Here are some fuzzy Garrus apartment photos.  Now I see the body bags.  I did in fact notice them when playing, twice, but I didn't realize those were bodies in there... 

His apartment is really, really huge compared to what most NPCs seem to have.  He has way too many couches, and it looks like the entire front wall on the first floor opens up.  I suppose it's possible that it isn't actually Garrus' bed, but it seems like a reasonable assumption to make.

  It's hard to keep a steady hand with no flash, so if you can take proper screenshots, please do!

Hi garrus fans. My first post in this thread...and a pretty cool thread at that. I may start checking this regularly.

On topic: I never even noticed that that was Garrus' home in his recruitment mission. How silly of me.

I think the whole place is like a warehouse he just converted to an HQ. The basement seems to suggest that. I do think that is his bed though and I wonder about that blue pillow. Oh, right, that's true, I totally forgot about the bunk beds.  I remember wondering whether he uses that huge kitchen to cook for the crew.  It would be totally neat if he could actually cook, too!

If I were staying up for days fighting for my life, I certainly wouldn't make my bed!  So military of him.  It always bugs me that Kasumi doesn't pack her stuff away during the day. 

I'll bet he does miss that pillow!   Garrus doesn't seem like the type to put a bunch of extra pillows on his bed if he's going to toss them on the floor when he actually gues to bed.  I bet he hugs that pillow    He seems to like bluish things.  That whole bed looks very "Calvin Klein" to me.

I noticed the bunk beds, but I never even saw the other one! I have to go play again now! So impressed that he made his bed under the circumstances. That blue pillow totally looks like a snuggly one :-)

Aha! I just located three more body bags: Two near the bunk beds (there are twelve bunks), and on the far side of the room in a corner.



4 body bags + 2 body bags + 3 body bags = 9. Shouldn't there be a tenth if we exclude Garrus and Sidonis who are still alive?

Checked the basement except for behind the the doors to the shutters.  No body bags AFAIK.  So: 9 bodies in Garrus' apartment that I can count.

His sheets are brown.  The blanket or topsheet has either a texture or a subtle print.  The blue-green pillow appears to be pintucked.


In the room where Garrus is shooting, you can see that he left his helmet on a desk after he took it off:


BTW, Garrus appears to have two dumpsters outside his apartment.

I don't think there were any krogan on the team, just because I doubt any krogan on Omega would be there to fight crime. Salarians shouldn't need a different kind of bed. (And krogans would just need one of the big beds.)

The detail of Garrus' helmet on the desk is pretty awesome.

Maybe we can pretend that the krogan is the one missing and that that guy died outside the base somewhere. That conveniently erases all design oversight of the body bags all being about the same size. A krogan would be the only species that was obviously very different.

Who knows, maybe the devs actually thought of that, in which case their foresight is awesome.  It would be so amazing of them if they predicted that the fangirls would be snooping around the place counting body bags and analyzing his bed

That would make sense. Those Krogan are darn tough so that would work. And I second Pedpickle - I'd so work my way through all the merc bands to get Garrus his pillow back if he wanted it. It would look good on Shepard's bed - she needs some more colour up there and it would coordinate with the fish tank :-P

I think the only confirmed members of Garrus's team were a Salarian and a Batarian and the rest were left up to speculation. Please correct me if my memory is faulty though.

As far as I know, the only confirmed races were turian, human, salarian, and batarian. (He says "a batarian, if you can believe that", so I assume it's just one.)

I have one MaleShep who would probably just give Garrus the bed if he wanted it. He'd sleep on the couch. It seems a little strange to him that he has such a fancy room and big bed, being a no-romance insomniac ex-gang member who grew up on the streets. That is, if Garrus can sleep when he's watching TV and studying mission stuff on his private terminal.
