I can see Garrus as chivalrous and thoughtful, and if you're in a relationship I think that would come across as romantic. Not sure I see him as a Romantic though. He seems too practical and grounded some how.

I concur. I see him trying to do romantic things (music and wine...heheh) because he's thoughtful like that and is trying to make it work...not necessarily because he's a romantic. Maybe in his own, endearing way... :3

I think I kind of get what you're saying. I don't think he's an overt romantic, but that he tries is romantic inits own way.

Plus he likes to put 100% into whatever it is he wants. Look how determined he was during the saren investigation, during omega, its no surprise he'd put 100% into a relationship is well. Even if it looks like he triying a bit too hard (flux music) Garrus is the type of person that wants something done well or not at all. The amount of effort he puts in is so sweet .

I have a feeling that he just tries to be romantic for Shepard. Trying to make things special and all that. He's a sweet guy, he can just be pretty bloodthirsty in combat.

Didn't know I could do that! in chlora's den , when you talk to harkin and he talks about how anderson was a spectre , select "how do you know this?" you get two extra dialogue options on the right, if you do the renegade one , yay you can point a gun at him! I hate harkin!

I would also like it if the LIs didn't just stand there when varoius asari are rubbing up on you. I support asari repellent in ME3.
And actually I've kinda gotten the impression that Bioware is hinting that femshep is bi, like it or not. Just as they seem to be trying to say dudeshep is straight, like it or not. If they are doing this, it really sucks.

Hah, I don't think I've ever had a man pull out a chair for me IRL (maybe and I just forgot, but it's surely not commonplace). Therefore, I wouldn't expect Garrus to do it.
And all my Shepards are 100% all hetero female (except Ricky the Renegade, of course). Never mind that they all sit and walk like burly male ice road truckers.

I have no problem with Shep being bi if I choose to make her so. I have a shep who is bi in fact. I don't like the idea that if I want a straight Shep, I can't have one because the devs have it set that she is bi.

I feel the same way, but I can't say I have ever felt that the devs restricted me to having a bi Shepard.
