game or what o.O

I was watching F1 with Lewis Hamilton playing the new F1 game against his brother -- a world champion playing what he does for a living as a game. So yeah, I can see Garrus totally getting Halo Reach. With the sniper rifle. I bet he sends reports in all the time that infiltrait0rN7 is a cheating bastard.

I believe Garrus is a lost spartan, who was swallowed by a worm hole into the Mass Effect universe and suffered from massive amnesia. Unfortunately, garrus is adopted. :(

Personally I love love love Aria.  I think she's a necessary evil, and since she (smartly) seems to keep herself confined to Omega I don't see why Shepard would need/have to f^ck with her in ME3, especially considering that your relationship in ME2 seems mutually beneficial and respectful of one another.  If we have the option to f^ck with her, let it be just that - an option, not a requirement.

Also, lets not forget that we still need to see the epic Aria/Wrex reunion!  Posted Image

And yes, Garrus.  I stated this previously, but I don't think Garrus necessarily likes being in a leadership position.  Just the way he talks about his distaste for red tape, paperwork, and micromanaging...it doesn't lend itself to someone who is aiming for Shepard's type of position, and that's why I think a second-in-command, field team leader, XO, what-have-you is an ideal scenario for him.  An example of this is my father was a police officer for thirty years, and when he was promoted to Major (which is just under the Chief) he detested it because he felt less hands-on and more bogged down by the minutia of managing his squad.

Yeah, I don't think Garrus would be thrilled with XO/office-type positions. Yeah, you have more authority, but you tend to have more paperwork and red tape to deal with. He always struck me as the kind of guy who preferred field work to paper work. I think he would want to be a leader under his own terms, not someone else's...like on Omega. He led a team, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't filling out reports after his missions there.

Unofrtunately I don't know how future space vessels are run (besides from what I gathered via Battlestar Galactica) so I don't know a specific position Garrus could fill, but a "team leader" sounds appropriate. I think we all agree that something similar to the fire team position during the SM was ideal.

Garrus seems more like a man of action than a man of pen and space-paper.

He's a man on the edge! He's got nothing to lose!

I don't know why that line pops into my head every now and then.

In a sense it sort of fits. Garrus doesn't have very much around him other than Shepard and other various squadmates.
Either that or Conrad has been talking to you too much.

I love Aria too. I think she's a great character. I adore her. One of the few asari that are more than just shakin their asses. I do believe though, that Aria is Aleena Wrex talked about in ME1. Aria says "better luck next time" to Shep if you try finding out more about her past. Wrex tells you that Aleena told him "better luck next time" after she's escaped from the destroyed base station. If that's true, then I really hope for an awesome reunion in ME3 for both of them.

Also, I do think that is of importance that we helped Aria in ME2. I think, Shep will gain her trust over time. Not her full trust, maybe more her respect than her trust but I think, this will play together in the last game. And I really hope for that. I don't wanna kill her. She's awesomesauce.

It's what happens when BW forgot to add the paragon route.

I agree that Garrus doesn't like paperwork. He talked about it in ME1, saying that he once had an office at C-Sec and half the time he's bogged down in paperwork.

I'm indifferent towards Aria, I think she's interesting, but we haven't seen the full potential for her yet.

As far as Garrus and paperwork are concerned, I'm sure he'd rather be playing Halo, as would I!!Posted Image

Aria may be a good character (I can't help picturing her as Trinity now that I know who voices her) in an objective sense, but she gets on my nerves. "I am Omega" is just so incredibly overconfident, my instinctive reaction is "you, girl, need to be taken down a notch or twenty". People like that push several of my "do not want" buttons simultaneously. So I really wouldn't mind confronting her in some way or the other.

That being said, I'm not sure taking her out would fix Omega. I'm not even sure what could fix Omega. With no law enforcement and no legal system, you'd either have to have a bloody colonization by Council forces (and I really doubt they'd want to bother) and possibly a protracted war with the Terminus Systems over it, or, very simply, a nuke.

So while I do think that Garrus made an impact, in the sense that he actually gained recognition in a few months' time, I don't think he could've changed anything significantly in the long run. I'm pretty sure it was a doomed endeavour. And I don't think he could've taken Aria on his own. Yes, he's intelligent, but he's also impulsive, and let's not forget she's got centuries of experience that he doesn't have. That also counts for something. 'Course, she's also overconfident, which is probably her biggest flaw.

I also don't think Garrus taking Aria's place would be a good thing. And he wouldn't want it either.

I don't see Aria as over-confident. It may come across like this in the game at first, but the moment, you give her the datapad from Archangels recruitment mission, she's all like whoah, wait, wut? also, the books are pretty informative about her.

I do believe, that Garrus gained at least some respect among the people there, maybe even in Aria's eyes. But I agree on his impulsive side. He still has it and though it's not a flaw at all, it has clouded his judgement in the past.

I would agree that "overconfident" is the wrong way to describe Aria, however, I do think shes pretty bloody arrogant. She seems to think shes completely unstoppable, I look forward to seeing her proven wrong.

I wouldn't want Garrus to take over Omega, but I would just love to see him be the one to ventilate Arias skull.

Thinking she's unstoppable = overconfident to me Posted Image But yeah, arrogant also works, if you prefer that term. She definitely thinks she's unstoppable. Which is exactly why the datapad comes as a shock: she doesn't expect it. I don't think she expects anybody would even try, what with the fact that she's got Patriarch as a trophy. I don't think it shakes her belief in herself though, she just takes it out on her underlings right away.

Also, about her possible involvement in Garrus' downfall: I'd say she didn't consider him a threat just yet. It seemed more like an amusing little pastime to her. Of course, had Garrus managed to take out all the mercs AND stayed on Omega, then she might've had to reconsider her stance.

Aria is overconfident. Ultimately I think that will be her downfall. She has Omega by the throat though, so I can see why she may think she's all that and a bag of chips.

Meh let Aria alone to root in that big crazy mushroom of Omega :D. But better for her to help our Shepard against Reapers if not then Reapers will f**k Aria.

*Lotsb spoilers*

I wonder if we will ever see Garrus singing during firefights one of these songs which he has in his visor :D!
I often sing while I listen some music so... I wonder how they sound.

1.) "Die of the Cause" (turian imperial anthem)
2.) "Fire in the Courtyard" (soundtrack, Fleet and Flotilla)
3.) "Band Band Boom" (Club Kicks, dance mix)
4.) "Hurt me Deeper" (Best of Expel 10, dance mix)
5.) "Blue Azure" (Vaenia, sountrack)
I want my Shepard to sneak sneak and put some good human music in his visor  first song will be totally Afternoon Delight xD
Then he would be probably like: Whaat the hell? *hits his visor* Who changed my songs??:crying: waaah my ears are bleeding!

Anyway... first would fit probably death of his Omega teamates, second one and third don't have idea, Hurt me Deeper maybe while you doing his Sidonis quest and Blue Azure... I don't even think about that one xD! I hope he didn't listen that during Romance scene with Shep...:?...hmmm Soooo...Garrus have maybe fetish for Asari Azures but not for humans? hm hm... he never considered interspecies relationships? (well atleast with Asari?) hm hm...

Yeah, i was hoping no one would notice the whole overconfident/unstoppable meaning the same thing.
But the words have a different feel to me. overconfidence is "I'll do so well on this test I don't have to study!" Arrogance to me, is more like saying you "are" the the asteroid space station thing your in charge of, or thinking no one would dare to challenge you.
...Basically I think we agree on everything accept which word best applies.
But that's just how a view the words, so it might as well be meaningless.

The Turian Battlehymn "Die For The Cause" must be quite something if it can inspire Garrus to deliver the infinite cans of whoopass as he obviously do.

the songlist made me think quite a lot as well lol.
Band Band Boom kinda reminded me of Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas xD *rofl*
And yeah, blue azure....kinda thought that this was a song about asari haha. but who knows. maybe it's a love song, ya know, like blue rose of ilium is a poem. maybe whenever he listens to it, he thinks of that special woman? dawwwwwwww :wub::wub::wub::wub:

and it's "Die for the cause" not of the cause. Well, after all, he's a turian.

"Hurt me deeper" made me lol xD because it totally reminded me of Xsause's prostate exame story lol.

Umm, I think "Blue Azure" plays during that scene from Vaenia Joker wants Liara and FemShep to reenact if you romanced her. The title's just too suggestive for it not to be.
