Oh sorry for the "Die of the cause" mistake xD thanks for correcting me...
"Hurt me deeper" reminds me aswell on song which I have under in signature "I support dancing turian". I think it calls "What is Love" when singers says: "Oh baby, don't hurt me, Don't hurt me no more". I dunno why... Anyway I want Garrus to sing during the combat and maybe if you take Mordin with you he sings with Garrus xD...some kind of party banter.

I had always speculated that Jack's earpiece was also for creating soundtracks to match a particular battle. Seems to really fit for her, but funny they gave that characteristic to Garrus. I've always figured Garrus was a bloke, not quite the sensitive type like Kaidan and Thane. So he likes the guy talk, sports, and a well played battle orchestrated to a good beat.

Just think of that sort of boyfriend who acts one way to his girlfriend and then heads off to Mars when surrounded by the guys. That's the sort of Garrus I picture.

Liking a song doesn't necessarily mean that you ascribe to what the song is about. I like Daniel by Elton John; it's a beautiful song, which is also clearly from a man to another man. Doesn't mean I wish I were a gay man. I also like Slow Motion by Third Eye Blind. Doesn't mean I wish I did drugs. Heck, I even like Heirate Mich by Rammstein, and I'm certainly not a necrophile. And so on and so forth. I even have songs from films I've never seen. So I don't think there's any deeper meaning to the fact that Garrus likes a song from Vaenia. He may not have seen/didn't like the film itself, just the music.

I do wish I could hear the songs though. But it does strike me as odd to be listening to music during a battle. Isn't it distracting? Especially if you're trying to coordinate manoeuvres with your teammates.

Also, lol @ Haddaway...Now I'm picturing that SNL skit with Jim Carrey

Now I know why Garrus yells too much during the battles. I often were asking myself when I would heard from Garrus "ONE LESS TO WORRY ABOUT!" or "SCOPING DROPIN" why he yells so much? He reminds me on my grandpa who can't hear very well so he yells. When I listen music I yell aswell when I talk to someone! : ))) And yes music is damn distracting, hell even if I turn off sometimes music in Mass Effect to listen mine I am distracted and get killed very often xD! That I am Shepard for real and listen music hell I would dance aswell on battlefield : )))

          Garrus (listening music): *Baby baby let's go right, let's go left we don't careeee, let's do it right* Oh what, huh. Shepard what did you say? Left or right or fight? huh xD

Music doesn't distract me, so I actually get the "fighting to a sound track" thing. It just makes me move (or in my case, write) in a rhythm. It obliterates outside distractions and I'm better able to concentrate.



John Ringo author of the Posleen Invasion series actually put in a soundtrack list for the songs his marines fought and marched to, most of them were Metallica and AC/DC. So, yeah... I get it.

Oh I am one of those people as well that can focus better when they listen to music but Garrus never seemed to be THAT kind of guy to me lol.

I sooo want to see Fleet and the Flotilla. That movie would be good for a date with Shepard and Garrus/Tali by the way, I belive they would all enjoy it in some way. I mean they are xenophiles all three of them.
