Here's a question for all the ladies here. Do you find anything physically attractive about Garrus and if so what is it? Or is it all voice and personality?
Believe it or not but this was asked by my fiance the other night.

The single thing I find the most attractive, though, is turian faces.  As lovgreno put it in the Abduction crackfic on Clan V, their faces are "proud and stern."  The mandibles remind me a bit of a helmet with cheek protecting pieces.  Then, they go and paint them in all sorts of even prouder and sterner patterns.  Gorgeous.  And they've got the intense saurian eyes that remind me of this.

Physically, the whole "avian" thing does it for me. The fringe and the leg spurs are aesthetically awesome and produce a uniquely angular look and just a hint of ostentation.  The legs look like they'd have the running and kicking power of an ostrich.

Lorik Qui'in is the turian I find most physically attractive because of his particularly severe face, but Garrus' face has a touch of youthful energy and playfulness that's really cute.

Hmm turian physique - it's got to be the big broad chests and shoulders and the narrow waist; the fact that they're tall and walk like they're stalking prey; add in that cool voice and their eyes and I'm lost. Their faces look almost feline to me even though I know they're supposed to be more avian in design. I also like their expressions - when they use their mandibles to express surprise or laugh.

Mass Effect plushies?! But they probably won't be available in stores where I can buy them. At least the action figures will be. I would buy most of that stuff if it was in stores...

About finding turians attractive, MainShep does. She likes their faces and expressions, the combination metallic plates and tough-looking skin, colors, eyes, fringe, mandibles, tattoos, etc. She really likes fringe. Saren has extra fringe. xD And she actually prefers his closer to "human" body type (sorry, Saren - can't think of a better way to say it), even though she doesn't care much for humans. I imagine her going on and on about how attractive Saren is to one of my other FemSheps, whose response is "If he was a human with that personality and those eyes, I'd be saying the same thing." So turians are a bit too alien for most of my FemSheps, but they can at least find something they like about turians.

Everthing about the turians, looks, culture, etc... says: Do not mess with me! They express self confidence and strenght. This is always attractive.

Does BK sing? I really want Shep to walk in on Garrus singing or humming something to himself. Maybe singing along to the music his visor plays. It's some weird thing that I want to happen.

Heeee, Garrus humming the turian anthem? X3 As I've said before, I don't care if Garrus/BK is reading out of a dictionary...it would be the sexiest dictionary-reading ever. :P BK NEEDS TO LEND HIS VOICE TO AUDIOBOOKS. I want to imagine it's Garrus reading me a story.

BK said somewhere on his FB page (I think it was on the Discussions tab?) that he wasn't much of a singer, but he could handle karaoke when he needed to.

It doesn't have to be that.  I could be from on of the two chick flicks on his playlist.  He could secretly be a romantic.  Or his sister made him watch them and he just liked the music.

Re Garrus's change in ME2:

In terms of practicality, it's impractical to have radical changes for Garrus in the second game. Bioware said they are reserving branching paths and major consequences for the third game - which makes sense. Waiting until the third game removes the logistical problem of importing to Mass Effect 4 - because there is no Mass Effect 4.

I dunno... I kinda like the idea of Garrus being a romantic.  it fits in with the idealism at least.

I would pay good money to see Garrus singing karaoke now! (imagines karaoke night on the Normandy around Kasumi's bar)

The turian anthem sounds like awesome and badass. It has some sounds of sniper rifles mixed in.

What if Garrus raps instead of sings?  It could happen!

Garrus is an idealist. I wouldn't doubt that he would research human romance novels and romance films and try to aspire to make his relationship with Shepard have all of that magic.

Though I think Garrus is more of an idealist in the way that he would work towards the ideal hoping that the ideal would come. All the while he would not be surprised if things didn't turn out well.

A realist idealist? Is that possible?

This would be wonderful.  Yes, I'd even listen to the dictionary.

Te@Collider & Sialater: So he'd be be a pragmatist, then?

And yes, it is possible. I, too, am a pragmatist. A "realistic optimist" (or idealist) if you will. :)

If not taken literally, yes. Garrus thinks certain things are possible, but doesn't necessarily think they are likely. But he'll still take the effort to reach for it.

Hey guys, sorry it's been a while. not been feeling so good lately, been looking forward to some Garrus time. I too would like to hear the Turian national Anthem and Garrus singing it

would be absolutely brilliant. It's go down as one of my favourite gaming moments ever. I absolutely love Brandon Keener's voice. Has he been in any films? I think he's one of the best parts of Garrus. The voice just suits him. I think there are only 3 voices I like as much and that's Thane's actor, Mordin's and Martin Sheen. I can see Garrus as being that kind of guy that tries to be romantic but just doesn't seem to get it quite right, you know what I'm saying? He tries but just somehow slips up.

Looks wise, I love turian fringes, I could stare at them all day! In regard to Garrus in particular, i love his height, his eyes, his voice, but am for some strange reason taken with his arms and hands/claws/talons what ever you want to call them. Out of the purely non-physical attributes -his personality wins me over every time.
