I'm more concerned about his elbow than his eyes.

What's wrong with his elbow?

Turian elbows are spiky. But really I'm not concerned about his elbow or his eyes. I just figured that if somebody thought Garrus eyeballing their boobs was bad than Garrus elbowing their boobs would be capitol bad form. Elbow away I say.

*Edit* Not his elbow...what is that THING jabbing Shep in the boobs?

Not entirely sure what you're talking about.

Raga I believe that is actually Shep's arm - she's holding Garrus on the upper arm

There's a weird pointy thing there. It's in front of her arm. It almost looks like part of the wall. It's bizarre. I have 0 photo editing skills or I'd mark it. Hmm. I'm pretty sure I can manage to circle something in red in Paint or something. Hang on.

As it turns out I can't even draw a straight line in Paint.  My artistic skills are that nonexistent.  Anyway, what is that weird gray blob thingy?

I kind of assumed it was part of the wall/bulkhead behind Garrus and Shep

But the perspective is funny. It almost looks like it is in front of her arm. So the wall is coping a feel and Garrus isn't? Somebody just isn't paying attention. Given that batarian bartender incident, three guesses who it is.

Garrus totally needs to head-butt that wall into behaving if that's the case :-P

Id like to bring to the conversation table this question.

How exactly would Garrus eat? Obviously, "with his mouth" but i doubt he would have the same patterns humans have.

As awesome as Garrus is, i imagine watching him or any turian eat is a rather unpleasant experience.

I think he mostly swallows stuff whole. Turians have gizzards and that's what gizzards are for, grinding up food for animals that can't chew much.

Yeah, anything but chunks would totally fall out the side of his mouth. I wouldn't mind seeing an animation of a turian eating something...better yet, drinking. Lorik talks about having a drink...I'd like to take him up on his offer, to see how he pulls it off!

OK, I just re-ran through that part of Garrus's LM again. While he's talking to Shepard about Harkin, Garrus says, "What is he up to?" (actually pretty similar to the line on his RM, "Let's see what they're up to...") The seductive tone in his voice there is...striking. Dammit BK!! Get out of my head!! :P

Hmm I'd imagine Turians would just chomp on food a few times then swallow it in chunks - kind of like a crocodile.

and KG that line is delicious - the way he says it just makes me shiver (in a good way)

Romance/love is definitely subjective. I think attraction is what separates friends (even very close ones) from lovers. But it is certainly not that way for everyone. Maybe that's why I don't like it as much.

I would like to have also seen more of Garrus as the seducer instead of the seducee. An extra scene after the Suicide Mission or something. That would have been epic!

Define what you mean by "attraction."  This means different things to different people.  To me atrraction is "initial curiosity and a desire to explore to see if a relationship is possible."  Eventually "affection" gets added  if the attraction is mutual and ongoing.  Later it becomes "devotion."  Shep and Garrus passed up the attraction part about a million years ago.  They just never formally explored it because they became friends before they became lovers.  There was also not "affection" because they weren't lovers.  They have already gotten to the devotion part.  The only thing they have to add in is the affection.

Attraction like physical attraction? They like eachother's personalities of course, but they also need physical attraction too, right?

Sorry if I'm stagnating the discussion but I like hearing what other people have to say on the matter.

Right, the gizzard. Heres whats great about that.
In order for the gizzard to work, animals with them have to swallow small rocks to grind up  the food with.
Basicly what im getting at is; Garrus is so badass, he eats rocks for breakfast.
(p.s. Is that a proper use of a semi-colin? No seriously.)

Good discussion is good, oenis. No worries. :)
I can only compare to personal experience. I remember this one time, my best friend and I were practically fighting over this totally nerdy guy. I swear this guy fit the whole archetype of nerd. He literally had the pants pulled up almost to his chest, white button-down shirt, skinny, pasty...not what you'd call "classically attractive". So why were we fighting over him? He was hilarious! We weren't the only girls falling over him, either...
He was so witty, and smart, and I don't know about anything else, but the things he was saying made him physically more attractive for me.
Maybe things about Garrus makes him physically more attractive to Shep.
My roommate in college confessed to me, she knew George Thorogood (an American singer) wasn't handsome, but his music made him exponentially more attractive to her.
Sometimes, a person's attributes can contribute SUBSTANTIALLY to their physical appeal. It's a fact.

eta: Theodoric:  I'd have used a colon there, but is a semi-colon incorrect?  I know not :P

I understand, I have had unusual crushes myself (not including Garrus, it is normal to crush on him, even if he is an alien). I thought signs of physical attraction might have been established before the romantic encounter, so it doesn't seem to come completely out of the blue (pun intended).

I think they develop physical attraction.  I think femshep may have it from the get-go.  My femshep has it from the beginning.  I think Garrus comes into it more slowly, but he does come into it.  I admit, it's hard to prove the physical attraction on his end though there is some circumstantial/fanon kind of evidence for it.  I think it's mostly evidenced by the very subtle but deep excitement Garrus starts to get at the idea of the relationship.  Like Kasumi's "Garrus really likes you."  Something about that never seemed like just "he likes your personality" to me.  I mean, I already knew he thought that.  That isn't new.  Why would she tell me that?  Or the exuberance of his initial reaction which is pretty much "hell yeah!" when you first ask him to blow off steam.

He doesn't start questioning it until later and then he is actually concerned about femshep.  "I know you can find something closer to home."  I think he's surprised she picked him and really wants to make sure she's into this.  He never suggests he isn't into it himself.  He's fishing to make sure she really is.  And also, I think he values a relationship that can go beyond looks.  He's torn up about his scars.  They bother him.  That's part of the potency of when Shep strokes her hand down his face in the romance scene.  She's saying "I don't care about these" and that gesture is what gets him to finally calm down and go with it.  Cue moving silence and meaningful, deep stare. So even if he isn't phsycally attracted to Shep; he isn't turned off by her either and he figures "she can look past the physical hurdles on my side.  I should be able to look past  them for her as well."  That scene is especially moving if you are playing a renegade Shep who is also scarred up.

Also, yes, I think turians are sexy as hell for various reasons so the attraction is very much there from my end of things or my femshep's end of things.

@Theo

No, that isn't proper use of a semi-colon.  They are used to separate sentences with the same theme.  It implies connection beyond what you get with a period.  Hence:  that is a bigass dog; it bit me hard on the ankle.
