Aha, I feel silly admitting I have a Shep who romances only Jacob, but I seem to be one of the few people who doesn't mind his romance. I still think he could've been written MUCH better and more consistently (Lazarus station Jacob =/ Normandy Jacob), but he's all right.

I never saw the pirate earring thing myself.  I've stared at it and tried to make myself see it and I just can't.  I actually like the cybernetics there.

What? Posted Image Its great concept art for a possible half-naked Garrus. Plus, plus, it makes him skinnier , thereby helping to eliminate the clipping issues, thereby allowing the devs to animate better physical touches, hugs and what not. Everyone wins!

I really do hope they resolve those clipping issues. That would be awesome if they did. But if they can't, shirtless texture would be a nice way to make up for it.

Me too! And for some reason I think he also looks very gay in that picture... No clue where that comes from, though.

It's an excellent piece of fanart, though.

Possibly because he's holding that handkerchief in a semi-dainty way?

I'm seeing the earring though. It was my first thought when I saw the pic "huh...? why does he have an earring? Posted Image"

I think that's his bandage, actually, not a handkerchief.

That's one of my favorite pieces of Garrus fanart because I just love the way the artist drew his hands. Talons. Whatever.

I think it is the lights on it more than anything. If that was toned down, I don't think it would that bad especially if there were some more cybernetics in his jaw or something. I just like the idea of visible cybernetics.

This is what I thought too.  Moment I saw it, I thought it was shirtless Garrus *ahem* oiling up his gun.  Tell me that isn't sexy?

Except for the "earring" it totally hit all my wishes for a sweet Garrus picture. It almost feels like a quiet moment on Omega in between missions before everything went to hell.

Oh, good point, it does look like it could be the bandage. It's got those stripes.

Not sure it's a bandage - it looks too square and it has a design in the middle and something that looks like blanket stitches around the edges.

It IS the bandage. :P You can see the pattern and everything...if you can't, try looking at the full-size image. ;) And I think the "earring" is actually the cybernetic implants holding his face together...Does look a lot like jewelry from afar.

Oh, I know it's the implants. The fact that they're round and glowy just makes them look like an earring. I know Garrus hasn't suddenly decided to do a pirate impression Posted Image

That's just the thing that keeps his visor in place. Shepard has the same thing when you put the Kuwashii visor on.

We have such technology today where we can wear a headset that picks up our brain patterns and translates them into executable commands carried out in games and various software...thus "controlling games with our brains." Doesn't require us to be plugged into anything, either, since it's wireless. ^^ Lemme see if I can dig it up...

Still, here it is: The Emotiv EPOC.  Pretty cool gadget...I'd love to get one someday. ^^

Not mind control...controller for the mind. :P Use the mind to give commands...faster than having to use just your hands and it frees them up for more important things.

I don't know whether to think that thing is cool or scary. But I am so scatterbrained, I don't really want to know what it might make a character do if I had it. They'd be a total spaz. Lol.
