Being romantic and being A Romantic are two different things.
Indeed. Er...was anyone arguing otherwise? O.o Because I'm a little lost.

I can see Garrus as chivalrous and thoughtful, and if you're in a relationship I think that would come across as romantic. Not sure I see him as a Romantic though. He seems too practical and grounded some how.
I concur. I see him trying to do romantic things (music and wine...heheh) because he's thoughtful like that and is trying to make it work...not necessarily because he's a romantic. Maybe in his own, endearing way... :3

You know, for some strange reason, I can almost see Garrus as a romantic who never realized it and then here come Shep. If that makes sense. It sounds really cheesy and yet appropriate somehow. I could see Shep feeling the same way herself, my Shep anyway. I have to think about this. It's just a half formed idea.

I think I kind of get what you're saying. I don't think he's an overt romantic, but that he tries is romantic inits own way.
@Sialater: Ah, okay I see. I think I missed that post...which isn't difficult since I'm using my phone.^^

Garrus is a classy manPlus he likes to put 100% into whatever it is he wants. Look how determined he was during the saren investigation, during omega, its no surprise he'd put 100% into a relationship is well. Even if it looks like he triying a bit too hard (flux music) Garrus is the type of person that wants something done well or not at all. The amount of effort he puts in is so sweet
.
Why do I feel warm and fuzzy now?

Only girl he's making happy in MY games is Shepard, darn it. XD Some female turian tries to lay her talons on him, she's gonna learn just why he "respects her more than anyone else in the galaxy." >

Am I weird for saying I think it'd be brilliant if some random turian woman hit on romanced Garrus? I can think of like ten cool and potentially hilarious things he or femshep might do in response to that.
I'd like it if some attractive men would hit on my femsheps for a change

And actually I've kinda gotten the impression that Bioware is hinting that femshep is bi, like it or not. Just as they seem to be trying to say dudeshep is straight, like it or not. If they are doing this, it really sucks.

The store is actually planning to release a line of plushies soon, so hopefully the wait won't be too long. I just hope they don't mess up their design like they did with the tshirt.
Thats just great, now i can cross that final line into insane psychotic obsession for this series.
LOL, welcome...the land of psychotic obsession always welcomes more tenants!
Although, I do wonder what my husband will say when I start sleeping with a Garrus plushie...probably, "Get off the PC. I need to look up a divorce lawyer"

Here's a question for all the ladies here. Do you find anything physically attractive about Garrus and if so what is it? Or is it all voice and personality?
Believe it or not but this was asked by my fiance the other night.
Yep. I have a thing for turians going back to ME1. I love the slender waist in combination with the broad shoulders. Lean and spare but strong looking build is also nice.
this!
And I also have a weird thing for turian leg spurs and the fact they stand on their toes, but that's probably just me.
Nope. Absolutely, positively not just you. Turian feet = <3<3<3.

More important is whether or not those acts are actually expected of turian males in turian culture.mrsph wrote...
The important question is whether or not Garrus will open a boor for Shepard or pull a seat out for her during a date.

I have no doubt he would open a boor. With a sniper rifle. (Sorrow. I'm a word junkie.)

I personally have no problem with Shepard being bi. I am and so is my mainShep. My renegade Shep is a lesbian. I don't think I have any totally straight Shepards.Ragabul the Ontarah wrote...
I would also like it if the LIs didn't just stand there when varoius asari are rubbing up on you. I support asari repellent in ME3.

Hah, I don't think I've ever had a man pull out a chair for me IRL (maybe and I just forgot, but it's surely not commonplace). Therefore, I wouldn't expect Garrus to do it.
And all my Shepards are 100% all hetero female (except Ricky the Renegade, of course). Never mind that they all sit and walk like burly male ice road truckers.

Maybe it's the fact that he's impressed with someone else's performance for once and he's not bragging about his own shooting skills...LOL

I have no problem with Shep being bi if I choose to make her so. I have a shep who is bi in fact. I don't like the idea that if I want a straight Shep, I can't have one because the devs have it set that she is bi.

I feel the same way, but I can't say I have ever felt that the devs restricted me to having a bi Shepard.
